Ladies, Goody has given me permission to share her address so we can send encouraging cards to her.....Please PM me if you would like it.........I am emailing all my email buddies from here..........
Shiny any milk chocolate that is only 1/2 cm thick will do...If it is too thick it won't melt properly from the hot marshmallow........
-
Smores YUM Chocolate, marshmallow, grahamcrakers and a fire.......how can it get any better
-
Hello everyone
Faith that certainly looks like a great place for a spot of tea. I can just imagine myself sitting there drinking a nice cup of Earl Grey.
Shiny we love the Greek Islands too and this year we had to cancel 2 holidays there because of my diagnosis. I'm not allowed to fly yet so we had no choice.
We are going away tomorrow for a short break in North Wales, no flying involved so I'm allowed to go. I must get to bed now so I'll say nite nite. Have a great weekend.
Hugs to you all.
-
I want some s'mores too! I love to make them with my kids. Of course the boys would rather catch the marshmellows on fire, by accident of course!
-
I got a bunch of clothes put away. Had to come and brag I decided while I was flapping my jaws on the phone to try and be productive. I only have to do it ummmmm...4 or 5 more times and all the clothes will be put away.
-
Jaimie,
That's the best way to do it! I sometimes do that and am half paying attention. Then the next day my DH will take out a pair of undies that are way too small for him.......ooppss! I put them in the wrong persons drawers!

Alright, alright... changed my name. Thanks Mom for the new one... lol. I do have Mr. Arnie's sense of humor I must warn everyone- haha. So no more Spawn of Arnie.... I hereby accept the name of Arnie Jr
Shiny, I also bookmarked the website you posted and will definitely have my son try it tomorrow. Thanks, and I hope you enjoy your first S'more experience!
PORCUPINE MEATBALLS?!?! Ooh, I sure hope you save some of those for me, mama! Love you:)
-
OK Arnie Jr. here is your official dust bunny welcome.
Ps have mama save me a few of those meatballs too, yummmmmm.
-
God, is it normal that the men in my house don't care that I had a mastectomy yesterday and everything is all over the place? And don't you just love when your husband has to create some ailment of his own to supercede what you are going through?!!!! Just venting........
-
(((((hugs Carolmarie))))) you can come vent with us. We care.
-
Boy, am I glad we women have this place to talk. I love the support from all of you. Still sore, so signing off for the night. Sweet dreams to all.
-
Carol hugs dear. Make sure you rest for if you clean they will make a mess again. Yes hubby's have to have a pain also . Now rest thats a order.
Susan
-
Carole, No matter what you have done, or how sick you are, you man will always be in worse shape than you. It's a guy thing.
I hope you are recovering and getting the rest you need. Who cares if the house is messy, it will all get cleaned someday. Perhaps we can send a housecleaner over?
-
You ladies crack me up with the animations. Where on earth do you find them all?
Have to admit I did a laundry load yesterday, one today and will do another tomorrow. So I guess the dusting will have to wait until Friday, or maybe Saturday. Sunday is always a no-work day.
-
Uh-oh Arnie Jr... lol You and mom will have to wait until the next time I make them...
Goodnight dustbunnies...soooooo tired!
-
Kids are finally in bed not asleep but in bed. We sat out and looked at the stars come out this evening and saw a shooting star. The girls both made fairy wishes and as I was tucking them in a while ago and saying prayers Felicity whispered in my ear, "Mommy my fairy wish is that you and your friends will all get long beautiful princess hair that goes down to your toes."
fyi-fairy wishes can only be shared if whispered very quietly or written on a secret note. So shhhhhh.
-
-
(whispering) BKC - that is so precious. Thanks for sharing.
-
Too cute, Jane.
Great idea.
Sending big hugs to each and all.

Good morning dusty buns. I'm so behind on this thread that if I stop to read all I've missed I'll have NO time for housework today. Oh gosh darnit.
Dusty hugs to all.

Arnie how in the world did you get in my house and get that picture of Mandy?????...That is exactly how she sleeps on my coffe table sometimes!.....Eerie!..........Hey!....Who gave you my recipe for porcupine meatballs?......That's a secret family recipe!.......Handed down from generation to generation......Yep, right on down from my great great great pappy Zeke from the deep dark hills of Eastern Kentucky.........Where everybody is related and you have to go 3 states over to find somebody you ain't related to to get hitched!....Yeeehaw!....LOL
Carol my dh did the same thing...When I had my hyster and ooph , he complained of his hemmorhoids 24/7......I swear sometimes men can be such BABIES!.......Gentle hugs and hope you feel good today........And no the men don't care unless they are OCD then they go overboard with the neat thing!....

Well, slacker chicks, I must go and get a little something done......Be back in an hour or two.......Don't start a party without me!.....
ANYBODY SEEN COONIE?????? Come out come out wherever you are!.........
-
Lucy, Coonie checked in briefly yesterday. "Apparently" she was busy doing stuff.
Maybe she had company over for dinner or something.
-
Anyway, it was a quick hello.....
-
Just wanted to check in before I leave on my long weekend. I need this sooooooo bad! It's my end of AC before Taxol getaway and I finally feel human enough to get out of here.
Welcome to Arnie Jr!
Prayers for all who need them!!
I have to admit I did a little cleaning this week. I had to. It was getting out of hand.
I am so excited. I'm getting a boob on Monday!! I have been putting off getting fitted for my prosthesis. When I finally called, they had moved it to a new shop and they were just getting set up. She called me yesterday and said they were finally ready, so I made an appt for Monday morning. This should be interesting. I will probably have recon in the winter, but my hospital won't do it while you are in active treatment. I'm ok with that, but I need a boob!! I can't imagine wearing this thing though. Still sensitive in that area and bras are so uncomfortable with my port. Every bra hits right where my port is. I hate where my BS put it. She says she put it there because then women can wear low cut tops. It made sense to me at the time when I had two boobs and was new to this BC thing. Now that I only have one boob- well...who's wearing low cut tops???? Not me!!
Anyway, I'm outta here!! Have a wonderful rest of the week ladies. I will be home on Sunday!
Hugs to all!
Mary

Have a great weekend Mary! You deserve it!!
-
Okay, sitting waiting for workman to come do work on my bathrooms and looking out filthy windows. So I did mix up some vinegar and water and cleaned them and will also do the patio door. Other than a load of laundry I promise that is all I will do today.
Oh no, forgot I also had to empty the bathrooms too this morning and ran the swiffer sweeper-vac over the floors. Wow, did a lot already and it's only 10:30 am. Better stop or won't have anything to not do tomorrow.
