Alpha Bear - that is what he is! He is full of healing love from your true blue DMIL. Each of his letters surely stand for powerful, positive words. What a precious gift 😊
Good Morning ~ Love you all 💟
-
Shep taking control and moving forward is a good sign that you are not in that darn rabbit hole. Hopefully you will hear this week about your surgery. Sounds like you have good people around you, keep pushing for what you need.
I like alpha bear as well.
Susan your right, life has more joy when you are active, you sound like you have a busy week enjoy yourself.
-
Ok, Alpha Bear it is! I will let my DMIL know that his name has been decided!
Thank you feline! I love it!
-
Thank you Shepkitty, now Alpha Bear has a story to go along with his name!
You guys rock!!

FeelingFeline-
Dave Lister for PM!
-
Good motivation??
-
Smaarty - I want to live in your neighborhood! 😎 I'll behave and not post what I see here 🙊
-
my neighborhood has the baggy pants by teenagers! 😿
-
I'll be wearing BIG pockets tomorrow in hopes some of you will be joining me for a sound shock-wave party. 38 years ago, I had a kidney stone that brought me to my knees - the pain was way above and beyond my 2 "natural" birth deliveries. Since I've had frequent UTI's, my pcp referred me to a urologist and after many tests, discovered I have another huge stone and a few small ones. Curiously, this one didn't/doesn't hurt! ???? Anyway, at 7 am tomorrow, I'll go in to have the stones broken down to dust hopefully, with sound shock-waves. No slicing or dicing, but I will be anesthetized (thank goodness).
I still read BC.org daily, and even though I don't contribute much, you are all my special family and in my thoughts and prayers.
Martha

Mostlymom ~ May you all your stones be gently zapped to dust. Sending thoughts of healing and comfort your way. In your pocket! (((hugs)))
-
Mostlymom, count me in! Wishing you stone zapping success! Make room for me Shepkitty :-)
-
Mostlymom-wishing you a good procedure tomorrow and for kidney stones to be gone for good!
-
MostlyMom, In your pocket. Dust is good.
Sandra, Holding you both in my thoughts and prayers.
-
Mostlymom in your pocket tomorrow and hoping all the stones are zapped
-
Mostlymom - praying for smooth zapping of those stones and quick painless passage.
-
The auto-correct tried to make the word "painless" into "piles" & "pinless".
Oh Geez!
-
Wow Susan!!! That is the longest post I have seen you written ever since I joined IT. Love your " Live and love fully" attitude.
Lori, your MIL is so sweet.
Feline, how much is the average income tax in your country? It is wonderful that your government takes care of your elders.
ShepK, please, no need to apologize. I am glad that you shared your feelings. I was a bit overwhelmed, but that's just me. I need to learn to find that fine balance between concern and worrying....if that makes sense.
Edit: never mind. That doesn't make sense. What I am trying to say is I need to learn to not internalize my family's and friends' difficulties. Is it easier not to care?
-
Mostlymom, best wishes tomorrow. Look out.... I'm jumping in the pocket also.
MammaRay, hugs.
-
ShepK, forgot to say I am glad to hear that you put your foot down. Can only pray that your worse half willbecome your better half.
-
MamaRay ~ prayers for healing , comfort and happiness for you and your family 🌷
Susan ~ Thinking of you and hoping you had plenty of quality Gramma time today. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself this morning. We have much in common, both the good and the not so good. Seeking joy, laughing hard.... LIVING! That is a good plan 🌈
JunieB ~ Has your pain eased at all? So much walking so soon...... when puppy time comes you'll be wearing HIM out!
Wenchie showed us a Care Bear and Lookie gave us a Scare Bear!
Loverly ~ It does make sense. When those we care about are hurting and we can't "fix it", it hurts us too. I am sad that you were sad because I was sad. I care about you and don't want you to be upset. That is why I resisted the temptation to post pics of fat men with their bum cracks hanging out of their pants when Smaarty posted her nice bum pictures 😁
I am so humbled by the outpouring of encouragement and support here ~ I love you all my friends 💕
-
-
Oh please don't. Ok, sleep attack. Nite nite. We shall continue tomorrow.
-
Loverly ~
Sensi ~ Here's how you can keep Chance company while you are at work! How to use Skype to chat with your pets I want to try it! Hoping you are healing comfortably, that work is going well and Chance has plenty more pool days ahead
-
hoping for stones to go away and never never come back
Mammaray, hugs hugs and more hugs
Yeah....you can put your "colorful" foot down. Progress
Got to babysit yesterday, all by myself for 3 hours. Elena LOVES the heat...not sunshine....but heat. We sat on our screen porch, which faces west, nice and warm. Very happy baby. When she was leaving, many many smiles, some with open mouth wide......very close to start giggling. Thought some were gonna come out...to early yet...but it was funny to watch. It was almost like she knew there was something more, but didn't know what.
Peaceful, fun day for all

JWoo - LOL
mostlymom - Very best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Lover - Irish tax is paid at 2 rates: 20% and 40%. 40% tax is only paid on income above a threshold, so a high earner may pay tax at 20% on some of their income and 40% on remainder. Where the threshold is varies according to set circumstances (single, married, single with dependent children, carer for incapacitated relative etc). Everyone receives a tax credit at the beginning of the financial year. Again tax credits are set with circumstances, similar to the tax thresholds. This means some of your income will be tax free. It means low earners, incl those working part time/part year may pay no tax if the years tax bill is lower than the tax credit. Everyone (low earners included) must pay social insurance, although very low earners will pay at a lower rate. Only those over the age of 66 are exempt from social insurance. There are different classes of social insurance so the rate can vary from 0.9% to 4%. Public health care, which is 100% free, is funded by social insurance. Ireland is quite a good place to be old. For example those over 66 have free travel on all public transport, they also get free passports. Public transport is a strong element of life here. Over 70's receive free prescription medicines regardless of income or illness. Under 70's may get it free if they have serious illness or are low paid. I qualify due to having had BC. (Yaay BC rocks!) JOKE
However health, like all public services, can ALWAYS use more funds.

No one is roughing house today?
Hello Jwooo!
Feline, my goodness!! 40% is a lot of taxes. I would strive to be a minimalist if I lived in Ireland. It is good though that your seniors and disabled/ill are taken care of by the government.
Mostlymom, hope the procedure went well today. Our friend from Nepal just recently had stones removed from her kidney too. I need to get that picture. She had enough stones to play mancala.
Ms. Sas, you're still researching??
JunieB, when do you plan to go to Redding again?
Ms. S, did they ever find out what was wrong with Tinker?
ShepK, I don't want you or anyone to stop sharing. I am the one who choose to read. Never mind me. I need to learn not to be a chameleon.
Well, finally found out that the Apoquin prescribed for Mitzy's itching was causing her to have loose stool. I thought it was the antibiotics. It did help her with the itch. I cleaned her crate this morning and found urine in the corner. She has never done this before. We had not locked the gate of her crate.Did some research and was surprised of the many side effects (tumors, n/v, diarrhea, anemia, aggression/depression, increased liver enzymes, to name a few)reported by owners. Wish I had done research before agreeing to give it to Mitzy. Vet told me it can be taken on long term and made it sound like it's a safes drug. trusted the vet SIGH

SPIDER!!!!

Good morning, afternoon, and evening!
-
lover, you're up to trouble this morning! Why we up early? Oh yeah, you have to go to work😓. I was up at 6:30 for no reason! I didn't see tinker pee and no one else has done anymore. So all is good for now.
Wench, you ready?
Susan, more pics. I'll have to get a few more of Evie before they leave. They're going to Ft Collins in early August. 😪
Oh yeah, it's hot here 107 yesterday. My car!
-
I'm ready Smaarty and started the count down to next Wednesday!
Too funny girls! LOL
