Hugs and GOOD thoughts and prayers for each of you and husbands, daughters, and family.

I composed and sent  a FAX to my congressman, took a nice leisurely walk and had 2 cups of coffee.  I was up early, but am still photo challenged or piping hot coffee would have been waiting for all of you.   I see a pile of bills next to the puter, so guess what I gonna do in a bit?

Coonie- So good to see you!! I hope you are headed home soon!

Arnie- You and Mr. Arnie are in my prayers today and always! Now that his doctor is back hopefully you will get answers and get him healed up!

Linda- Good luck at your onc appt. I just realized that I have no idea where you are at in your treatment. Prayers for you!

I am headed up to the hospital. This is a chemo week. I go today for labs, so just a brief visit to the cancer center. Tomorrow is chemo and Wednesday is the dreaded Neulasta shot, although I haven't really had any SE from it. I haven't lost a hair on my head yet, but that will change after tomorrow I'm sure.

Hugs to all you wonderful ladies!! It's gonna be a scorcher here!

    Barbe, you a re hilarious!

Arnie & Gary, I'm thinking of you today. Arnie, I hear what you're saying about being in "chemo fog" while Gary is in the hospital. Whatever you decide, let your family help you. This is one thing I am learning through this BC adventure. People who love me want to help and show their love. I'm learning to ask for and accept the help graciously. ((((Arnie)))

    Deb, good luck with rads!

TexasRose, good luck with treatment tomorrow. Keep us informed about the hair situation!

Mom, stop all this work; you're making me feel guilty for sitting in bed drinking coffee!

I have three days off work. Unfortunately, I've recovered enough from surgery that I can lift a laundry basket without pain. I'll be doing laundry today.

I was a little young when tab came out.  I was not allowed to drink soda until I was a teenager!  I think that is why I am making up for it now.  My mom still hates that I drink soda!!  I was allowed to have the homemade choc chip cookies.  Yummy!

Arnie!!!  I was just telling Julz it's homework time and I had to get off the computer.  Then I saw your name and had to read up on Gary, I mean Mr. Arnie.  So glad he is home with you again.  Let's keep it that way.  Lots and lots of rest, and absolutely NO HOUSEWORK or YARDWORK or WORK OF ANY KIND!

Gotta run and help the kiddies.  So glad to hear he's home!

    My Dear Ladies,

1st Let me say thank you again so much for the vibes and prayers. It was a very hard and very beautiful day yesterday. Dad would have been happy with how it all went. I still had tears blurting out of me this a.m, but mainly it`s as we just had so much to do and so many people to attend to(which we wanted to do, but it gives you not much place to deal). Anyhow, when I got up to read my Tribute which I got to writting at 5 a.m Canada time I managed to keep it together as I was so determined to do him proud and make sure each and every one of the people gathered knew without a shadow of a doubt what a kind brave and extraordinary man my Dad was to the end. I think I did o.k. I added verses from the POEM DESIDERATA and from THE Prophet by Kalhil Gibran which I felt best illustrated much of what he stood for and beleived in. God keep him at peace and pain free. xxx Thank you ladies for all your support.

Arnie, so sorry you have all this concern for your dear DH whilst going through your Chemo, God love you and keep you strong. Biggest hugg ever.

Coonie, oh Honey, Please get lots better soon!!! We need you girl! In the meantime, I WILL go to WALMART for both of us this week, what can I get you love..he he.

THANK YOU LADIES, DAD CAN SEE ME, am sure he is really pleased I have you all to"talk too".

Bless you, got to hand over the computer to my sista.

    xx Shiny

Hi ladies, finally a break. Kids are in bed watching Cinderella, Hubby is on a three day road trip to Louisiana, son is working out of town and I finally have some ME time. Prayers to everyone who needs it.Coonie,Arnie,Mr. Arnie,Shiny..... I'm sure I've missed someone.

Took my girls to a kids pool party on Saturday. Groan.... Have to keep an eagle eye on them because it was a full size pool complete with high diving board ,slide etc. and Felicity is a complete daredevil. Sure enough she crawled up onto the slide and slid off into 5 feet of water. Thank God I can swim. Then a bunch of older kids started throwing a kick ball at each other and you guessed it Porshalin got hit in the face. I got a little angry OK A LOT ANGRY and told the Dad in charge I would not have brought my girls if I had known the older kids would be so rough. OK SO THAT'S PUTTING IT NICELY! The Dad said he would not have invited my girls if he had known they were  going to be such babies. I was grabbing the girls things trying to get Porshalin to quit crying and The dad is up on the diving board bragging how he is such a great diver blaa blaa blaa....... He runs and jumps up in the air with his big belly hanging out comes down on the board, and you got it, the board broke and DAD OF THE YEAR does a huge belly flop into the pool! No injuries except maybe his pride.

Guess he can take part of that huge pay check he bragged about to everyone all day long and buy a new one.  Board that is.

We spent Sunday  mowing our yard and the little ladies down the street. She gave the girls rag dolls that she made.
