OK, I cannot even pretend to have read the past 15 pages of posts....that's what I get for staying offline, cleaning house, and doing yardwork. I hope you are all well. I am almost done with rads. Just 5 boosts left to the scar. woo hoo.. can't finish soon enough as far as I'm concerned. Thank chemistry for lidocaine cream!! My DS graduates from high school today!! I have not been fishing in forever....maybe soon. That's all the news from me.
Hugs to all of you. I feel like such a stranger!!

Welcome back Cali - You have been one busy woman - my butt is dragging - I see what has to be done but cannot get in gear!
-
Hi girls,
Never posted here before but just got this in an email and thought it might fit in here given the title to the thread!! Hugs, Traci
My Cleaning Poem
I asked the Lord to tell me Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering', And I had to answer 'yes.'
He told me to get off my fanny And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up... The smudges off my mouse.
I wiped and shined the topside. That really did the trick....
I was just admiring my work... I didn't mean to 'click.'
But click, I did, and oops I found ..my BC Sister
..site.
That I got SO way into. I was into it all night. <>
Nothing's changed except my mouse It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess... While I sit here on my hiney!!

Hey all.. I am glad I'm back...if only for a short break before i start my regular job again. I think in 2 weeks i'll be back to my regular full time schedule of 3 12 hr shifts. I am not sure I miss the work....but i DO miss the money!! Oh...I should tell you all.. My MOTHER is back at my house for the weekend, so she's banking hours and hours of housework for ME! LOL
Lori...thanks for the Homer Woo Hoo.. I LOVE the simpsons.
Linda... yes.. thank God i only have boosts left as this morning my skin officially started falling off and the Dr gave me Silvadene cream. BLECH!!!
Traci...That poem is very cute! Totally true!! Gotta love it.
Kathleen...I have those days too. My butt, which is especially jiggly these days due to lack of strenuous exercise, drags sometimes too!
Oh... my dad moved permanently to Omaha to live nearby me, and we joined the same gym, so now I officially have a workout partner as soon as my skin is healed enough to wear a bra.

Hi to all. I have been doing end of school year things with dd and about to jump into bed for a long nap or at least till I hear the first "MOM!" so that might mean 5 secs of rest.
Mary my heart is going out to you. When I have the really stinky, sick, bad migraines that's exactly how I am. Just can't get into a good sleep cause of the pain. So sending you (((((((hugs)))))))))))) and saying a prayer that sound sleep will come your way today.
Traci welcome aboard, this is a fun group of gals and we are glad you found us.

Hey ladies, Thank you for the prayers, Daddy died late last night. Found out today in the midst of play date 1 of 2. Not a second to proccess really yet. Kids in bed and trying to sort out if I will be able to go to Canada to hug my mom. (they were divorced, yet she was his main carer). Dad was just 72, and he'd suffered too much since becoming quadraplegic and then blind). I will miss his totally kind and supportive ways and his love of people. He really beleived in me and me in him and we never ended a phone call without re afirming this to each other. You are my 1st friends to know.
He was really pleased when I told him about this site and how rewarding It was finding it "connecting" with people on here.
Tribunal case management hearing went so so, but now have mega meeting with Local authority to "hash out" a working document (for DS's special educational needs tribunal) next week, yep, lots on. Feeling whooped but so grateful that I was blessed with such a dad and also that i do have ehat it takes to win this appeal for my son. Amen and praise the lord.
Hugs, healing vibes and all good things to you lovely ladies.. and where is Barbe??
xx Shiny
