Anyone watching Season 10 of American Idol?
Comments

watching it right now, and hope Lauren wins it all!
-
Gotta love Gaga.
I think she is on the edge of something else with the male dancer besides glory.
-
Sheena Easton... she was on???????? She has not been anywhere in a long, long time! I must have missed that b/c I started watching the show when Mark and Sheila E. and JLo were doiing their thing...!
Teka... I did yard work too, as a matter of fact... my sinus are now killing me... slowly but for sure!
Sheila...Girl... HI!
-
OOPS! I thought Sheila E. was Sheena Easton. My bad!
Their names are so similar but one is a drummer and the other is a singer.
-
OH guess I was wrong too... I knew who she was but didn't know her name and I saw what you posted wonderland... guess I'm getting old! lol
-
That's okay Wonderland/mimi... (it's called a brain fart... and I do have plenty of those)... glad I did not miss Sheena Easton... as I LOVED HER! Whatever happened to her?!

Lauren singing with Carrie showed the huge difference in talent. Yes, I know Lauren is only 16. But I expect spectacular talent when they are scouring the country, not a good choir singer. I am very disappointed with this season.
-
Wonderland, I was thinking the same thing...... eww!
-
I love Steven Tyler!!
-
Steven still has it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
No surprise there... Congrats to all
's fans.
See yah.
-
Congratulations to the new American Idol!
-
How many trees did they sacrifice for all that confetti?
-
Steven still sexy at sixty something!
Sheila, where are you???
-
Wonderland,
My husband had the same comment during Lady GaGa's performance about being on the edge of something other than glory! Lol
-
Ladies,
It has been SO much fun sharing this time with all of you!!! Hope we can all meet again on another thread whatever the topic may be!!
g'night all!
-
Congrats to all the
fans and to the new American Idol! We actually got several great singers out of this group and I only hope that next years is as good and as much fun as this one has been with all of you wonderful ladies!
I will check back later after the West Coast watches and it ends.
Love to all
-
Sorry I went MIA I had to take a long distance phone call.
Yes Congratulations for the fans of the winner.
I will watch some parts of the show again..
-
I also want to say it was so much fun to watch the show together.
I will still keep this thread as my fav.
Stop by once in a while.
I'm looking forward to X Factor. i hope I like it.
Good Night All.♥
-
looking forward to x-factor as well maybe we can all gather here for that as well
I have a video I really want to post but I'm afraid that West Coasters haven't seen the finale yet.
-
Congrats Scotty. Not my favorite, but I thought he was very nice when he won. I thought all the hugs were sweet. Steven Tyler was the best by far tonight. He's definitely still got it. I thought Haley and Tony Bennett were pretty awesome too.
Seaside- I went and downloaded Adele after Haleys performance too. You are right Adele has an awesome voice.
Congrats Ducky! You boy got it.
-
I am so happy.............Lauren was great too.............but in today's society when you don't see a lot of 17 year old boys with that humble gentlemanly air it makes you feel good to see someone with so much class at that age.
I have grandsons his age, and I admire the way they behave, and honestly if I posted my one grandsons picture, he could pass for Scotty's twin...........I said that the first time I saw him...I would tease and call him my adopted grandson.............He is just genuinly an All American boy, with that southern charm.................I'm from the North so we don't get much southern charm at our end of the country .
So, so happy for him, and heard today that he and Lauren are going to do a duet together......I will be the first one to buy it.
Yea, my boy won.
-
A footnote....................I just hope Scotty stays the way he is........to change him would be sad...............hope his parents hold the reigns tight.
-
Thanks for posting that Scotty and Lauren are going to do a duet together can't wait for it. I will definitely buy it. Though "I thought" Lauren should have won, I think Scotty is a great singer. Just very disappointed it's time for another girl to have her day in the sun on American Idol... maybe in Jan 2012???

The dancer with Lady Gaga looked like Marc from STYCD(our fav summer show). Missed Tom Jones...bad weather here in Indiana that nite and weatherman kept cutting in! Funny, when they first started singing "Kiss" I thought Prince was coming out to sing!!!
-
Oh Shannon that is my fav show. I only warch AI because SYTYCD is not on! The dancing on there is awesome. And unlike AI they show people who can't dance at tryouts but never move them on to the Vegas round for ratings.
I didn't see that dancer though. We were watching on dvr ( we had been out and got home about an hour after it started) and my young niece was in the room. Needless to say we fast forwarded through that routine! -
We actually went and saw the tour of SYTYCD last year in Louisville, KY. It was awesome~Lauren and Kent were on the tour. We absolutely love that show!
If you get a chance look up the dance on Youtube by Chelsea(who is now a prof. dancer on Dancing with the Stars) and Marc(may be Mark) dancing to "Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis. One of my fav all-time dances from SYTYCD. I should say one of my many fav dances:) 2nd fav dance is Katee and Joshua "No Air". See, now I want to go to Youtube and re-watch them!!!!
Totally get no Gaga for the young one.
-
Shannon- That's funny you thought Prince was coming out. I thought the exact same thing. I absolutely love Prince. And then, I got Tom Jones.....yuk! Anyway, glad to see I wasn't the only one who thought that.
-
Here's a link to a duet "Up on the Roof" by Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery - take a listen it's actually really good!
Hodgkins Dz stage 3b 1980; Radiation 39 txts completed 2/4/10; Partial Mastectomy 10/29/09; DCIS and IDC; reconstruction on 12/29/10
Diagnosis: 10/22/2009, IDC, 2cm, Stage Ia, Grade 1, 0/4 nodes, ER+/PR+, HER2- -
I like Lady Gaga, but did anyone else think her performance was a bit much for a prime time show? There are youngsters in the audience. I thought the dancer with her was about to go down on her on that platform! I wonder if the producers previewed her performance? And, yes, now I know on what edge of Glory she is referring to.
Otherwise...I am glad Scotty won. I liked Haley as her voice is truly unique. Lauren is technically good, but there was something missing for me. She just didn't do it for me.
Maybe we will all come back for next season? Best to all.....
