Cleaning tip for Cabinets, Keep a bottle of dish detergent (dawn apple smells good ) and wter in a spray bottle useit on cabinets, glass, mirrors, counters computer toilet etc. What ever you want. Keep it hooked to your pants and spray it when you need it. It cleans and sanitizes and never leaves streaks. So have fun.. No fancy stuff the corners with the q-tips is about all I have for you too.
Have a great nights sleep. How can we start a recipe thread, especially fun holiday ones for when summer is over. I love the holidays.
Another tip, use a pumice stone from the dollar store to get rid of the lime scale ines in the toilet. Just scrub and flush. Looks brand new. sorry gotta clean now.

I am here, and I read every post!
Mary, SO glad this treatment is, well...treating you better!!
Deb, so FRIGGIN glad the bun is now out of the oven! How much longer could it go cooking, really!?
Mak, can you hear me NOW? Is your theme song for the Housework thread "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"?
Arnie, thanks for calling DH, I didn't mean to worry anyone, but it was REALLY bad. I was SCARED! Black pee or total blood, which is the lesser of two evils coming out of your kidney? They figure the pain has been blood clots still passsing through the ureter.
I'm thinking I have a good chance to get out tomorrow, but am wondering what pain relief goes home with me? I mean, 10 mgs of Morphine every 3 hours with Torredol for breakthrough pain. Not 4 hours, 3 hours! I felt like I was about to explode with the pain and wondered at what point do I start screaming while I still can? Or would I just pass out? Or please God, let me pass out! I don't know how they will wean me off the pain meds, but they are illegal to drive with. I have Demerol which I can take 150 mgs every 3 hours and still drive, but hey, can you spell constipated? Now I have to deal with THAT!
I have had my strongest sales in 2 years this month, so I can rest easy in that sense, but feel very vulnerable in the sense that I am using up benefits and sick days. That is one of my urgencies to get back to work, but I can't drive the hour down, work 8 hours in high pressure and then drive an hour back wondering when the pain will hit.......
Thanks for all your good wishes and prayers, my soul savoured each one.
-
I'd be interested in a recipe thread, too. I just got a great low-cal recipe for a creamsicle-like pie from someone on facebook. It looks easy and yummy.
Edited to add - how about that, I pulled that pic off my facebook
-
Do you think I could use a cleaning wand attached to a air compresser so I wouldn't have to get up from the sofa..Just spray the dirt away from there LOL I am just so tired lately!!!
-
Barb, you've been through a lot! How can you worry about getting back to work. You need to worry about Barb, get lots of rest, pee and poop, and rest some more!! Take care my friend!
-
Rite here! hahahha I posted this on a few other threads then realized not all of you are on there...I went to my last rad today...the girls kept texting me and asking questions I knew something was up..they even asked where I got my rads at...turns out one of them drove around the hospital to decorate my car but couldn't find it...then I'm driving home, I see a sign at the main entrance of our subdivision saying Debbie Caudill kicked Cancers Butt! Then at the top of my street another one says Way to go Gigi.....then i pull up and this is what my house looked like:
-
oh and by girls I mean my middle daughter and oldest stepdaughter
-
Ah crap Deb, you made me cry again! So moving....and then they cleaned it up for you, too!
Linda, I TRY not to be a martyr, but remember, I'm the one who pays the mortgage! I get paid on delivery, not sales, so I'se the one that's gotsta be there! See how I soften it all by talking babytalk?
-
Oh, to add, I do have two life insurance policies so there won't be too much guilt when I die. I just want to see the kitchen remodelled! How shallow is that? No, wait, it's for ME! Just me!
-
Barbe..... having goals is what keeps us moving forward. So glad to see you posting. Hopefully, you've turned a corner and are on the ground to gaining more of your 'Barbe-i-ness' back.
Just want you all to know that the next 10 days are a HU-MON-GOUS road trip. We leave before dawn tomorrow for Denver -- gotta go hug our newest grandson out there. Then on to Kansas City where I get to speak at a wondermous event -- doin' the KEYNOTE!! Then on to OH.
Not that I intend to fall from the face of the earth..... and now that I have my bat-phone, hopefully I can stay sorta connected, but I just don't want anyone to worry. I'm more addicted than mom, so I'll be around. (Where is that gal???? MISS YOU!)
Wishing everyone encouragement as you move forward.
One more congrats to Deb. Thanks for sharing the enthusiasm of your family. How fitting.
xx00xx00xx
Won't even attempt the long-list approach, but know that I have you all in my heart.
Now to the serious packing!!
-
I am happy to see Barbe back although I don't know her just to know the pain of kidney stones and that you are doing better with meds is wonderful news. Glad some of you were able to clear your desks and loved the idea of moving the computer to each room. I would love to take mine to the bathroom a few days after chemo. I hope you all have a slacker kind of day, I must clean to support world peace. Check in later.
Kara

Hugs for all my slacker friends. Barbe, let's pray that pain goes away real soon.
Back in the days when I used to heavy duty cleaning, Krud Kutter was a good product to use. Took off those nasties on the side of the stove where stuff dripped down and all kinds of bathroom dirt, scum. When I got ready to sell my house, I hired a professional crew to clean and they LOVED Krud Kutter. Can be used on most anything, including wooden cabinets. And for the car wheel covers to get them shiny ( good job for the males in your household ).
I friend of mine told me she has never vacuumed in her entire life. Her husb loves to do it.... I am continuing to slack off today. Maybe one load of laundry later as I get ready for Pinkstock this weekend. Time go get ready for bridge group. HUGS for all, Nancy

Barb, I know you got to work, but I really want t you to take care of yourself. It's so much pressure to be under, to pay the mortgage, all the bills, AND a new kitchen! You need to get Barb better so you can enjoy that new kitchen.
GOOD MORNING!!
-
Okay! I'll let the kitchen go......
Of course the upcoming wedding with a 2-night stay in a hotel isn't helping.....
Ah stress, the mother of all emotions!
(Actually it's stress that makes me such a good salesperson. I really come through when I sell, not desparate.....)
