Oh covert -- pleae don't give him any ideas! The self-described rodeo clown may just run with it!
...and then he'll say "But don't just believe me -- do your own research". Sort of like telling folks not to think of a pink elephant......
-
Linda, and then all over the internet certain sites will be running with the story,
which unfortunately will be seen as research.
-
Me too.....oh wait, not my dogs. I have 2 bumps on my head. Could it be. Am I a Martian disguised as a Canadian.
-
Medigal, Happy Anniversary!!! May you and DP have another 50 years!! Well, maybe that wouldn't be so hot. But many more anyway!
-
I am not taking any chances. I am taking my two cats to the vet tomorrow. Oh no! What if the vet is also a Martian? What if Martians also impregnated Stephan Harper's great-grandmother, and in Canada it is the cats that we have to watch out for???
Medigal, Congratulations!! 50 years! That is wonderful!
-
Medigal .. WOW! Congrats on your 50th anniversary! Hope you enjoy your dinner out tonight and have lots of fun.
hugs,
Bren

Seriously...Glenn Beck?? Well then...that explains alot! Does he fund The Weekly world News rag too? Just asking' cause they always big alien headlines too. Do people really take Beck, Limbaugh et al seriously? Do people really believe that stuff? You guys are just pulling my "Canadian" leg aren't you!
BTW, please keep me informed in case I need to get my dogs checked too.
Beth -
Medigal, congratulations, Happy Anniversary! I hope you have something really special for dinner.
-
Reds in my bed!!!!! Yikes!!! Attention America - we are being invaded by The Enemy!!!
-
Our problem is not some enemy who is outsmarting us at every turn with some super secret plot to turn us all into communists, socialists, Muslims, aliens from outer space, or whoever the bad guy of the day is.
We are transitioning into a global economy. And IMO we have done some stupid things like sending all of our manufacturing capability overseas. With that went good jobs and the middle class is disappearing as a result. That cheap labor in other countries is also gaining buying power from the jobs that used to be ours ... thus we are no longer necessarily needed as the world's 'consumers' either. So those who have things to sell are not dependent upon us either ... they can make money without us.
Our problem that needs to be solved is getting things back into balance so it works for all the citizens of this country. The middle class is the goose that laid the golden egg ... kill it and we are all going to be worse off.
I do not have my head in the sand. I'm sure there are all kinds of fringe groups who would love to take advantage of the situation for reasons of their own.
But neither do I intend to let my attention be manipulated onto them. They are not the 'problem' and you could kill off each and every one of them and our real problems will still remain the same.
-
Medigal, relax. Can't you see its all done to get you people into a frenzy. The Boogie Man isn't coming after the good old USA. The Country will recover, but first the people must come together. Ever heard of the statement, Divide and Conquer? That's what's happening. I have never seen a people so divided.
-
Well cr*p! I just went back and read and now I have to haul my dog and the cats to the vet too
And blue ... well, we already knew she had those antenna things ... but I think she's a nice alien and not an evil one.
I could be wrong though ... ummmm ... have to think about that one some more.
-
Geez, I THOUGHT Joe McCarthy was dead but no I see he lives on in the souls of so many Americans so sad turning the clock back fifty-some years and wondering why the U.S. is having so many problems - honestly people get a grip and try to help your neighbours through these tough times instead of blaming them and the bogeyman for everything.
Have to go get the dog checked out now - she does act like a Martian at times.
-
I used to be a zombie, now I'm a Martian! I have to go get my pooches checked, but after dinner.....maybe! Its pasta night!!!!!!!!!!
-
I don't have pets, so....off to ER to get checked for Martian bacteria - which by the way cause breast cancer besides destroying the United States.
-
P.S. Happy Anniversary Medipal. Have a good one!
-
Just wanted to share a couple of sites that always give me laughs. The first is described as "A look into the exciting lives of the people who live in your catalogs."
The second is similar, by the same author and modeled on shelter or "home" magazines.
-
So Beck isn't sure but the Japanese disaster may signal the end of the world. Just in case it isn't we better be watching out for the Communists? I'm really confused now - I thought we were just supposed to be afraid of people who looked or dressed different. Now you're telling me that we're supposed to be afraid of people who look like me? How will I ever be able to spot them? Are they the same ones stealing our water? Oh no, that's not them, they look different. You all are scaring me to death. My dog is only 4 pounds. I really don't think she can do much damage.
-
-
Blue! ROFL! That is just priceless!
Athena, I think you should go immediately to check for Martian bacteria.
-
Blue - oooooh -that belongs in KKs thread.
Alpal: at this point we should call on Beck to form a commune and take us with him. Just like Charles Manson and David Koresh. Beck is Our Savior. He will deliver us from evil.
Mary: an ambulance is on its way to take me to the ER. (Very Solemn Face)
-
This is weird. I was just chewing on my pinky finger. Maybe I should stop wearing my gladiator outfit and unscrew the broom from my head - it has crappy reception anyway.
-
Communists, Socialists, Martians, oh my! Communists, Socialists, Martians, oh my!
Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore.
I really do not want tomake light of anyone's fears but if you look around at who is curbing liberties at the state level, it is the Republicans. Are they then the ones in league with the Communists?
-
Logic dictates. Wonder why they have all this "stuff" readily available for the fear mongering,
-
Munchkin said to tell y'all that CATS are from Mars, DOGS are from PLUTO.
Sandy
-
Whewwww.....Thanks Sandy. My dogs should be safe.
-
Oh dear. I heard that Plutonians are even nastier than Martians -- and watch out that they're not carrying around a little "plutonium" hidden in their little cat collars.
-
The sky is falling! The sky is falling!!!!!
Yawn.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
BTW. The Cats are from Kentucky! Go Big Blue Nation!
-
C A T S - Cats Cats Cats!
-
Vet says cats are fine....whew! I hope I can trust the vet? Should I ask for his birth certificate?
