Crap Barbe!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry to hear about this setback. It really sucks! The disappointment about the shower will be more yours than hers. All will understand for sure. Gentle hugs.
-
Sorry Barbe-rest up. And don't rush back to work. It is horrible that you have to miss your daughter in law's shower, but just think you can maybe plan a special one on one day with her when you are feeling better. You better take time for yourself to recuperate.
Arnie, didn't know that you weren't feeling well. I hope that you are feeling a bit better as I post now.
Hugs and prayers for a speedy recovery to both of you.
-
Hey Barbe...........what were some of the games you and Linda were talking about on here the oter day? If you don't feel like "thinking" I can read back a few pages. And also, do you go to a game website to get games?? Can't you tell I'm a dork. Thanks
-
((((Barbe))))) So sorry to hear of this setback!......DRAT that MICK!....Is this some form of revenge from him?.....Are they going to put the stent back in or leave it out?......If I were you I would rather they leave it out if possible but if I really really needed it that bad then put it back in........I wish I were at your house so I could wrap you in gentle hugs and make it all better again!.....
Coonie did I ever tell you I used to have a "pet" raccoon at hte apartments I lived in in Atlanta?.....I called him Rocky and fed him table scraps...Unfortunately the neighbors didn't like him and had animal control come and take him away.......He was a cutie!.....
Arnie, hope you are feeling much much better...Please call me when you feel up to it.....
Kbug and LM so good to see you both!........I have missed you, Kbug...I don't go into chat as often as I once did......It just doesn't seem the same.....
have a great night all.......Pleasant dreams and prayers for strength and good health for us all......
-
Yikes!!!! Barb. That sounds so painful sure hope you have no more setbacks. Take it easy for a few days.
Arnie, rest, rest ,rest. Will be thinking of you and sending good vibes your way.
My son brought home 4 baby kittens who's mother was hit by a car today. They are so cute but tinny and we have been feeding them with a medicine dropper. Don't know how old they are but not very because 2 of them don't have their eyes open yet. Will try to nurse them through the weekend and take them to Adopt-A-Pet on Monday. That is if I can get the kids and DH, who is a cat lover, to let me take them.I like cats but am very allergic and have been sneezing my head off. It would be ok if they were outside animals but these babies are just to small for that. So will suffer the stuffy head and tearing eyes until I can get them to a safe place.
Night ladies, think I am on 4am kitty feeding detail. -
Any one hear from Mom????? I am worried!!!
Hey Barbe. Sorry about your setback. Arnie feel better!!! Prayers for all of you!!
-
Lovin, mom has a house full of guests, she`s playing Martha Stewart this week. I hope we get some pix from all that action!
Thanks for the good wishes guys. I`m taking 3 Demerol every 3 hours. I`m giving it until my next dose at 7 am and then I`ll wait about 2 hours. If it doesn`t ease off I gotta go back....sigh.
-
Hoping the pain eases Barbe! (((hugs)))
-
I am more comfortable now that I got on top of the pain and after taking yet another 3 Demerol at 7 am, I found at 10 that I only needed one. Now it`s time for my next one. I`m hoping I can just run it this way.
-
Good for you Barb! So happy to hear you are on the mend.
-
Glad you've got the pain controlled Barbe...........but how about the 'voiding' issue? Gosh, we sure do take the supposedly simplest of tasks for granted. I'm pacing my housework duties in your honour.
-
The voiding issue was because the stent had slipped and kept all the gates wide open so it was just a constant flow. Now that the stent is out, I can control myself....for now.
-
Glad to hear Mick is dead and gone and the flow is better.........Hugs Barbe!.....
-
Mick? Does that mean that I have him now?
-
Barbe really glad to hear that you have got on top of the pain and that the flow is under your control. Hope it continues to improve.
-
Good Sunday afternoon to all you bunnies! Hope your weekend has been a good one.
Mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're needed back on the thread PULEEEEEZEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aren't you tired of playing Martha Stewart by now? Don't you miss us? You've got some sick kids on here. You can't just go off and leave us like this.....LOL (Hope you're having a great time)
Big hugs for all of you dealing with treatment, surgery or sickness.
(((((((((((Lottie)))))))))))) will be thinking about you tomorrow. Praying your surgery goes well! Let us know how it goes, ok?
((((((((((Arnie))))))))))) please get better soon. We miss you!!
(((((((((((MaryRose)))))))))))) hope you're feeling better!!
((((((((((Jayne)))))))))))))))) It's always good to hear from you. You seem to be doing pretty good, huh?
(((((((((((((Deb))))))))))))) Are ya about done? Hope you're feeling better too.
((((((((((((Barbe))))))))))) Getting rid of Mick was hard, huh? I know you aren't missing him though?
(((((((((((Dream)))))))))) hugs to you too!!
((((((((((((CAROLMARIE))))))))))))) hoping you're feeling better.
((((((((((((((Lursa)))))))))))) missing you alot!!! Wish you would let us know how you're doing girl!!
((((((((((((((Shiny))))))))))) I saw a birds nest this week in one of my bushes and thought about you and your kiddos. No eggs in it yet, but maybe they're not done working on the nest. Must be an OCD mom ......hehe. But it actually looks like a very sturdy nest, so I'm not sure what's up with that. If I see some eggs soon, I'll try to take pics.
BKC.....sounds like you're gonna have just a good ole animal shelter there....baby kittens, baby puppies.......I bet the girls are tickled pink.
(((((((((((((((((Kathleen)))))))))))) still getting out of the hospital on the 29th?? Hope you're back keeping house with us soon.

Just to let you all know...We lost Ozzie2 on July 23rd.......I will miss her so much!......When will we ever find a cure?????..........
-
So sorry to hear about Ozzie2. I hope we find a cure soon. My thoughts and prayers are going out to her family.
-
We've had a big couple a' days up here in happy-town.
Since we went down south for church this morning, we just kept going & made it into the big city: had a chance for groceries in the big store, Walmart (Shiny & Coonie, settle down) my favorite salad at Culver's -- with all of the strawberries & pecans & the other goodies and stayed for a movie, too.
I'm pages behind.
Barbe -- you've really been put thru the wringer. So Sorry. Hoping that time brings your recovery forward.... and that you're better all the time. Stay on top of that pain, sweetie.
Deb -- it sounds like there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Thank heavens that this latest ordeal is concluding this week.
Lottie -- welcome. We'll all have you in our prayers tomorrow.
Arnie -- saying prayers for you, for sure.
Another loss for our cyber family, with Ozzie2's passing. Thank you for keeping us updated, Lucy. Profound hugs to her family & those who were close to her.
It's a good thing Coonie can make the 'long' list...... that way we all know who we're forgetting.
Vivvy. I'm singling you out for special hugs & giggles -- since you're so far away.
Everybody take very good care of yourself.

-
Faithie!!!!!!!!! You went to Walmart??!!! Wasn't it great? Did you buy something other than groceries? Like a house plant or something?
Linda......love your new avatar. Who's the other beauty with you?
-
Coonie,
That's one of my best and oldest friends. We spent the day at the beach together yesterday. It was sooooo ice.
I need a trip to Walmart too. See you there!
-
Well I am going to Walmart (Wally World) tomorrow myself to grocery shop and of course I get stuff besides groceries too.....Can't help myself.........
Coonie you and your BFF look like sisters!.........Love the banana-wearing cow!.......Atr first I thought it was swinging its udders and then noticed the udders under the bananas.....LOL
To all my dust bunny, housework slackers, I wish you all a good night and pleasant dreams.........Footprintsangel if you read this I especially hope you get some much neede sleep.......
-
Lucy..........that's Linda and her BFF.......and they do look like sisters, don't they?
