Hope you aren't hurting, Sheila. (((((HUGS)))))

Good plan, Sheila! Hope it's OK.
Love thename stories. I hate my name, and know no other LInda's. When I meet a Linda, they are always about 20-30 years older than me. I think Linda was popular well before I was born.

I had some chicken broth that was frozen and a soft avocado....
Bleeding stopped...Took 1 Advil I feel better just my head feels funny of course that can be related MH hahahahahaha
Diane we are waiting words about the small house.......Thanks for the tip about the straw........
(((TOL))) I love you sisters I really do ♥♥♥♥♥

Ok, so they accepted our offer. Inspection tomorrow morning. Woo hoo! Having a huge, huge sell off at my house this weekend. The advantage to having kids in their early thirties is that they need furnishings and not necessarily Ikea anymore.
Sheila - this may sound crazy but the best thing for getting sweling down on a tooth is a wet tea bag. I promise. No swelling = less discomfort.
-
There were 2 Lindas in my class that I can think of off the top of my head...and I think we're about the same age - so you're not totally alone with that name.
I pigged out tonight - double stuff oreos. Guess I have to try to run extra tomorrow - but I can barely run what I've been running! I need to get my mouth wired shut!
-
Congrats, Diane!
-
I wish you the best of luck Diane.
We are in the process of buying my brother and sister off. I want to live in this house which is the one I was brought up in. We moved in when my Dad went into Assisted living, now that he is gone we all own 1/3 of he house, that isthe way the will was made out. DH and I have been living here for almost 4 years. Small ranch, one level, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, no cellar cuz it's a slab with heated floors. When my DD was 8, my parents added a large familyroom with lots of windows and tall ceiling, this is were we spend most of our time when we are home. It needs a lot of updating but I will slowly do that.
-
OK Diane no more homeless jokes....very happy for you.....My gums are not swollen and i don't have any discomfort but Thanks for thinking of me DR Diane ♥
Deb...you also have your permanent place....You can do it just one day at a time....
chris...i'm glad you enjoyed the cookies
i'm starving but can't find anything soft to eat.......
My grandmother named all her grandchildren with American or easy names.....My cousin was named ROY....his sister was named Tanya...And I was originally named Seyla because you coudn't put the name Sheila ...because of the pronunciation......so when I became a citizen at 1979 I legally changed my name to Sheila
Thank for listening

My FDIL's parents are from another culture and they named their girls Shannon Kimberly and Jennifer. My name is most often mispronouced "Malice". I answer by asking what parents in their right minds would name their child that?
Diane is right about the tea bag so file that in your memory in case the need ever arises.

My DS broke up with his GF about two months ago. She has been texting and calling him and showing up on his doorstep. Last night he was here and he got a text from her. He ignored it. Awhile later, she called him but he didn't answer. Then she texted him something that in effct said "You've got to be kidding! You won't answer the phone? In a few hours it will be our first anniversary!!!" She's crazy, doesn't she know you stop counting when you break up?
-
Good Morning...I can't find my head.......
Other than that it looks like a beautiful day outside
Meece....You are funny..the bag will be in my memory for the future.....Since yesterday was only the beginning since we decided to do a full denture so they will be pulled one by one...Yuck

Hey ladies heard you were worred about me, love you alll....am getting off after this but will tell you what happened....went in the hospital on 8/30 with initally pneumonia, ended up with bacteria infection in my blood and urine, took 800cc's out of my left lung, and 300cc's out of speen, it turns out the pain in my left side that I had been complaining about and they kept ignoring me about was an abcess that was above my spleen and diaphram and was a fungul infection. Ihave a drain in my back draining the fluid still (got it last friday) out of it. On 7 medications 3 of which are antibiotics, still no appetite and have to give myself infusion antibiolic through my port.
I will catch up later have to do the infusion by noon....again thanks for all you concerns, unfortunately it woke the kids up to how sick i really was, am off chemo for a couple weeks, and no didn't go to weekend down the shore, was in hospital and friends' mother is dying in hospice...
love you
me!!

Oh Sandy - so glad to hear from you and sorry for all you have been through. Healing hugs are sent your way. xoxo
Sheila - that sounds awful!
We got the house. Met the architect and inspector this morning and talked things through somewhat. Getting excited. Going to have to commute from the cabin for a month or so and then we are moving into our buyers house while ours is rebuilt.
-
Sounds like it worked out nicely, Diane. Must be a relief.
-
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad to hear from Sandy!!!!!!!!!!! Get some rest and checkin when you can. So glad to hear the kids are understanding. Jamie and a few of your friends gave me updates!!

Maybe she saved some for her friends
Good Luck with Mammo..Didn't you have one a while ago or I'm having an elderly moment again
-
Shouldn't be spending the time here this morning, but I have to get reved up before I start my day. Tomorrow is the bridal shower...at my house. The MOH lives out of town so I offered. It is going to be a tea party. I have been trying to do stuff all week, and DH promised he'd clean the carpets when I said I wanted to to it last week. Well, I started last night, and he felt guilty so he finished it. What else do I need done that I could start and he could feel guilty over??? My mother bought some chocolates and gave them to me for the shower. I left them in my car, so yu can guess that I don't have chocolates anymore, I have a bag shaped chocolate.
The girls are supposed to come early to help get things decorated and food made. I am feelin' the pressure.
-
Good luck with the party, Meece! Hope it is perfect. Sorry about the chocolate...You can eat it yourself later. What is it with men that they don't do things unless we start them?
Oops- I think all the cookies are gone. We are pigs in this house. And I bought 2 packages because I knew we'd plow through the first. There might be one or two left - you know the ones no one will finish because then they would have to throw the package away (or feel guilty for finishing them off - not sure which) I'll get more for everyone. (And duct tape my mouth shut) I ran twice yesterday - 2.5 miles in the am and at dusk. It was too warm for me to do more after my 2.5 in the morning so I decided I would do another loop that evening - to burn off a few of those bleeping oreos I stuffed myself with. Now I'M double-stuffed!
The other day DH commented that there were 2 Ritz crackers. I thought he meant in a sleeve - like someone couldn't just finish off the sleeve. But it was 2 left in the last sleeve in the box. Don't you know, the next day, I noticed the empty box in the cabinet! He criticized whoever left only 2 in the box and then didn't even throw away (recycle) the box! Could this family BE any lazier?!
-
Oh - and good luck with the mammo, Linda! We'll be waiting to hear that you got the all-clear!
-
All clear on the mammo, thanks guys. Kinda scared me when I went in because they told me when I was done with the mammo they would do a bilat ultrasound. They said my Dr. ordered it. Freaky. So I called and someone made a mistake sending the order over. The Dr. was not happy!
I hide food all over my house since the kids eat everything in one sitting. Sometimes I find food and I think, why did I ever hide it there.
Have fun Meece! Let us know how the party went!
HI Sandy!!
-
Happy happy happy for Linda....
Meece...you are a good future MIL
Chris...i have nothing in hiding place I don't even have one....
