Jazzygirl, thank you so much! I'm looking forward to it all being over with!
The probe insertion scaresme the most! The surgery? Well, I'll sleep thru that lol
-
Well done Mostlymom.
Best wishes Wenchie.
MammaRay hope you can rest and let everyone you love look after you. XXX
-
Wenchie - I'll second Jazzygirl. I am praying all goes smoothly tomorrow.
Shep - Never, Never say shotgun to a copper! Funny woman.
-
Got to go watch the fireworks here last evening. In my memory I can't remember the last time it was sooooo cold on a July 4th. Usually we are sweating like crazy. Weird weather.
-
wenchie, that was the part I was afraid of. But they should mix it with lidocaine so it will be just like a normal pinch when you get a shot. You'll be asleep when they do the blue dye. What I didn't realize was the first couple of times you pee it will be emerald green! So don't freak! In your pocket and be a good girl and do NOTHING for at least 2 weeks. You'll be doing good just to wipe your own a***. Have plenty of fruit to counter act the drugs so you don't get constipated. Have you read any on the constipation thread? Lots of help and info there. Is this an in and out for you or will you stay overnight? What time tomorrow?
Had a nice fourth. My baby boy turned 41 yesterday. Boy, I'm beginning to feel old? We went to his house. Had a nice fireworks show by a couple of his neighbors who had illegal fireworks.
Thinking of you all. Be good out there!
-
Wenchie ~ Joining the pocket party!
I'll even dress up and try to behave
-
I'm surethis is one of us!
(Not me though)😮
-
Wenchie in your pocket tomorrow, best wishes
-
Wenchi, In your pocket tomorrow. Watch how active you are with the Grandchildren. Too easy to go overboard with them. Let DD do all the work.
-
did I show you guys this? Finished it this morning. Cats like it.
I'll probably make a couple more
-
Smarty- love that black and white cat and your cushions too!
-
Oooh, very nice cushion. What is the name of the thing again? It looks comfortable. Perfect size for a cat to lounge on.
Lori, I could hear the excitement in your voice. I don't remember any probe insertion prior to surgery, but I do remember the dye injection. My surgeon wanted to do it herself prior to surgery and warned me to the possible minor sting. I only felt the sting of the needle. Not only did I get bright green urine, I also got bright green doodle too. Not sure why my surgeon looked at me funny when I told her. I think I was her first (and possibly the only patient to report that). May the Great Physician guide your surgeons' hands and grant them wisdom to carry out the surgery successfully.
MammaRay, don't listen to ShepK.
ShepK, I didn't know you were so vain. May I make a suggestion though? Back off on the black eye shadow. You look like a raccoon or me when I'm tired. Btw, I watched The Life of Pi with DH. Interesting movie. Made me think and that makes my head hurt. DH didn't like it because he is more of a straightforward and literal guy. He prefers action movies with zero plot.
Ms. S, I don't mind watching the movie again with you. You should come over one day when you are free. Anyway, aren't we all that one friend who is not right in the head in our own ways.
-
JuniieB, the weather was cool last night for us here too and is perfect today. High of 84...can't ask for more for July.
-
Annie, I post using my phone also. Most of the times I remember less than half of what I read and forget to address everyone. Just pop in anytime and talk away. Just don't do what Ms. Sas does. She goes away for a few days and then she drops in and writes a book with this crazy energy. I always get a head spin reading her book and tend toforget most ofwhat I read.
-
Popping in to wish everyone a belated Happy 4th of July!
Wenchlori- in your pocket tomorrow for surgery. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
-
Lot's of catching up to do. Yes I have facial burn, UGH, hope it won't scar too badly. I had progressed from the initial tissue roll to a pattern type thingy. It was really a good pattern. Enough that I didn't realize a problem till the stinging. Always sumpin. Doing a split screen, but even then I miss things. I went back to several pages.
Loverly, the vet tried, but alas, chit.
Wenchie, I did a weight thread and with the weight thread I got into the microbiome. The Microbiome research is PROVING stuff. BUT all research related other than the microbiome is metanalysis retrospective. Empirical research got our species through thousands of years. Now if science can put the applied science and the empirical together we have it covered.
Shep, I scrolling trying to xcatch up and I see this " Warning: Ranting Below" I read it as " Warning: Rainbow Below". Did a double take---Definitely not a rainbow below as it was the rant about the foot. and Fart Faced Husband

ON installation of grab-bars the kits come with shitty screws, Substitute STAINLESS steel screws
-
LONG stainless steel screws, it is to be hoped. Really ultra-LONG screws.
(whistles innocently) No, really, the hardware. Honest.
-
Queenie ~ what are YOU grabbing? 😎
-
Susan, you bled your heart out, so, I will too. Donnie is/was the opposite of Greg. My friends don't accept Donnie. So, the gatherings have stopped. Seriously, a sad thing. But what Donnie has brought to me is a normalcy that I never knew in my life. This might make some uncomfortable. So stop reading right NOW.
We meet as a couple when I was 62 hew was 54. A month after the craniotomy. We clicked. Greg was gone for 2years. Greg was impotent for something like 20 years. Plus, even before that he was messed up by the church. I accepted it b/c I loved him. But Donnie and I have a really nice active relationship.
Donnie has his problems and so do I. But to have an intimate relationship that is knocking off my sandals several times a week. Lordy, it will take allot to kick him to the curb.
-
HI1 there was a post somewhere, that you asked me something. Not to ignore I can't find it?
-
Shepkitty: nothing of our Sas's, I promise. But I want to know the name of her contractor...
-

Loverly ~ put some pants on those monkeys!
Sensi ~ Hope you and Chance are doing well and enjoying some nice doggie park days
Eeyore ~ I would much prefer Sas's handyman too!
Sas ~ Rainbows are better than rants ~ I like the way you see things
MammaRay ~ Sleeping in a new place is always hard the first few nights. Hoping you are having happy sunny days
Wishing all a restful, comforatalbe night full of lovely dreams..........
