Hahahahaha, thanks Ms. S!
-
Eeyore, happy to see you dropped in last night.
-
thanks for the warm welcome back y'all. Would love to talk Essex travel with SAS. Although did I read a lil back she fell and got hurt like that ? Not sure. Don't get there often enough lately but have great memories and pics and videos to remind me. Oops tmi right ??
-
Smaarty - You are so funny and a bit naughty, but on that same note here's another one for Wenchie.
Wenchie - Look what you did to the Hydrangeas with your blue pee! So glad your surgery went well and you're feeling good. How long until you get to go home?
Patty - Good to see you again.
When I was getting my treatment today one of the nurses told me about a product called "Bud Rub" a CBD product that is used topically for aches & pains. It is available at a dispensery, but you don't need a medical marijuana card. She said her DH uses it and apparently likes it.
Is anyone planning on seeing the movie "The Secret Life of Pets"? Looks funny, but will probably wait until it comes out on DVD. However, planning to see the Tarzan movie on the 13th for sure. The lead actor is quite handsome.
Jazzygirl & Shep - Do you know that I STILL haven't found that green blanket. I am starting to think it grew legs and walked right out of here.
Well it's off to bed for me. Sleep well everyone. Until later!
-
Loverly, scary with hubby, Is he better? Suppose since he's so type A, he doesn't have a cardiologist right? That was like 4 pages ago, hoping it's better
Hmmmmm sounds parasympathetic. Over active vagus. I'm guessing he should be put on a Holter then a the monitor that goes for a month, but can't do that without a cardiologist. If he passes out, put his legs up at a 45-60 degree angle. Wren pooped in and is thinking vagus too. Okay everyone's chimed in and thinking vagus
Chevy, just thinking about you tonight and there you are. YAY.
Shep, what and unusual experience with FFH and the family. Interesting way to bond. EWHhhhhthat guy in the thong. That's messed up. I wouldn't want to go to Essex with him. I'll take my stick man
MostlyMom, Well at least you got a sound sleep. Glad it was successful. hope the analysis can help to define your treatment. Hopahopa
Mammaray thinking of you, sorry for the chit.
Junie glad you are doing so well except for the taste, no clue on the bitter. Metallic is usually associated with a drug effect on the liver, but that's way different than bitter.
Annie, glad to see you back Congrats on the new and improved dx
So why no MO?
Wenchie, you may even be home from sx. cuz your post is from the 5th. There you are all done and feeling friskie. THEN your BP plays havoc. Did you tell them it misbehaves? Always less scary for the staff to know that stuff. Anyone put your legs up? The strange wakefulness>>>drugs
Patty Hugs sweetie,
Howdy Feline, jazzy, Eeyore

Smarrty, I have one methylene blue story. Someone ripped off some from the hospital and put in the spiked punch at a pool party. The plum looked just like that for a couple of girls. It was sooo funny.
Patty, I'm worn out from Essex. Unusual week. Makes me sleep allot.
Face is good, scab's solid, no infection. Need to get some aloe vera gel.
-
SAS. Hugs sweetie
-
Good morning friends- short work week but of course, more crammed into a few days, right? Tomorrow is Friday again, yay!
MammaRay- even lying down at the hotel and watching the tube may help you to relax. Hope you can get some rest at the hotel today.
Wench- you sound like you are doing well. I remember that blue pee from my surgeries and sentinel node biopsies.
JazzyJune- I am pretty sure your green blanket and my green shoes ran off together. Lol!
Wishing everyone else a good day!
-
This is a BEAUTIFUL arrangement of this song!

Chevy great rendition of the song, brings back a lot of memories. I love when the classics are redone.
Patty nice to see you posting.

Hello everyone, I'm home and feelin' fine!
Our Church Family has started dropping off our meals for us. Homemake chicken noodles, corn on the cob and homemade blackberry pie! Ohhh sooo yummy!
Sassy, I made sure everyone I chatted with yesterday knew of my bad behaving BP. It dropped down to 85/52. It was at 109/60 when I left which is about right for me. Every shift change I warned the caretakers not to panic when taking my BP. Everyone at the hospital was really great and we kept each other laughing the whole time. If I have to be here going through all of this I'm going to make the best of it!
There was a sentinel node involved so we'll learn what the next step is when the path report comes in. I'm doing great and in good spirits who could ask for more?
Well, my pain meds are kicking in so I'm off to lala land!
Thank you for all the love, support and prayers they are so very muchappreciated!
My love to all!
-
I've been lurking for awhile, but Chevy you have brought me out again. That was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I have to down load it to my various devices. BTW, welcome back. It's good to see you.
To everyone, I think about you daily. Hoping life is being kind to you.
-
Chevy, Beautiful! I once got to see Simon and Garfunkel in concert. It was sold out and they decided to put chairs in the orchestra section. We were 4 rows back and only slightly to the side. Incredible performance.
-
Chevy- I know you will want to know this! My steel drum class started up last night and talked to the teacher about wanting one BAD and he is going to help me to get one this summer. He has a used one he said will be perfect and at a better price than buying new off the internet. He said he will figure something out to help me.
My neighbors are gong to love me now......
-
Let me know how it goes JazzyG.... ! So glad! Sounds like this is just what you wanted.... I mean they CAN'T be damaged, can they?
-
Lori, hope family and DH are spoiling you. Thank God for church family. Love your upbeat attitude.
Kathi, glad the wind was right for you to drop in. Has FFH earned the his DH name back?
Jazzy, how exciting, but your poor neighbors when you need to release your tension from stress.
Ms. Chevy, nice remake of the Sound of Silence. I like his deep voice, but still prefer the original....sounds more soothing. This song and The House of The Rising Sun remind me of the time when the US came to help VN fight the communist. Amazing how music takes you back to the same place where you first heard it.
-
I know what you mean Loverly.... Sometimes "things" just take us back to another time in our lives... Or a song gets on our mind, and it just doesn't go away! If we could only "wash away" bad memories.... and never find them again! So glad your life is good now little one! xoxo
-
I just heard from Ducky.... Said Blondie passed away she thinks Thursday? Has anyone else heard this? Such a long battle that gal had.... Now she can sleep with the angels..... And no more pain.............Sleep well little Blondie....
-
Chevy- yes, we have lost Blondie. I have started writing here a couple times today and just could not finish. She passed away last night, and just so sad. That poems is beautiful. Thanks for sharing that. Bringing the tears.....
Many on the Blondie thread are sharing their thoughts and encourage you to go there if you are so inclined.
Rest in peace dear Blondie. You will be missed.
-
Yes, beautiful poem Ms. Chevy. This is the same one shared at....was it your niece's funeral? I couldn't write about Ms. Blondie's passing here this morning either.
-
Jazzygirl - I am sorry to hear about Blondie. You said that if we were inclined to, to visit her thread. However there are numerous members with the name of "Blondie". How do I get to the correct one?
-
JazzyJune- here is her thread. One of the sisters on BCO created it last year I think to help her along as things were changing and so she had some better support from us. Notes of encouragement, funny pictures, things from the garden, those goofy pet shots, etc. She would pop in and say hi to us and here sometimes too.

Lover, right now he has gone back to being DH. For over a year now he has alternated between Jekyll and Hyde due to health issues. When he is Jekyll, he says some very mean things to me. Luckily, it doesn't last long but I tend to go quiet. Plus, he doesn't like me on this site. I enjoy the camaraderie here and the friendships that are made. I learned so many things here.
So sorry to hear about Blondie. I remember her from one of the other threads I use to be on. May she rest in peace.
Jazzy, here in DC during the warm weather one of the major parks has a drum circle on Sunday's that lasts oat of the day. I've been a couple of times and there is something about it that is mesmerizing to me. Good luck in getting your drum.
-
Dear Kath.... I think we all know the Jekyll & Hyde in our men, whether is is health reasons or drinking or whatever...Or maybe we have just seen this in other families.... but I figured out you just don't tell them everything they don't need to know... We spoil and pamper them too much, and seem afraid to just stop..... Stop right there, and look at them and say Have you gone completely out of your MIND???
You put your hands on your hips, and look them square in the eye and SAY that! Then walk away. Walk away, and throw your hand up like "tell it to the hand".... Stomp off and go do your own thing.
Don't let those little chitty moods they get in spoil YOUR fun! As soon as we learn to STAND UP, throw their crap right back AT them, then they will learn they can't push you around. Wish my Mom had done that ...........
And don't tell him anything about what you hear or say on this site... He is jealous that you have someone else to talk to... We don't tell these men everything we do or think. And the older you get, you will understand how fun this is... to actually be in charge....
-
Rest in peace sweet Blondie!
-
RIP Blondie. Sincere condolences to all who knew and loved her.
-
Thank you Jazzygirl for the link to Blondie's thread.
-
I didn't know Blondie but from reading her thread it has given me insight to why everyone loves her so. What an awesome Angel the BOC crew has had all these years. I wish peace and condolences to all her Family and Friends. I truly believe Blondie is no longer in pain and is by our Lord's side. May she rest in peace!
-
Hi all,
I'm new on this thread but am a long time insomniac. Good to be here! I didn't know Blondie but am sorry to hear of her passing….
