I feel so bad for the people of the NYC/NJ area, can't believe they are going to get hit again. My area may get snow and wind.

Aw Sheila - sorry you are coming down with a cold - hope the chicken soup fixes you right up!
I voted too - but I didn't think to vote for Sheila - lol
I was hoping they were going to say the storm was going farther east and wouldn't be as bad. No such luck.
I vote for no power outages from this storm!
-
OH Meece, what a cutie patootie.
MOB's DD will try to make me a nana sometime next year, probably next summer they will try. She will be 37 Dec 29th.
Thanks for your thoughts for my friend luvRVing, she will have tx, WBR soon.
-
OOOh Deb...It's so nice of DD sharing that with you..
-
Here we go again. Another storm is coming. Just got thee elec back Saturday. Fridge cleaned, but did not get my food from my daughter's yet, so guess what. It can stay there till this storm is over. Possibly will loss power again. Oh we'll. shit happens.
-
Good call leaving the food at your DD's. I hope you don't lose power!
Did you ever find out how your summer home is? I hope it escaped any damage.
-
Deb - I hope your DD is successful on the first try!
-
Me too Deb!
Stay safe Ducky, praying you won't lose it again.....the electricity I mean.
-
Hi ducky....I hope we don't lose it again...like Linda said the power not our MH.......hahahahaha
It's time to make a hot cup of tea and watch last night's HAWAII FIVE-O
I bought chocolate.......
-
YUM!! ENjoy!
Good night!!
-
Me 3
-
Thank you all for your kind words of adoration of my little Patch. Only about 24 hours more and I will have the little guy in my arms. Hope all of you are going to fair well through the next storm.
-
Diane. It is tough when the grands are not nearby, but with Skype and telephones, there are ways to connect.
-
It looks like the storm may be a little to the east....it just means stronger winds on the east end of LI (where I live) but am not going to worry.
Sheila, hang in there....this will pass right by.
I have to work tomorrow until 9 PM...hope the storm has moved through by then.
Meece, how precious is your Patch!
It is very tough when the kids/grandkids move away. I have 2 in DC and don't see them as much as I'd like; but when I do, we really make up for it! I love to spoil the kids.
Chris, I had a feeling you had a marching band background! You made me LOL! I had to play a sax when I was about 60 lbs. in 5th grade...we had family heirloom sax so that was what we all had to play. It was awful for me and i had to quit. The case was as tall as i was, I think. i'm a piano person.
I hope everyone stays safe if in the east
Time for some sleep....hugs for all.
Joan -
I really hope none of you are affected by the storm at all, or at least to a minor degree.
I speak to several family members and friends on Skype frequently - I don't much care for it but it is what I will be able to do and so I will deal. I am trying to adjust to the idea of their departure. My DD is right to worry though - they are her guardians when I am not able.
-
I agree with you on Skype. It is more difficult now that Patch is on his feet. It is harder to get him to sit still and listen to Grandma talk to him.
-
Oh boy - here we go - it's snowing.
Stay safe everyone. Hopefully, the power will stay on.
I'm waiting for the oil company to come fix my boiler - AGAIN. We have 2 thermostats on one zone (I think) and the room over the garage is not as warm as it should be. I have the door open, so heat is coming in from the hallway. This stupid boiler. I wish the gas company would decide to put natural gas on our street...not that I want to pay for a new furnace, but gas costs about 1/2 what we've been paying for oil and I could get rid of this lemon of a boiler we have...
-
Good Morning...It'an ugly day......
I don't know why the power is playing games..it's not even that windy outside...
Some areas are still powerless........from lat week..
Well let me stop complaining..........and be grateful
I'm little cranky today my nose is dripping non stop...sorry...
I talk to you all later........
(((Diane)))....You know where I am......Hugs
-
Sleeting here. Hope the power stays on for us all! I am nervous having DS driving in this sh!t for the first time. Have to be quick, I'm at work.
-
Can't believe we already are hoping you on the east coast will be warm and safe through another storm.
@Sheila - I can't talk about it yet.
-
Diane♥
We lost power for over 3 hours again......
It's 34 outside........
now everything is back to normal....
Winter wonderland outside......
As long as the heat is on.....I'm thankful...........
Soup and chili is cooking......
-
Crank the heat up! I did, I'm afraid we will lose power too! Glad you have it back!!
