Thinking Out Loud.....

So I should get a glasspack?
-
No seroma, the skin is just thick and the texture is like the feel of the nipple on a baby bottle.
-
Fascinator or a Hat is customary to wear at Weddings in the UK
-
Wow - what a beautiful picture.
-
You gals are hilarious! Yes,that is what glass packs are. Some towns would ban them because they were so loud. I actually don't know if one can still buy them or not. I would think so. I'd ask my DH but he's sleeping. (they do sound good on a souped-up car)
Naughty, naughty....... looking at the picture that Sheila posted & again reading Linda's post of putting glass-packs in boys/mens underwear .......... well, need I say more?Edited to add: Well, I'm a day late & a $$ short - thought I was the first to post the above naughty thought but I see I was posting at the bottom of the previous page & when it did post, my page advanced & I was reading all the comments just like mine. I'm a page late & a page short!!

Beautiful park, Sheila. I'm happy to be here with all of you. Thanks for the invite way back when.
Deb, wow, what a beautiful picture. Looks like something you'd see on Downtown Abbey.
-

Gorgeous wedding photos, Deb!
Only about 8 weeks until the wedding here. Yesterday I took apart part of the bridal gown and started re-doing it, made the jacket for the bride and cut out two bridesmaids' dresses. FDIL's mom had a dream the night before last that I had not got the dresses done so she wanted to cancelt the wedding, but I told her it was okay, just let the girls wear whatever they want....tempting!

Oh, DH bought me a new laptop Friday! He said he was sorry for being such a grouch lately and he knew that I was having a lot of problems with my old one. So cool!
-
Deb - you look stunning and your daughter looks just like you!
Congrats Meece - hope you enjoy the new laptop.
Sandy - glad for the updates, hope you are getting stronger every day.
Where are the rest of my breasties this weekend?
-
Thank you Diane,
A friend from work who came to the wedding posted those so I copied them to my pictures. I'm making a wedding folder.
-

Finally, we won the bidding war on a house, it's just about half the size of this one and has a beautiful backyard. In order to be the winners (buyers/payers) we had to agree to let them stay there until Dec 1. So weird for this little pocket of the country to be in a seller's market - I wish the whole country could see the economic improvement that we are having.
Ok, I am exhausted - we are down to two areas to pack and then off to the apartment.
-
Deb, what a beautiful family ~ lovely pictures. I just love the color combination your DD chose, her bouquet is so pretty & the gardens are stunning.
Meecie ~ I bet the dresses are going to be beautiful. Lots of love going into every stitch. Can't wait to see pictures after the happy day. Congrats on the new laptop. I'm still undecided whether I want a laptop or another desktop when I replace this desktop.
Diane, that's wonderful news on the new home. A lot of work ahead, but how exciting to move into a new home, especially after a lay-over in the apartment! A new home for the holidays!
Sheila, did you find anything interesting at the farm store you visited? I love places like that, that is where you find things you see no place else.
-
Valjean, I have a laptop but I bought a twenty inch monitor ,wireless keyboard and mouse so I have the bet of both worlds.
-
It's winter. I'm freezing. I'm about to go dig out my slippers. Brrrr.
-
I'm freezing too Chris.......
Val...I got some raw almonds and committed 2 sins still warm individual apple strudel and sugar donut......
I really controlled myself not to buy anything else
Diane ....Yeaaaaaah I marked it on my calender DEC 1.......Is it in the same neighborhood
Hi PT...I still have a desk top......
-
I'm munching on raw almonds too. love them!
I am loving this cool weather. still in my shorts and flip flops.........thanks Tamoxifen!
-
Thanks everyone. Yorkshire area of the UK is beautiful. Similar to the Scottish Highlands.
Had my follow up with the BS just to check up on the cellulitis, the breast tissue is still thick and may stay that way due to the cellulitis and radiation. That is the way the skin responded to the cellulitis because of the radiation. She wants a MRI so I will have that Oct 9th. WILL THIS EVER END????
-
Hi my friends....♥
-
Sheila - same city, but on the east side. We live on the west side now.
Deb - I hope the MRI is just extreme caution?
Went for my gyno exam today between packing. Forgot to shave one leg. I could hear the doc chatting away and laughing outside and when it was 45 min past my appt, I opened the door and sweetly said "hey Chatty Cathy, I need to get this show on the road". I have seen him for 25 years so I felt comfortable saying that and he laughed pretty hard...
Linda and Chris - stay warm/cool.
Hugs Sandy.
Hi to Valjean and Chabba too!
-
Sometimes I wish they made pants for women that opens up like a bras so we didn't have to worry.
lalalalalalalala
I think it's time to make an appointment with my BS......He retired...someone else took over......
I just want to meet her or him.....OOOOH sooooo exciting. lalalalalalalalalala
-
My BS asked me if I was concerned about this and I said a little. So she asked me if I wanted a MRI, I just said to her, If you think I should?" She state that, "I'm sure there is nothing there but just to make sure. I have dense breasts."

ptdreamers ~ That's a good idea, having the wireless keyboard, hadn't thought of that. I already use a wireless mouse - love that. My drawback with having a laptop is the keyboard placed up on the desktop part of my desk. I like my keyboard on the pull-out section, much more comfortable than a laptop sitting high would be. I have used my DD's laptop & didn't like it raised up high. I'm old-school, I guess; I don't rest my hands/wrists on the table, I hold them up. Just the way I learned in typing class all those many (did I say many??!!-don't want to date myself- hey, I really don't care about age) years ago. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions.
Chris ~ I got out my Woolrich slippers this past weekend & my feet & ankles are so toasty warm now. Getting a bit chilly here but I'm loving the cooler weather!
Linda ~ Like I said above, I'm just digging this weather but I'm not still in my shorts & flip-flops! lol Love my jeans & long-sleeved tops.
Sheila ~ Oh, my, warm apple strudel. Yum!! Even thinking of that, I can smell it.
Deb ~ Keeping good thoughts for you. That is wonderful that your doctor is willing to order that for you for your peace of mind.
Here I am, the last one here as usual. Need to get on in the afternoon to "see" you all!
Good night ladies! Sleep well.
-
Good Morning Ladies! No work today!! Just laundry, ironing, vaccuming, cooking, grocery shopping etc. Maybe I should go to work!
Hope you all have a good day!
-
I envy those of you who get to wear long sleeved tops and slippers. It is still pretty warm here in the 90s.
I need a day off to do chores when no one else is home. I am easily distracted and when DH wants help with something or suggests I do something else, I am there!
