Hooters...ha ha...my son's favorite spot..lol

Medigal, if you don't answer, we are going to start making up all sorts of lewd stories about you.
I may be dull as dishwater but I guess you went to a non commercial spot that holds a memory of something for you. Like an old, old railway station where you first met.
-
You ladies are so quick to jump on the messenger.
Just because something came from Glenn Beck's site doesn't make it untrue. There are links to follow if you want.
I saw what happened in Wisconsin. I saw the uncivil behavior. Did the MSM degrade the unions like they did the Tea Party? Besides the unions, the Communist Party was involved in those protest. You know, you can never let a "crisis" go to waste. The Communist party is getting in "on the act" for their own agenda.
I told Medigal that I would want to run away after I posted the link. Go back and re-read your posts. You were bullies. You think the only bullies are the ones who report posts. No, no, no. It is how you treat other people as well. You will not chase me away. I have been a member of this site for many years. I have just as much right to post my opinions as you do. However, if my opinions are different than yours...there ya go! You try to intimidate those who may agree with my post then say it was not directed at them. You are bullies. My skin is thick enough to take what you have to give.
Melissa needs to read your posts. They were rude and condescending.
Also, anything I posted was in reference to this country, not Canada, not the UK, not Germany, not France. Whatever goes on in Europe when they try get "their house in order" because countries are finding themself in deep debt, it will be up to that country to take care of it. There's nothing we in the US can do to speak out or stop the violence or help resolve those issues.
I like this quote:
"At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child - miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill disciplined, despotic, and useless.
Liberalism is the philosophy of sniveling brats." - P.J. O'RourkeMedigal, I'm thinking about starting a thread for those of us who are members of this site who are like-minded concerning politics. That way there should be less arguing. It's only a thought.

Trying to post a photo from today but the googlebots are duplicating my photos! One more try...

That is gorgeous E! Where is that - obviously nowhere near here - lol!
-
Oh crap. I'm just going to leave it. Double the fun!
It's me and a friend on the Celebration golf course in Orlando. I don't golf - I was designated driver for the day.
-
And happy anniversary, Medigal!!! Where did you go? Tell tell tell tell!
-
I know exactly where you are now - wish I could say more but this is a public forum. There was something about that house that was so very familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it.... Are you staying there?
-
Shirley:
Let me get this straight, unless we are U.S. citizens and agree with Glen Beck then we aren't supposed to have an opinion - think there's something wrong here.

Staying with friends in the area, but not at Celebration. Beautiful golf course!
-
Gorgeous. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Have a great holiday.
-
You're a golfer, Athena? I tried but I'm absolutely awful and don't have the patience to pursue it.

Indiana Official Reportedly Advised Scott Walker To Stage A Phony Violent Attack By Union Supporters
During the intense public battle with public employee unions last month, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) received an intriguing email from an admirer claiming to be a deputy prosecutor from Indiana. The email suggested that Walker should fake an attack on himself, in order to create sympathy for his cause and damage the reputation of the unions. The Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism has the email:
The e-mail was signed by “Carlos F. Lam.” WCIJ did some digging and discovered that indeed, there is a Carlos F. Lam who is a GOP public official in Indiana. He is a deputy prosecutor in Johnson County, Indiana — which is the same area the e-mail was sent from, according to its IP information. Lam also has a history of anti-union comments online: he’s written that Indiana is “an unsustainable public worker gravy train bubble.” In another, he said “unions & companies that feed at the gov’t trough will fight tooth & nail against anything that un-feathers their nests.”
WCIJ contacted Lam and asked him if the Hotmail address on the email belongs to him. Lam confirmed that it does — but categorically denied sending the email. “I am flabbergasted and would never advocate for something like this, and would like everyone to be sure that that’s just not me,” he said, after being read the email. He said he plans to file a police report about the matter this week.
Oddly, the email was sent on the very same day that another Indiana law enforcement official tweeted out violent plans for the protests. Jeffrey Cox, a deputy attorney general for the state, tweeted that police should “use live ammunition” against the protestors. He was fired the next day – but for now, Lam’s boss is backing him. “He didn’t send it,” he told WCIJ.
Update According to the Johnson County Prosecutor's office, Lam has admitted that he wrote the email and resigned his post.
Shirley: I doubt you would approve of this kind of behaviour. And this guy was an officer of the court.

Me, golfer? If you change the rules and say that the aim of the game is to swing and miss and OCCASIONALLY launch little white balls into lakes, then yes. Otherwise, no. Not at all.
-
Shirley, why don't you write to Beck and tell him that a bunch of bullies on breastcancer.org are having a field day with his conspiracy theories. If he has the guts to show up, then you will see some real action. We don't worship idiots who have found a money making niche for themselves, at the expense of his country. He is self serving and ridiculous. He has done so much damage and he is using you and you don't even realize it. Him and his cohorts.

Your friend is so cute

I know!!! And tasty, too. Just like chicken. (kidding!)

believe it or not, the kind of things being presented are doing more harm to the USA than not. I can't believe the disrespect I have read from the far right. Nothing your president does is good in their eyes. Put up a united front for the sake of the other nations, even if you don't like the guy. If you show such disrespect, how do you think the world will think of and treat the USA? (You is a general you).
Everyone has access to the internet, and everyone can read the crap that is being said about him. Not good.
Do those sentiments apply only to the current resident of the White House or do you believe that your friends on the left should have given, and should continue to give respect to George W, Bush too?
I think that having a commander-in-chief who (literally) bows to the leaders of other nations, and who authorizes sending our military into combat without consulting Congress as he leaves for vacation out of the country does at least as much to diminish the respect that other nations have for the US as anything written on these boards.

Ray golfs all summer long. I like driving the cart.....hehehehe!

Athena and Enjoyful:
I am also a golfer - well, I have clubs (have had them for 25 years) they're in the front hall closet - they've been in many front hall closets, in Calgary, St. Louis, Rochester (NY), Kingsport (TN), Greenville (SC) and now Burlington, Ontario - they've been on a golf course or two and on a few driving ranges - they've (I've) been good for a great many laughs mostly from the people around me - oh well I did have good intentions.

Enjoyful, your friend is so cute, and you are beautiful!

Oil is a big thing in Brazil. Marcio Mello is an oil magnet and it doesn't hurt to have friends over there. They are currently looking at drilling in Offshore Namibia, where they expect large deposits, not only of oil but natural gas. If I wasn't such a chicken I could have bought into UNX at 50 cents last year. It is now worth $5.85 and has teamed up with HRT.
Does he have to tell you everything.
AS far as Bush goes, where are the weapons of mass destruction. Obama was reluctant to get involved in this war, but I believe was pressured into it and it came to pass very quickly.
-
Sandy - I have clubs in my closet too, and I have used them. Does that make me a golfer??
Thank you, Ann! I'm thankful I didn't have beach hair today!
-
PatMom:
President Obama wasn't out of the country on vacation he was on an official visit to Brazil and he didn't send "troops into combat" he sent "air cover" along with NATO and some Arab nations there are no troops on the ground so I don't believe legally he needed an o.k. from Congress.

Enjoyful:
It certainly does make you a golfer - loved seeing your pictures - is your cute friend coming home with you?
Sandy
-
Sadly, no. I think he's happier on the warm golf course than stuffed in a suitcase!
-
Shirley I am not taking a swipe at your opinion. I enjoy listening and learning from everyone. I was merely stating my amusement of Beck and Co. His rhetoric and antics seem so bizarre to me that I really did question whether people actually take him serious. But apparently they do....okee dokee then! Everyone is entitled to their opinion....IMHO...lol
Enjoyful...lovely picture
