yes, Lady gaga was definitely over the top---great singing, but she's way too provocative, especially for a family show like AI. I really wanted Lauren to win, but I'm very happy for Scotty too. They're doing a concert on The Today show Thursday am together.

Just wondering if anyone is watching Regis and Kelly this week. Scotty was interviewed and sang yesterday. Lauren is on there today and Haley tomorrow. Scotty was actually a pretty good interview.

Seyla- I thought Lauren seemed so muh more confident singing on Regis and Kelly than on AI. She did a really good job and you're right she was funny/cute.....good interviewer.

Last night, I finally got a chance to watch the taping of the American Idol finale. I am NOT a Scotty fan, so didn't want to see that part.
I l.o.v.e.d. Steven Tyler singing. Gosh - it felt like medicine to me. How awesome to still have that much coming through you! I wish he was able to sing longer.

Scotty and Lauren both did really well on the today show---they each sang their single release (that they sang on the finale) and then they did a duet together (which they sang together during the AI season). Seem so cute together, but they insist they are just really good friends!

I know this is early but is anyone gearing up and getting ready to start a thread for the 2012 American Idol!! I simply can't wait... this past years Idol was one of the best ever and I hope and expect that this coming years will be just as good or better!!

I was watching "The Talk" and they were making fun of Steve Tyler's man boobs in a picture taken of him on a beach. Worse picture then the one showing how he looked after taking a fall. Poor Steve

I'm so excited for the new season of American Idol!! I only hope the ones that go on are as good as the ones from this past year. Have any of you seen Scotty and Lauren's new videos? I really love Lauren's Georgia Peaches video.... it's cute and spicy.
