Oh it's so good to have another new member of the NO-Housekeeping group
Welcome Suzy
We're so glad you could join us!! We have a blast........the topics can change in a matter of seconds.....and believe me, it's hardly EVER about housekeeping ........LOL
Mom.......I've been praying for your DH. I hope he gets some answers soon.
Hey ya'll.............ARNIE'S BACK!!!! It's so good to see you Arnie....take it slow and easy girl. We want you back at 100%, so don't over-do yourself. Just rest and recover. My thoughts and prayers and big ole hugs are still with you!!!!!
MaryRose.........you too!!! I hope you're feeling ok this round. You need rest too. Just take it slow.....this too shall pass.
I got a PM from Lursa......I think she's having computer problems of some sort, so maybe she'll be able to join us again soon!!!!! I'm hope she will. We miss you Lursa!!!!
(((((((((((Kathleen)))))))))) I know you're in the hospital girl,, but if you just so happen to get your hands on a computer, please know that we're thinking about you and praying for a really quick recovery......and a complete recovery......from head to toe.....literally...........LOL
Missing you Shiny!!! I know you're busy taking care of those kiddos.........I thought about going to Walmart for us today.....you need anything? Just make me a list, ok?
Hey Linda..........still haven't gotten any of that rain you were gonna send me.......still hot....and I mean HOT ........ like 102 degrees HOT!!!!!
Nancy.......you sure get up early and get stuff done, don't you. I want to be like you when I grow up. I need to get trained to do that first thing in the morning. That way, I have no excuses for the rest of the day.
Oh Mom......tummy is better.....not completely 100%, but better. My DD thinks it's in my head. I'm beginning to wonder if it's a nervous stomach. 'Cause sometimes, when things happen, or I get a little apprehensive about something, the nausea comes on......I don't know.......it may be in my head......that's about all that's in my head......LOL
It's so good to see all the new gals. Forgive me if I didn't mention you. It'll take me awhile to get to know you.
Julz.......thanks for breakfast....it was yummo!
Sharon........I guess you're cleaning house, huh? You better stop!! I'm telling Mom on you!!
Deb.....any signs from the pervert? Crazy nut. Makes you wonder about people like that. I thought we were all safe here.......you just never know, do ya?
I hope Kathi was able to get the warning about him.
I hope the other Cathi is doing good too. Tummy problems and all.....
OK.......love all you bunnies.......hope you all have a fantabulous Friday!!!
-
Oooohhh Linda we've got some of your rain over here now! It is pouring down, more like the typical British summer day really. Well I won't have to water the tomatoes tonight. Much more of this and they will float away.
Mom keeping you and your DH in my prayers and hoping he gets answers soon. You certainly need that vacation.
-
OMG, I HAVE to get off my a$$! I just realized I've been sitting here for 2.5 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bye!
-
Morning ladies... just dragged my lazy booty out of bed....
Hope you all have a good day and just sit around all day eating your Bon Bons...
-
Good morning all you housekeeping slackers you!
I can't possibly catch up, but wanted to pop in and say that I feel SO MUCH BETTER today!!! I slept all day yesterday. Figured I wouldn't sleep a wink last night, but slept all night too and didn't wake up until 9 AM this morning. AC #3 kicked my butt! One more of those little devils to go and I hope the Taxol is easier.
No housework around here today. Well, maybe a load of laundry but that's it! Still in recovery mode. Yesterday it was 108 here. Today won't be much different. Think I'll stay inside.
I'm too far behind, but know that I am thinking about and praying for those who need it, including the hubbies.
And Suzie, welcome. I don't know how far into this you are, but I guess it's still new? You are in the sucky days. It will get better. I promise. We will get you through it. (((hugs)))
I, too, was very sad yesterday about Farrah and MJ. Farrah- such a gracious lady who fought her battle with such courage and dignity. I was really hoping for a miracle for her. And Michael- what can you say about Michael? Such a tortured soul, but such an amazing talent also. What a sad life. I was very sad yesterday about both of them.
Anyway, another "taking it easy" day around here. I'm a big scrapbooker and I think I will just spend the day in my craft room.
Hope everyone has a terrific Friday!!
-
Mary, glad to see you feeling better!
I have an announcement to make. I TRIED to vacuum. I got half the livingroom done and realized it wasn't sucking well. I have a very expensive Miele I got years ago. Anyway, I changed the bag and now it won't work! I guess I DON'T have to do housework after all!
-
Crap! I was telling my DH about the vacuum and when I pushed the start, it started! Stupid vaccum. I think it was just over-heated. Well, now I am too!
-
I gotta do that today too Barbe, with dog hair all over and a sweeper that barely picks up! I got mad once at the dog hair and went and bought a shop vac, but couldn't find the attachment to go with it..GRRRRRRRRR
-
Mary how about I send you the tons of pictures I have just stored away and you can take it easy with them too while you're at it. I'd love to have them all in those lovely, creative scrapbooks.
Laura hope your canniversary turned out better than you thought. And next year I hope you spend it treatment free and on a lovely beach somewhere looking at a beautiful sunrise.
Barbe, know what you mean, these boards can make the time pass very quickly without getting much done besides.
Thanks to all the rest of you gals for the prayers and thoughts for dh. He thinks he is feeling a little relief now when he takes the meds so thats a step in the right direction.
Coonie doubt its in your head just maybe your tummy is the vulnerable spot still from that bug you had.
Just got back home with DD#2 from her exercise class and now need to get back to finishing some of this housework. DD#1 is flying back home from the Dominican today but has to be on 3 different flights so won't arrive till 7pm. She said she felt like she had a cold or mayber allergies so I'm hoping she will feel better for her trip home today.
-
I thought I had 2 days until the weekend and then last night I was rudely reminded that it was Thurs...SHOCKED... So I have to move in OT time today to get somethings put away and pack for the weekend. I could let my babies pack but then they would have 12 of the same items. I don't like going away because I have to do all of the packing and getting things ready. My DH has NEVER packed for the kids and I can't stand doing it. Grrr... Off to pack and continue cleaning up.
-
Mary so glad you are feeling better. Definitely no housework for you though.
Jaimieh wishing you and your family have a wonderful weekend. I hope it improves once you have the packing out of the way.
Looking at my house I see that I really need to vacuum. I can see clumps of cat fur all over the place. One of the cats has just come in from the rain and shaken himself over me. Yeeuk!
-
I am still going with got the vacuum back but don't want to get it dirty. When I can't find the cat then I'll vacuum.
-
Ahem, did someone accuse me of doing housework today??
Not to worry..................I am basking in the cool air and have absolutely NO intention of doing anything that generates any heat. Let the hair balls do as they please.
-
-
Love that bunny
-
I THOUGHT about housework today - and I THOUGHT it was A BAD IDEA. So Alexcis and I are off to get pedicures @ 2PM, it's cloudy and rainy so what better to do.
-
Cathi i like the way you think.Enjoy your afternoon with Alexcis.
-
-
You guys are good don't know how to do that yet.
-
Jaimieh, what I've done is write a list of what the kids need to pack ie 5 pair socks, 2 long pants, 4 short sleeved shirts... and they have always been able to pack themselves.
-
Mary, Glad you feel better.
Suzie, ,maybe with some education, your dh will undrstand more of what your going through. We are very happy to help you.
Barb, I've done that before......just log on to chec ONE thing, then 2 hours later, your still on!
Glad to share the rain. It stopped here yesterday afternoon. It just downpured about an hour ago. Now we have very humid weather so here comes the thunderstorms!
Jaimie, have a GREAT weekend!
Cathi, keep up those bad thoughts!!
I'm off to Cape Cod first thing in the morning to celebrate my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. We are giving them a party. Jus my sibling and our kids, which is 26 people! It will be a load of fun! I'll miss you all!
-
Cape Cod sounds beautiful.Have fun and take some photos.
-
Cheryl~ I am going to try that but they are 4 and 6 and still can't match a thing but I think it will help teach them.
I am done packing ...whooo... Still doing laundry and I found a bunch more today.
-
Linda have a blast! We will miss you too!
-
Oh cool.......Cheryl, I love your new avatar!
And Mumayan.......yours too!!! You gals are getting creative:)
Linda.....hope you have a great weekend. Wow....50 years!!! That's really something to celebrate. Hope the weather is perfect for you. You deserve it after all the rain!!!
Big hugs to all the bunnies!!!!
I don't think I'm gonna vacuum either......especially since nobody else is.........I'll honor my fellow bunnies
-
Don't know what I have been thinking but tomorrow we are going to a family reunion that is being held here. It suddenly dawns on me that means 50 billion out of town relatives will be decending on our fair city tonight and tomorrow which means drop in visitors can be expected at any moment. Don't get me wrong I love having company, just need to muster up some real dust bunnie energy and get to it. (by the way the 50 billion relative thing might be a tad bit exaggerated
).
Sharon I love that bunny too. Think we could adopt that pic as our trademark.
Off to work I go.........
-
mumayan, I will be taking plenty of pics. Posting them is a challenge for me! I will do my best!!
Mom, have fun at your reunion.
Coonie, don't vacuum. Cathi tried that this week and her's caught fire. It is way to dangerous to do!
-
I think maybe I will do housework "tomorrow". Love the dust bunny because you know they are bunnies and bunnies are very cute.
