Thinking Out Loud.....

It is 50 here. I am still having hot flashes if I put jeans on or socks!
-
I have been suffering with allergies since they started shaking the almonds a couple of weeks ago. It makes me feel like I have a temperature, so it feels hotter than it really is.
-
checking in...apparently I am malnourished so trying to eat more often.....this is hanging on way tooo long......thanks guys and will be back to read what you have been talking about...
Sandy
-
Sandy - I am eating enough for all of us right now. Sorry that your recovery is slow - hang in there
-
Sandy...I was thinking about the same thing as Diane mentioned above.......Is it easier to drink a nutritious shake?.....During chemo in 2 weeks i lost about 7 pounds and nurse told me to get all the high calorie ice cream and fruits and I did.....blend it and drink.....I hope you feel better soon hugs♥
Good Afternoon all...running little late this morning.....my anxiety level is the highest...took some extra klonopine last night that makes me sleepy........
Gained weight..eating like an animal...I don't like myself very much.....I need to start discipline my life..long walks.....
Meece....Shaking the almonds???????
Linda...I hate this cold weather it's 61...At least i know it's helping some of my friends with their hotflushes.........

Valjean, my wireless keyboard is on the pull out . Nice and low. My 20 inch monitor sits on the desktp andmy laptop is off to the side out of the way.

(((((Sandy))))) ((((((Sheila)))))) ((((((TOL)))))))
Sorry about the hot flashes, Linda.
I think I would like a separate keyboard if I had a laptop. (Laptop I occasionally use is a "family" laptop. I usually use the outdated, might crash anytime, old desktop. I can't seem to type on the flat, mushy laptop keyboard and the mousepad thing drives me crazy. Who knows where I'm going to end up using that thing. I finally found out how to use the separate mouse. Apparently, there is an on/off switch on the bottom. Duh.

My wireless mouse is a Microsoft Mobile Mouse 6000, I love it. Hated the wired one.
So, pt, you basically don't have the tower anymore. Cool. Yeah, sounding better all the time. Desktop is 5 yrs old, getting slow.
Want to write more but DH is home, gotta run.

Shaking almond trees Check out the little video about shaking the almond trees, and watch how much pollen and dust gets kicked up. They start shaking in August and it continues through Sept. Then then shake the mummies (bad almonds) around November. Each time they shake the air gets dirty.
We went food tasting for the wedding tonight. The place we went set two plates with tri-tip, penne pasta with marinara sauce, garlic chicken and rolls on the table. We thought the six of us would each try some, then they brought four more full plates. Then they brought 3 different salads, green, raspberry and blue poppy seed. Then they brought out Penne with alfredo sauce, cheese ravioli with meat sauce-tomato cream sauce- and pesto sauce and saute'd green beans, rice pilaf and warm red potato salad. There was so much food, and they sent the leftovers home with us! They didn't charge us a dime, even thought they didn't know we decided to use them for the wedding reception. I am full...too full.

So, so tired! Moving sucks.
-
You'll be so happy when it's done, Diane!
-
What a beautiful day! Are you all out enjoying it??
-
No - I was inside with a migraine - blech - and waiting for the oil guys to come and find and fix a leak in the boiler...all fixed now, I hope. And the migraine is gone- for now at least - waiting to see if it comes back again. Now I need to do all the laundry I've been putting off- waiting for children to give me the clothes I've been asking for that they want/need clean for the weekend...grrrr. Oh wait- only one of them is still a child - the other is an adult... And I need to bring the child for a haircut/trim after band tonight for picture day- tomorrow - nothing like waiting 'til the last minute. I've been asking him and he's been saying he wants to, but doesn't know what to have them do. I've been getting him crewcuts since early elementary school - had a bad cowlick (like Alfalfa)- didn't want him to get made fun of for it so I kept it short- now he is growing it out, but doesn't know what to do with it. I think he'd like it to be like the current Doctor on Doctor Who - lol. He's into Doctor Who now.
I hope everyone else enjoyed the day.
-
Chris, have the adult do her laundry and teach the child to do his. I did and it is amazing! They can do it! If they don't, the car is taken away! What a motivator!
