My Bff has red hair and I have brown hair. I do think we look alike in that pic, but we really don't.
Lucy, my Wallyworld does not have a full grocery store in it. It has about 4 isles of food but no produce, meat etc. Some day I hope they put a grocery store in it. Have fun tomorrow!
-
Hey ladies,
Still on Kitty patrol but they are eating now. WHoooo Hooooo!!!!! Glad when tomorrow comes though. we are all getting waaaaay to attached and I am sneezing my head off. One more day and we may end up with 4 more permanant borders.
Girls went to a swim party today and as luck would have it Felicity thought she could hang with the big kids at the deep end of the pool. As soon as she went under I was in the pool fully dressed. spent about an hour lying in the sun to dry my clothes with everyone laughing and calling me super mom. Most of them thought I was nuts I'm sure. Oh well she's safe and I got to take a dip so alls well.
-
LOL sorry Coonie!..I meant to say Linda but said your name instead...Thanks for correcting me.....Sad thing is I can't even claim chemo brain!......Of course some say Arimidex is a type of chemo (not me) so I guess that would count?.....LOL
OMG bkc!....She sounds like my dd when she was that age!......I can't remember how many times I had to get mine out of the water .............Hope you enjoyed the dip though!.....What do the kitties look like?.....I have 3 so I could not possibly take any more but i do love kitties......
-
Fly by Night Night to all. Hugs, Nancy
-
BKC,
Would love to have one of your kittens but......
DH has said I have to choose between home renovations and a cat. Had my previous cat 18 years before he died. Anyway how would I get the cat to the future??
Hugs to all
Viv

bkc, I've done that a few times too. Never for my own kids though, it was always other peoples kids at my pool.
Where are all the housework slackers this morning??
-
Good morning Markaz!........Slacker reporting for off duty!......I am gettting ready to go to Walmart and grocery shop.......FUN........I did not sleep well last night so I am a bit grumpy today.....Please give me patience with the cashiers at Wally World today........They are all very nice but sometimes slow........Not their fault considering they have to bag using the carousel thingy to bag on........Ok i have rambled enough...All my fellow slackers have a great day and I will be back later.........
-
I am so sorry to read about losing Ozzie. We have surely lost too many sisters recently to this disease.
-
House work slacker reporting in and I actually have stuff to do but instead I am on here..lol.. I realized yesterday that my son has ran out of shorts so it's time to do more laundry. I have 10 days until my surgery and then later in Aug. my MIL is coming up for a visit so I need to get organizing and putting stuff away. 30 things, 30 things...... Oh and the dishes are all over the counter....eeewweee..
IT'S time!!!
-
Good morning bunnies. Garfield expresses the way I feel today.
Hope you all have a wondermous Monday!!
((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs to all))))))))))))))))
-
Good morning dust bunnies. I had to clean a little over the weekend since MIL and SILs were here on Saturday. That should hold the house for a couple of weeks! DD's ride to her summer classes at the community college (helps keep a lid on the cost of that private college she goes to Sept to June) slept in, so I got to play chauffer. I started a couple of loads of laundry and got my mile walk in already.
I had an early morning run to Wal-Mart yesterday to buy the sale laptop for DH, so now I can get my laptop back from him, I'm no longer chained to the desk in the corner with the dogs fighting through my legs. He's very happy and so am I.
Hope everyone who's been having issues turns the corner this week.
-
It's sunny for the 3rd day in a row!!!! I am NOT doing housework today. Hehehe, what else is new?
-
good morning dears...Barbe- I am so sorry for all this nonsense! gentle hugs and kick ass (or Mick) prayers for you. Funny how we get excited about the smallest things these days. BC sure changes one's point of view.
I can not remember anything that I just read
, too much to get caught up on I guess. Ok then...hugs and prayers to any one on treatment, having or recoverying from surgery or procedures, Yipey and celebrations for anyone finishing treatment, prayers for Ozzie2's family. And know that I think of everyone and hope today is a really good day.
-
I am off to ÅAA to get maps for the trip to Pinkstock this weekend. Check washer fluid, otherwise the car is road ready since tune up and maintenance couple of weeks ago. I might have to stop at Wally world to check on summer sales... isn't it time for the winter stuff to show up??? LOL
-
It's good to see you Elaine. I was thinking about you. I don't think I've seen any of your post lately. You feeling ok?
Nancy.......hope you have a great time at Pinkstock! Safe travels!!!
Anyone seen Barbe? It's not like her to be so quiet. Sure hope she's doing ok.
-
Thanks for your concern Coonie...was feeling kind of icky. When the weather gets hot and muggy, or if there is a big change in the weather my joints, bones and muscles get really cranky, and I feel not so good. Last week was not a great week. Hopefully last nights thunderstorm will help.
-
Hugs Elaine!! Hope this is a better week for you!!! Hang in there
I'm kinda feeling like you did last week, but it looks like we're gonna have some rain this week too, so maybe that will help me as well.....
Edit to add "Peace". Hopefully, this is what we can feel for our future.
-
I sure hope so sweetie! Its awful when it just goes on and on w/ no break and nothing really helps...hugs
maybe we can do a good weather dance?
Oh we posted at the same time...lovely words

HELLO EVERYONE
I AM NEW TO THIS GROUP so I wanted to say hello and see what it is all about. So you motivate each other to clean or console each other for not. Please give the run down so I can jump right in. Oh by the way I love to clean and organize and own a company that does that. I am a chef, mom of two, locted in Jacksonville fl, and find ways to make life easy and stay on top of all the stuff we have to do. I am always trying new products for home use too so I am happy to share. I have an emai list for buisness stuff but send out gret cleaning and cooking tips each month too. We off complimentary cleanings for women and families with devating diseases. Funny I offered that before I got this crappy thing.
Hugs and Blessings

Hi Kara.........welcome to the group. I think you'll find these ladies soooooo much fun!
We do suuport each other......but to be honest, most of the time we dream up ways to get OUT of doing housework:) LOL.........but I'm sure some of your ideas would be welcome just in case we got a spurt of energy to clean!! So join right in......make yourself at home. Be sure and save us as one of your "favorites".
-
There is no way I can go back and read 246 pages of this thread!
BUT.........in case it hasn't been mentioned before - I signed up for flylady.com which is a great site that tells you want you need to do on a daily basis. They send out a daily email and make it where the lists of things they give you to do are not time consuming nor overwhelming. They break it up into zones. This week it is the living room/dining room zone. Each day you are to do one or two tasks in that particular zone. I have been on their email list for a couple of weeks now and it sure has helped motivate me. They also give out chores for the kids. Last week the kids were to go through their art supplies and get rid of all of the broken crayons, etc.
My house is slowly getting decluttered. Now I need to call someone to pick up all of the clothes we haven't worn in 5 years. I just can't get my hubby on the same page - he likes to keep everything.
-
Welcome Kara, please feel free to drop by my house ANY time to 'show' me how to clean. I'd be SO greatful.
Nice to have you on board.
Elaine, sorry you've been feeling so yukky!!
Arnie? How are you getting along?
Gentle hugs to all.
-
A little worried. Sending out painfree vibes to Barbe.I hope she is okay.
-
Sending out vibes too. Barb?? Where are you? I hope you are resting comfortably!
-
Welcome to Kara and Jancie!! Remember the goal is NO housework!! LOL We have two new members- I'm assuming that means we get two weeks off from housework?!! Yippee!!
Headed up to the hospital today for my lab work. I'm hoping my hemoglobin is higher than last week or at least the same. I don't want to miss any treatments!!
Barbe- Hope you are doing okay, hon.
Hope EVERYBODY is doing okay!
I can't believe how normal I feel on Taxol. I know it will probably change, but right now....loving it!! -
Alright so the idea of the group is to avoid housework at all cost or get somebody to do it for you. Sounds fun and has anyone had any luck with the whole cleaning fairy coming to there house. Flylady is good but too many emails. I really do love to clean and I will suggest a great new product that some of you may use. Just started found it at Target, all natural and works on stainless, granite, baths etc. Watkins all purpose spray cleaner, about $3.5o a bottle and no streaks and actually sanitizes. Go get some and use it only when you have to or when you have relatives coming to town.
Have a quesion ask away, I love to clean everything and really love to cook. Any recipe threads??

Shelclaire welcome. A recipe thread would be a great idea.Especially if everyone contributes their absolute faves. Will put some more thought into that idea.
-
If we were to give out recipes on the housework thread, I think it would be for deliveries, i.e. pizza, chineese food etc.
JK, I love to cook too and would love to share recipes!
Welcome!!

Poppin' in and right back out again.
((((((((((((((((((((Elaine, Arnie, Barbe, Mary, Jayne, Deb, Carol, Shiny))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
and any & all in need of hugs and encouragement.
DEB: Tomorrow's Tuesday. Grand Finale Tuesday, right??
Lottie: prayers for your surgery today.
P.S. we bought a toaster @ WallMart, have never had one up here, so the $6.88 was a big investment. LOL.
I've actually been cleaning all afternoon. I invited one of the artists from last week's festival to spend the next couple of nights before her return to MI. Felt things should be spiffy for her.
AND I took my second Zumba class this morning!! Not nearly as frustrating. Kinda sorta have a bit of the hang of it. In the most remote sorta way. LOL. Stayed upright through out. What a workout.
Nancy. Safe travels to Pinkstock. Please greet all of our fellow sisters for us.
