Oh Lucy, I didn't do that but Big Brother did convince me to hold the spark plug on the mower so he could check to see if it was getting fire. Matter of fact he also had me check the electric fence to see if it was working to. Ok so I was a very gullible child. But they both worked.

    Ex-Lax OMG!

My brothers all 6 of them were pretty mean and full of mischief but never did that. Or at least they never admitted it anyway. But wouldn't put that past them. They did convince me to steal pears from the neighbors tree and left me behind when I got caught in the tree. But Mr. Adams knew what was up and let me sit on their porch and eat ice cream while my brothers peaked at me over the fence. I made loud noises just so they would know how good the ice cream was to.

lovinmomma what could a sweet poster like you be reported for?  Maybe there's a logical explanation for all the mix up.

Oh, poop, lovinmomma, why do you have to get re-ported??  More chemo??  Yuk.

You girls are all too funny tonight!   Gotta go -- doing laundry, only 'cause I can't go to work naked 'cause that's against the dress code!  Don't want to give them geriatric patients of mine heart failure!!

Thanks gals for all your warm wishes.  Home from  my prophylactic on my healthy breast.   It was definitely a lot easier this time, but the fear of surgery is always there.  It was a rough week with my friend passing away and in my preop tests thinking they saw something on my chest x-ray which led to a scan. Turned out it was a shadow of my implant.  God, the craziness never goes away.  But Thank you, thank you, thank  you for your support and prayers, as mine are always with you all.  Of course, I am milking the discomfort at home a bit to relax and have the other members kick in for at least a week.  LOL

PS-Mom2two(and anyone else) -Have you been watching Jillian on Bachelorette?  If so, whats your thoughts on that?

    Hello Ladies,

Thank you for the warm welcome to the thread. I felt that being somewhat of a smart-ass...oops...guy myself, i'd be able to post from time to time with you ladies.  Thank you for all the support and friendship you've given my Arnie. She feel like you are all family.

Well, it's been a long day and i'm about to watch the baseball all star game to relax for awhile. you all have a good night!

Carolmarie so glad to see you back on. Its so funny to know people on here and then have them just be gone and then back. I like being able to bring over the casserole and coming for a visit kind of thing. Sorry about your friend, that makes it extra hard.

As for Jillian, I just lost track of it somehow. The last time I saw it was some guy was coming back after taking off on her. So I am probably the worst person to ask.

So did they find any surprises on the prophylactic side?

Oh God, I hope no surprises.  Of course that is running in my mind.  My breast surgeon said it looked clear, but no one knows for sure until the final path report is in.  Just praying everything goes ok.

You all are simply out of control.  I think you need to do some housework and I know just the right place to start - my townhouse!  Since I'm having some bathroom work done on Thursday and will be home all day, you can all fly in Thursday morning, clean all 3 floors, and fly out Thursday evening just in time to not clean your own homes.  Sounds like a plan - yeah, I like that idea!

Welcome Mr-Arnie - I think.  Dunno, are you sure you know what you are getting yourself into here?  Just because your wonderful Arnie is warped doesn't mean you have to join her.  As a matter of fact I think you are joining this group because since she won't clean you have to do it.  But if you are both not cleaning whatever will become of your place?  What are you gonna do when you need clean socks!!!!  Methinks you should reconsider before thd dust bunnies take over.

    Welcome Mr. Arnie.

Now we have dusty buns, dust bunnies and a rooster to watch over the hen house..... sorry I had to mix metaphors there.

    Sending out another plea.

My buddy Saint has encountered yet another 'set-back' of sorts. She's been sent back to her 'cave' and ordered off-her-life for a while.

Time for another round of prayers, blessings, wishes & encouraging nonsense.

I posted brief updates on the Stage IV & also the prayer thread.

Thanks in advance to chiming in with your support.

We really are the best. We are very fortunate to have one another.

Hugs to all here in need of encouragement.

    Welcome Mr. Arnie.

Hugs and prayers going out to all you girls who need it. Saint, CaroleMarie,Deb and everyone else my brain wont let me remember right now.

Does anyone have any idea where those socks end up? Just bought the girls each 10 pairs of new socks and just put away two pairs. Now I have 18 socks that have no match! Next time they get all white and that's it!!!!!! I will dream of mountains of unmatched socks tonight I just know it.

BKC, I buy my boys the same socks. They have tons of hanes.  Hanes has the word hanes on the bottom in different colors, depending on their size.  My oldest sons are blue, the younger sons are green.  I just divide up by color and then bundle wo up.  It's easy.  I went through the all different kids and colors of socks and it just didn't work for me.  I'm guessing boys are easier than girls.  Good luck!

Uh oh, I think paring up of socks counts as housework!  Wash them, throw them in a drawer and let them land on whichever foot they hit first.  The boys actually usually don't care (or mine didn't at least).

My son never cared and still doesn't. But I have girls, little prissy girls, and everything MUST match or I spend an hour in the mornings listening to why there world is just not right and how embarrassing it is to have to face their friends. Ahhhhh, the sky is falling.

Actually my 4 year old could care less but the almost 6 year old cannot function if she doesn't look perfect. She can be quite a drama queen and will fall down as though her body has suddenly become boneless and cry and moan and put on such a show like you wouldn't believe. This also happens every afternoon when my little angel comes in and throws off her shoes and socks at the front door and is told to please put her things away. Her poor little body that was working just fine 5 minutes ago suddenly can't stretch enough to pick her things up from the floor.

That is why my precious little angel has been grounded from the TV for the last two weeks and must play outside in the evenings and get sweaty and dirty and smell awful every single day. Poor thing. The things she has to deal with. Oh my how will we ever get through the teen years?
