Claire thinks she can sit up I guess. Wonder how long before she fell over...lol
-
Jazz, rest up as much as you can before you go home
-
Cute baby girls! I love it :-)
-
Awww! Evie & Elena, so cute.
Feline - you can disregard my question. I found a show on CNN discussing the EU topic, so I'm getting caught up.
-
JunieB!
Quick - make an edit up there above me! First my prison cat... now there's an evil baby! I've been in the deep dark grumpies and you made me laugh out loud. Bless you my friend 💟
-
Awww ShepK, I had a feeling you were stuck in the pit. Don't hold it. Hugs and hoping the sun will shine in your corner soon.
That was twice JunieB renamed Evie. I figured it was the autocorrect on her phone. Thot I would keep quiet to see if anyone would catch it. Hey Junie, since we are at it, it was Feline not Forward who mentioned the EU. Feline should be up shortly. BUT, I think JunieB is probably in her REM sleep at the moment.

Wenchie ~ Is this one of yours? Come get him!
-

Shepkitty! Thank goodness someone found him! I've been so worried about him!
After all the yard work today I think I'd like to try seeing double later tonight!
Ok, so after so much prodding I found some left over eggs in the back of the fridge so I put them out for the critters. I'm not sure who enjoyed them but they were gone this morning. I'm still not cooking for the critters but they can have all the left over eggs they want.
The critter chow I use I've never tried it myself. It has added protein and vitamins in it for healthier hair, bones, young etc I'll send some to anyone willing to try it. I'm worried my hair will get out of control like Loverly's feet and the last thing I need is 6 to 10 young running around my house!
-
My break has come to an end, so it's back on Lil Red to finish mowing. It's perfect weather to do a little chunky dunkin when I'm done! The pool looks so refreshing!
-
Where is the meat? Wait , wait, I just read the last paragraph again. Are you talking about raccoon chow like clam chowder? And I thought chicken feet was a delicacy!
-
SusieM49: I have an out-of-the-ordinary suggestions for your BMX: take some "before" photos if you want to journal your journey. I used the timer function of my camera, so no one else has seen my photos.
The first "after" photos were taken the morning after discharge. I took photos every 2-3 days those first few weeks. The photos were tough to look at, as I was terribly bruised and swollen. However, I was encouraged by the improvement with each set of photos. I also had to email a few photos to the nurse when I developed an infection.
Best wishes for a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery.

I would rather have these:
In fact, I am eating them right now to counter the heat we are having here. I'm so grateful my pancreas is still functioning no
-
Loverly ice cream looks inviting, but no heat wave here, just lots of rain.
Junie hope the PT is
going well.
My dog has another partial torn ligament in the opposite leg, the meds have kicked in and is is able to walk again.
Shep a little something to brighten your day.
-
SusieM-Welcome
Smaarty-Hope you had a great time in Tahoe. Are you surviving the heat now that you are home? How's the kitty doing?
JazzyJune/Smarrty-First week back went pretty good, besides the first day back. Getting back into the groove of things. My body does feel it, but getting use to my new "normal". I already go back tomorrow as I'm off on Fri and Sat's. The weekends go by too fast.
Sas-Waiting to see what my Onco score is. Like you my family history is riddled with CA. Thyroid, breast, lung, leukemia and I lost my dad to colon cancer. Been feeling like I have this dark cloud following me Just taking it a day at a time, and hope to get out of my funk once I make a final decision if I'm going to do anything else in terms of treatment. Glad to hear the IRS didn't get you.
Lover-mmmm ice cream. Sure sounds good on a hot day like today
Hope everyone else is well. Keep those baby pictures coming
-
I almost forgot...Chance keeping cool at the dog park
-
Loverly, we're talking about the chow I feed the raccoons. I'm not sure if I'd like raccoon chowder but I love clam chowder!
The ice cream looks soooo gooood!!
Sensi, Chance looks very comfortable in the pool of water. So cute!
-
I'm surviving the heat, haven't gone outside except to feed the cats. Tinker seems to be fine, no more red urine anywhere. This is my sisters DH and dog. The dog gets his own floater. He LOVES water. Sensi, twin to yours!
Might have some ice cream tonight.
Forward, where are you with all that snow? Down under?
-
No thank heavens that is not where I live.
-
OMG! I am horrified to see what that BLASTED autocorrect did AGAIN. I usually catch those screwups. So sorry Smaarty!
-
Hahahahaha, somebody is up. How are you today? We got to find a way to get Sensi and Shepkitty out of there the rabbit hole.
-
their rabbit hol
-
hole
-
See Lover even you have an autocorrect monster. Dirty rats.
-
I am doing fine today. They took my roommate to another room, so I am a lone in this room for now.
Apparently since she is on dialysis and she gets cold easily. I am always hot because of my treatments and my having the window open was not working for her.
Loverly - Thanks for pointing out my mistake in posting my question to the wrong lady.
Shep - Thanks to you as well. Glad I could make you laugh. I knew something was up with you since you hadn't been posting as much.
Is it anxiety or depression? Have you addressed this with your doctor's or palliative care?
You know that palliative care is there to help with quality of life issues (pain, depression, etc.). I discovered this at a conference held at my local hospital and see the PC people monthly. Very helpful. :0)
-
Sensi - Glad you are getting back into the swing of things. Take care of yourself too. Soak in a bath with some Aura Cacia bath salts if you're allowed by your doc.
Aura Cacia is sold in the healthfood section and has lavender & several other scents to help relax you.
Also, Chance looks really cool chilling in the pool. He just needs a pair of Doggles sunglasses and a doggie Mai Tai.
