I know.  I always get these things for each day of the week.  Some are hilarious.

    LOL on the blue dot.

Next is Freaky Friday.  I'm out of town till evening tomorrow so it's up to you to find us

something to ease any idea of doing "house work"

My job today was watering everything under the sun but had to hide from the H20 police.

I live in California and we are water use blabbing.  Un real.

    Hey Sahalie,

Where in CA do you live?  I'm going out to Concord, somewhere N/E of San Francisco to do alterations on the uniforms for the drum corps my son is marching in, Blue Devils.  It would be so fun to meet some of the wonderful women I have 'met' on these boards.  I will be there, in the state, until 6/29.  They have performances in Stamford, Stockton, Walnut, Riverside and Clovis,  I know they start in Concord (Walnut) for their first performance on the 20th then move south, then back north.  They end up south again, but I had to leave.  I really wanted to stay since they march at the Rose Bowl on July 4, but DH wanted me home.  Guess I can't blame him.

Anyway, if there would be anyway to get together, if you would even want to, let me know.  If there is anyone else in CA near these cities, I would love to try to meet with you.  I probably won't have access to a car to we would have to figure something out.

Hope everyone is having a great day.  It's very muggy, warm w/thunder showers here in Detroit.  We need the rain.  Planted 9 bushes Monday in front flower bed and did two loads of laundry yesterday.  Can't do any more laundry until I buy some soap.  Today managed to clean the foster kittens room.  Boy they can make a mess!

    Blessings,

    Wendy

Wowzers Wendy...sounds like you're gonna be busy for awhile:)  But a "good" kind of busy! Wish I was going to California with you. It's so beeeutiful there..

OK dust bunnies....at the beginning of Spring I posted a pic of my plants just popping out of the ground around my bird bath. Well, I looked at that pic again today, and just had to take another one. I just love to see things grow.....this is kind of a before and after....

I just had to post this one too. I've had a pretty stressful week so far, and this is just ONE of the reasons........Shiny, I was coming back from Walmart and started hearing this horrible noise. I thought I was having a flat tire. Pulled over, got out and looked.....didn't see a flat tire. Got back in, started driving again and the noise was still there. Thought then it must be the bottom falling out from underneath my car. Luckily, I was close to home. Made it to my driveway and as soon as I got out, I heard the air leaking from my back tire. This HUGE piece of steel was in my tire......sooooo, had to get new tires this week. But I'm blessed I wasn't too far from home:)

    Thanks Coonie and Arnie,

I am very calm about DAD, When you face things like what my Dad's had to put up with, it only re affirms how blessed I am for every moment and all the blessings I enjoy. I think I was born feeling grateful and beleiving and thank God that has never left me. I just know Dad could so do with some releif. Bless him.

Bless you Coonie, I bet you would be the "bestest kiddo looker after" person ever. My little guy would warm to you in a minute and play "this little piggy and tickle tickle games with you" and my little girl would charm you with her kind ways.. ya,oh that would be great! We could all go to Walmart together, then come back via ..Wendy's, and have lemonade in the garden, where you'd teach me all I don't know about how to tend for all my flowers! Bless, heaven!

Shiny BTW: re Housework, I am doing it, pretty much daily, as much as my feet allow!

Shiny - I will pray for your Dad.  Its so hard to see them get frail and old but it sounds like he is blessed with a very loving daughter.

Coonie-  Those flowers are amazing.  Our house sits on a little hill with woods in the back.  During the winter it is so barren and drab but come spring it is stunning.

I am trying to be diet compliant to get both my weight and blood sugar down.  So far, I have had 3,243 pieces of sugarless gum!

Linda how is your garden doing? I saw my first two tiny tomatoe's starting. I keep going out and just looking over my little garden. Can't believe I'm getting such a kick out of it. I finally had to quick buying plants and seeds though because the dirt was costing so much and then everytime I picked up a new plant that meant I had to buy a new pot to put it in. Next year I plan on tilling up a section of the yard and doing it right.

My dd was invited to a pool party yesterday at a classmates house. The little boy lived in a mansion on who knows how many acres of land. There was some kind of small lake in front of the house,  a water scape fountain right up to the house and then around back there was a pool with a built in hot tub. The inside of the house was beautiful too. Anyway they tell us that the pool is only 3 feet deep all around but the middle is 5ft so I let my daughter climb in and start playing but tell her to stay by the outer edges. She  isn't a great swimmer.  They have this huge life raft in the pool and it is piled with 2nd grade boys and they wind up pushing it into dd which pushes her into the deeper part and the raft starts to go on top of dd's head so she is now in danger of going under.  I start yelling for the little boy who is hosting the party to grab her which he thankfully has the sense to do,  the other kids are clueless and dd is trying to grab the raft as its trying to go over her. It all happened in a split second.  I can't imagine what would have happened if I hadn't been right there watching her. The other moms were sitting on the porch which didn't have a full view of the pool. No one else seemed to worry where or what the kids were doing much.  I would never let mine go to a pool party alone, ever.

Mom,  I know what you mean about pools.  I have an above ground pool that is 30 feet long by 15 feet wide.  It's pretty big.  My rule is no one is allowed in the pool unless I am on the pool deck.  I call it my prison, or hell sometimes.  Many days I have to spend hour after hour out there as all the kids swim.  I have had kids fall in and go under and have had to jump in fully dressed to  get them out. Accidents happen.....alot.  It drives me crazy to hear parents say that they can see the kids in the pool from the kitchen window, so they are ok.  NO WAY!!  Glad you were smart enough to keep an eye on her!

My garden is growing slowly.  I will not have tomatoes for another month or so.  Typically we don't plant until Memorial day, but I planted early this year.  Today the high temp was 49 with rain all day.  My plants are freezing!!  Glad yours are doing well!

Man mom...so glad you were there too!  I never had that experience with one of my own kids... but one time we had a overnight family get together at a hotel by Metro Airport.  My whole extended family was there.  We were sitting by the pool watching all of our kids play and I saw a little boy go under.  He came up once...and went under again, and then again.  The last time he went under he had such a look of horror on his face, that I jumped in clothes and all and dragged him to the side.  Come to find out, his mom and dad had gone to get some food and left him there alone.  He had swallowed alot of water and was fortunate their were some adults there.
