ooooops. wasn't even to the end of the thread. LOL
welcome newbies, Jancie & Kara.......
we love your enthusiasm Kara, just a word of warning, tho, most of us don't share it. LOL.
You can be our head cheerleader. We need someone who still cares.
More concern for Barbe........... who can call her??
xx00xx00xx

like maybe some really efficent techniques for cleaning (when absolutely necessary), you know things that do more than one thing at a time.....
Welcome to newbies! I think there are a few threads for recipes..I'll try to find them. I know there is one for crock pots, one for easy fast when the kids are starving recipes, one for all natural/good food cooking and I'm sure some others. I'll see if I can track them down again.
Hugs to all.
-
Sorry I missed welcoming you Janice........I plead chemo brain.........ha, actually no brain.
I'm getting really concerned about Barbe.......her absence is NOT what we are used to.
Elaine, yes, there are recipe threads.........not sure where though. I sure wouldn't mind some useful cleaning techniques........like you mean to say you can do ONE thing and it looks like you've done more? Heck, I'm all for that.

Welcome Janice and Kara. Prayers to Lottie today for her surgery and for Barbe tand Arnie that they are still on the up with recovery. Coonie, I loved the Peace card. So pretty and the words are so great. Yay party for Deb tomorrow-great news that you are done with Rads. Elaine, hope that you are feeling better as well. Linda-love your new pic too. Friends are the best. Mine just sent me a great big basket from Wolferman's. If you look it up online you can find it. It was filled with all types of English muffins (even chocolate chip!) and jellies and coffees. Yummy! Guess that I will put off that diet until tomorrow. A recipe exchange would be great, but I am with Linda. Most of my diet consists of take-out. LOL Went to the plastic surgeon today. The drain is still in. Two weeks and still at 65cc. But everything else is mending well. It really sucks going down this road again, but I know I have to take one day at a time. I feel like I am back to square one, but my doctor keeps reminding me that square one was my original mastectomy. After all, this was my choice, right?! I know that things will sort themselves out. At least, I will be ready and able to work in September at school. (Hopefully) Don't want to think about the end of the summer though. Although I know you ladies are all anxious to send your kiddies back into the classroom. Well, going out to celebrate my baby's 14 birthday. Can't believe it. Have a good night!
-
Faith, yep tomorrow is my last day! I cannot wait...wooooohoooooooooo!!!!!
-
Wooohoooo Deb! So glad you will be finished with rads. xoxo
-
Deb,
A public WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO for you too!
-
Deb...so happy for you!!!
to the newbies...
and... to all you oldie but goodies.... have a blessed evening!!! (((((((((((((hugs))))))))))
-
Oh DEB.............betcha can't wait for rads to be finished!!!!!!!!! It is truly a momentous occassion. I remember it well. They wangled appts so I could be done before Christmas the year of my tx. Otherwise I'd have got 2 inbetween Christmas and New Years. POOP on that.
CarolMarie............from what my surgeon said.........sometimes if the drains are in a while your body can start to try to reject them which in itself can cause fluid. Like an allergic reaction so to speak. It seems each surgeon has his/her own way of doing things. Now having said that.........I had to have fluid aspirated 2 (maybe 3 can't remember) times.
Gentle hugs to all.

ARNIE!!!!!!!!!!! HI

Deb,
When the Sept rads group each finished their rads, NancyD sent us each a cocktail. She was a great bartender. NancyD?? Are you out there? Deb needs a 'end of rads cocktail"!

Another wooooohooooooooooot for Deb. Girl...........you deserve a break today.....maybe not at McDonalds, but you definitely deserve a break:) So glad tomorrow is your last round. Couldn't have come at a better time, huh? What's up for you next? Are you done? Do you have to take meds now?
Jancie.........welcome to our group. You'll love it here. We will do ANYTHING to get out of cleaning house. But I really do think most of our houses stay pretty clean. We'd much rather chat than clean though. So glad you could join us. Please make yourself right at home.
Ya'll, I'm really concerned about Barbe. I don't think she's ever gone this long unless she was out of town. Does ANYBODY know how to get in touch with her? She's had such horrible problems lately. (((((((((((((Barbe))))))))))))) please check in if you can. We're thinking about you and worried too.
Mom's been gone way too long too. I think you need to call her again Deb and tell her it's time for the company to leave. Mom has another family she needs to take care of.........LOL
Arnie, it's so good to see your post. I hope you're feeling better?
Yeah......we need NancyD here. She's got a beautiful avatar and seems so sweet. I think we should party for the rest of the week on behalf of Deb finishing rads.
Hope everyone has a wondermous night.
-
Deb,
Here either a big red box or a pic of a drink that NancyD sent to one of our group at the end of rads. This ones for you!
-
Thanks Ladies, so kind. Who is Barbe and I hope you find her. STOP AT THIS VERY SECOND!!!
We really must clean something. You don't have to move at all. Look behind the computer screen in front of you. covered with dust right, grab the napkin that your drink is sitting on and wipe it moving the screen gently as not to pull your lifeline (cords) out wipe the back top and sides as well, then blow on your keyboard. Ok good job. New lesson later:)
Have a lovely day
Kara

Hahaha, morning Kara. I swiffered around the table yesterday and actually turned my keyboard upside down and shook. I really love your cleaning approach. Perhaps I'm more of a housekeeper than I thought. Actually we had company visit twice yesterday so I did a whirlwind tidy up.
Barbe had a kidney stone removed.................she was running in to a little problem and I don't think she posted at all yesterday which is very unusual for her.
Hugs to all.
-
Linda, don't those flames burn off all the alcohol
Quite an exotic looking cocktail though.
Deb............today is YOUR day. Good luck.
(Edit for spelling.........)

Ok Kara I have a serious question for you. I've always cleaned my kitchen cabinets with just plain ole water. They're oak. Is there a gentle cleanser that I can use that wouldn't harm the wood? I also use q-tips to get in the little curves, etc., and it is such a PAIN!! Any suggestions on cleaning wood cabinet doors sure would come in handy. Thanks!!
Bunnies , please don't boot me off the thread. I HAVE to clean my cabinets. They're driving me crazy. Did baseboards yesterday and I feel so much better. Next I need to do blinds.
Sorry........after this, I won't do it anymore......LOL
