lol Val!
Three boys, I stopped at 2, that was enough. Drivers ed was 1,000. here. Ouch!
Hi Sandy, thanks for checking in. How are you doing?
-
I don't remember what it cost for Rebekah, I do remember teaching her how to drive a standard. She hated it.
-
That happens to me too Val or I go into a room and forget what I went in there to look for then when I back track most of the time I remember.
-
-
-
I was going to post something, but I forgot what it was...
-
Hope you are feeling better, Sandy!
(((((TOL)))))
-
I watched and it is funny. But I can't remember who you all are
-
Thanks that was great!
-
LOL, Chris, on forgetting what you were going to post.
Deb, I'm one to do muliple things on the way to do something else & when I get to my 'destination', I have forgotten what I started out for. I, as you, back-track & thank goodness, I remember. I blame it on the AI, I am not getting older. No way!
At the prices these days, I'm very happy both my daughters were able to take theirs free through their school. I remember taking it through my school as well, but I remember my Dad taking me out on the weekends. OMG, I can't believe I survived that!! He is old-school Navy - tougher than h*ll - I made sure my DH & myself were much more patient with our DD's.
Hi Sandy. Hope you had a good day.
-
I remember my dad taking me out in the oil fields to learn to drive a stick. 1965 poppy red Mustang. I was in tears when I got home and figured I'd never get to drive it. Then, my mother had pity on me and sent me out alone with the car to drive around and around the block til I "got it". I was happy, but I doubt the neighbors were since the car had glass-packs on it.
-
checking in again, getting there, still no appetite....miss talking to you all....
oh parents paid for driving lessons for me!!!
-
We missed you too Sandy.....One day at a time....Hugs♥
Diane.....You're funny.....I saw the cutie pie's picture on FB...i want hold and squeeze her...She is so adorable
Forgetting is big part of my life too Val...
Good Morning TOL♥
Didn't plan my day yet but can use some walking.....and no eating today.....

Movers return today for part 2 of move - it is utter chaos here mixed with lots of stress. We have sections for storage, cabin, give to friends, donations, dump and new apartment. It's going to be interesting to live in a tiny apartment - and I do mean tiny. Three of us and dog in just under 900 sf but it can be done. Calling it an adventure for now. Not sure what we will call it after the first week.
Does anyone else's boob still hurt a lot two weeks after mammo?
DD and her friend went to a basketball game in Seattle last night, both have some level of disability. After the game, they came out and the roads were closed for traditional route home so they tried another route and ended up getting lost in the worst part of town - they were pretty frightened but I was very proud that DD held it together until DH found them in the city and escorted them home. Thank goodness for cell phones and that I do have some level of memory and was able to direct them to a burger place parking lot that I knew would be busy and open. DS and DIL live about two miles from where they were lost and because they have no house phone, we couldn't reach them. I still feel that everyone should have a house phone for emergencies of all kinds.
When, exactly, does life get easier?
-
Meecie ~ aw, glass-packs. A "blast" from the past! Sounding good, but, not continuously. (except for the one driving-cool)
Yeah, good question, Diane: When, exactly, does life get easier?? When anybody here finds out, PLEASE let us know!! How very scary for your DD & friend to get lost in a bad part of town. Very scary. (am I repeating myself?!?) Anyway, very happy they made it to a safe place to wait for DH. Whew! Even though DH & I have our cells, we continue to keep the landline. Just in case. I couldn't get rid of it right now anyway because I'm old-school yet ~~~ still have stupid dial-up. Just now able to receive high-speed if/when I want it but now don't want the added expense. Too many other people with their hands in my wallet.
I have had my chest area as well as the boob hurt 1-2 weeks after a smashing. And I stay red in the chest area from the stupid machine. I swear sometimes I think they're going to break a bone or something as tight as it gets. The boob just aches from that. And, lucky me, my mamm is coming up next month. Yay me !!!
TOL: When do men stop ripping their pants out in the crotch area?!? My DH wears uniforms for his job. (thank-you-very-much workplace!- saves buying jeans) And, no ladies - it is not what we might think of first that is the cause.
I swear men do not pull up the leg area of their pants when they squat down. I've watched. (that doesn't sound good) And I HATE sewing them. Very difficult area, near the zipper, to get at. Ugh!!
Have two pairs waiting for me........ ugh!
Looks like I'm yelling and screaming at everything today. (
) Not really having a bad day, really.
Hugs to all!
-
Monday I have a follow up with BS to check on my cellulitus. There is still some tissue thickening towards the bottom and some weird looking pitting. She will see Monday. Once in awhile the area will feel warm and have a slight pinkish color then it will be gone, comes and goes.
-
Deb - wishing you a good re-check. Almost sounds like the seroma I got shortly after surgery. Is it swishy sounding?
What are glass packs ladies?
-
Valjean - There is only one reason for that sort of wear near the zipper
-
lol - zipper-wear.
I don't know what glass packs are either.
Deb, I hope the cellulitis will be gone soon. Is that a late side effect from rads? The gift that keeps on giving. Elimar was talking about petechiae on the middies thread. She said she thought it was from mammograms. I thought it was just from rads - didn't think of the mammos. Anyone else have petechiae?
Glad your DD and friend got home safely, Diane. Hope you can set up the apartment so you are comfortable.
Hope you got some walking in today, Sheila. It was a nice day.
Slowly, but surely, Sandy. Glad you are still getting better. Thanks for checking in.
