I was looking for a pinned thread and I notice that they are still not back at the top of the forums.

Any word on when that will be fixed?

Hi Beesie -- no word yet, but this is definitely on the to-do list. We'll ping the tech team again to let them know how important it is. Thanks for the reminder!

2TA, good question! It's the feature that lets Mods pin threads to the top of each Forum's list of topics - such as this thread, and "Important Links for Newbies" that show up at the top of many forums.

Yes, you should be able to see them with your iPad, when you look at Forums that have pinned/sticky threads!

thanks for clearing that up Mods! I was thinking it was a feature that we posters had (like a sticky note of some kind, but different than inserting a picture).

Still having my list wiped clean with each re-log-in which is also every time I quit and restart my browser [after a period of one week when it all behaved properly.] Latest MAC OS, Mavericks, and Safari. Sadly, the stickies are back so reading the boards on a mobile device is almost impossible. Just far too much scrolling to get past all those threads.

Susan, we will definitely look at the stickies, and reevaluate them. As for the other issue, I assume you mean your favorites list, right?!  I will add that to our "bugs" tech list!

Sorry I wasn't clearer.... directly, no. When I quit my browser and then re-open it and log in, all the threads are missing the "NEW." It looks like I have read everything in a particular forum, but I haven't. Obviously, I spend most of my time on the Stage IV forum. I don't generally read the threads that are about bone mets, or HER2+ diagnosis; but it appears that I have read them all. Now, if I remember that the last post I read in a thread was not the name I see in the list, and I click the thread, it does take me to the correct post.

This must be so frustrating for you... and I appreciate how much effort you are taking to talk to your tech team.

Mods...any reason why though overall its working well.....threads are opening slow again.  I did an over-all clean up on my system thinking that was it.  Didn't help as much as I hoped.

Susan -- we've updated the tech team that the NEWs aren't working again for you. They are looking into it...

Jackie -- we're experiencing the intermittent slow times, too. We've also added this to the list for the tech team.

    Thanks!

We've not had spam for ages.  Very nice. ThumbsUp (I hope my comment doesn't jinx things.)

I've had a problem tonight that I've never had before:

In the reconstruction forum, on the bra thread, I wanted to refer someone to a thread in the lymphedema forum.  When I posted the link in the bra thread to the LE thread, when I hit 'submit' and it posted … I double checked the link and it didn't work.

It redirected me and it says this:

    Breast Cancer Topic: %{topic}

The web page that you requested cannot be found on this server.

You may want to try the Discussion Boards Search to find what you need, or just start from the All Topics page.

If not, you can might find what you want at the Breastcancer.org home page.

Please contact us if you have any questions, or to report a problem.

this has never happened before … I've always been able to link to other threads … I know it's the correct link but it isn't working properly.  I'm using an iMac safari browser version 6.1.3

Dawne-Hope, it looks as though the link was cut off, which made it unclickable. We've fixed it in your post - please let us know if this happens again and we'll get the tech team to look into it.

    thank you.

I didn't do anything different than I normally do so I don't know how it was cut off but thank you for fixing it!

Mods, I looked for this thread to post a link for someone and the pictures don't seem to be coming up.  Can this be corrected so once again the pictures show?  http://community.breastcancer.org/forum/64/topic/721626?page=1#post_1068518

Marple, we don't see any indication of broken links or missing pictures - although there were clearly pictures there, and no edits to the first post since 2008. If the pics exist somewhere else, (maybe on OneBadBoob's computer or website?) they can be re-posted within the thread, and we're glad to help with that.

The last couple of days I've had to log in, when previously I've stayed logged in for ages. It's not a big deal but thought you might like to know.

Running Windows 8, and have had slow response time all day. This seems to occur every now and then. What's up?

blainejennifer, we've been seeing some intermittent slowness too, and have been noting what we're doing when it happens, so we can report some specifics to the tech team. Anything you can add would be a big help - like whether you're getting lag opening a thread, or posting, searching, etc.

    Thanks for letting us know!
