Mom, not sure if this link will work, but I am trying it. Let me know if you can see my pennant. If not, I give up!
-
I saw it Linda!! They're beautiful!!! Great Job! Now you're putting the pressure on those of us who HAVEN'T done theirs.............lol
-
Thanks Coonie. Nothing fancy as I cannot do that stuff. Glad the link worked.
-
Mine won't be fancy either. I'm gonna get DD to help me.
I'm cheating! hehe
-
I'm fantasmagorical..........all she did today was examine me and talk...and talk...and talk....I go back on Thursday for the setup..............oh boy........then a ct scan..then start treatments in bout 2 weeks.
-
I don't blame you Coonie, if I had a daughter, I would have had her make it for me.
Glad to hear it went well Deb!!
-
Oh Deb......the sooner you get them started........the sooner you're done. Are they at least nice during all that talking?
-
Oh yeah I liked the doc, she was super..then when I got ready to leave, out in the waiting room was a girl who went through chemo with me....she has the same doc and said she loves her...so looks like things will be nice! The doc even told me if the area starts getting burned, she will give me something for it, said she wants no pain involved......said SHOOOEY!
-
Oh Deb!! That's great!!!!!!!!! It makes it easier when the doctor is on your side:)
I'm getting vewwwwy sleeeepy........nighty night!
-
Good for you Deb. It's more comfortable when you are familiar with the people or place. I'm glad you like your doctor too. Best of luck to you!
-
I did see it. Thanks Linda. We're gonna hafta watch getting all this love and attention or it will go straight to our heads. It definitely is going to our hearts. Faith, Arnie and now Linda we appreciate your thinking about us.
-
Hello ladies!
The first one is under my belt!! The anticipation was way worse than the actual treatment. It really was nothing. I am very, very tired though. I don't have any other side effects- yet- and praying that continues! For now, I am headed to bed. I feel fine. Just tired.
Thank you so much for the prayers and the encouraging words. They mean so much!! Love y'all!!
-
oops~~ Had to add- I feel like that dog looks!!!
-
Mary, so happy for you! It will be over before you know it!! Get some rest. You deserve to have tomorrow off. I'll send a cleaning crew to your house!
-
When will I ever get a chance to 'read back??'
Looked at pictures and saw Arnie's shirt and MaK's pennants. Awesome, gals, really awesome!!
Hugs to all in need, currently undergoing treatment.

P.S. Our state convention for early childhood educators starts day after tomorrow, so I'll be even less "present" until Sunday -- I just didn't want anyone to get concerned about my disappearance.
Take good care of one another......................
-
Have fun Faith! We will miss you!
-
Lursa missing you on here as well as Barbe too.
Faith of course we get concerned when we don't see you. Who can not miss seeing a rainbow.

MaryRose I'm so glad you got the first one down. Mark it off with a big "X" on your calendar. The last one will be here before you know it. Fatigue is the major thing that got me too. I got lots of rest during that time:) My prayers are with you!! You can do it girl!!
Hey Lursa!! It's so good to see you again! Hope your appt goes well with the doc today.
Faithie when do you get a break??!!!! We WILL miss you! I know you will enjoy the convention though. Maybe you can pop in on your BB
when you take a bathroom break....hehe
Poor Barbe! It's gonna take her WEEKS to get caught up around here
Sure hope she's having a great time. Can't wait to hear about the wedding, trophy wife, etc.....
Mom I read something about round robins or something. I'll PM you......k:) Is DD still working out at house cleaning? I sure could have used her help yesterday. Every bone in my body is sore this morning from all the cleaning I did yesterday.........uggghhhh

Awwhhh cute pic Kathleen. How's Oliver this morning?
-
Lursa, apparently I am REALLY good at making red boxes. Who knew. If you want to see the picture of the pennant, there is a link above, click on it. The pennant is for the Avon 3 day walk for Checkum.
Good morning to all my other friends! Welcome to another new day!
-
Good morning to you too Linda! You start your days early, huh?
-
I have to be at the bus stop at 7:10 with my son, then again at 8 pm. We start our day at 5:45. I miss sleep! WHy are you up so early??
-
Morning ladies its pouring rain here today totally ruining my golf plans. If you can call it golf the way I play.My kitten insists on lying on my keyboard making this very dificult. Everybody had their coffee yet? I have been up since 5am.
-
Coonie - Oliver from all appearances is okay. Waiting for the vet to call about our next step. Except for the fact that he is so skinny, he seems fine.
Linda - I, too, like the red boxes! Seriously, I went to the link and saw your awesome pennants.
Where the heck is Barbe - I hope she is taking some time for her and dh while she is in such an exotic place. My sister is going there next month to attend the wedding of her best friend's daughter. Her best friend has had 5 breast cancers - finally had bilateral mastectomies with
DIEP reconstruction. She is an amazing woman as asre all of you! -
Just couldn't sleep.......ugghhhh.......I used to get up this early before chemo. Then during and after chemo I would sleep until about 6:30 or 7:00 (it's 6:05 am here now). But some mornings I just wake up.........soooooo ...........here I am.....LOL But I don't have to go to the bus stop. I'll probably work some today at my paying job:)
-
Morning ladies...geesh... I sleep in until 7:00 a.m. and I'm the late one...lol
Mary Rose... congrats on getting the first one down... drink, drink, drink, and rest, rest, rest!
Lursa... do you have your questions written down for onc? I forgot my first time, now I always have a list...lol He see's me whip that piece of paper out and he sits down...lol
Faith, Coonie, Linda and Km...
