Thinking Out Loud.....

Good Morning.....6:34 am....
I hardly slept....
-
So saddened to read about Marybe - seems like the downturn happened very quickly. Heading out to my two year mammo.
-
We'll be waiting to hear the all clear! (((((Diane)))))
-
Good luck DIane!!
-
I'm back - it was a tough appointment but ultimately, all ended up fine. Doc thought he saw something on first shots, sent me back for more "rolled" shots. Those looked better and showed him that it was scar tissue for sure. He looked at my shaking face and said "would an ultrasound get you to feel a bit safer"? So we did and all is fine.
This young woman, all blonded and red nailed and tight clothes is in the waiting area after my second pics and I am waiting for the doc again. She is using a nail clipper and doing her fingers. The noise and debris were making me more tense but I gritted my teeth. But then she started her toenails. I said "any chance you could do those at another time"? She asks why. The woman at the other end says "because it's rude, crude and annoying". She says "I have 3 more to go cause I don't have time for mani/pedi this week - can you handle that"? Me and the other woman say "NO". The tech comes and she tells her that we have been unkind to her at which point, we terrible women started laughing. The tech looked down, saw the nails and said "I'll come back to get you after you finish cleaning up". SO GROSS. Was I wrong? No, don't tell me, I don't want to know.
-
That is absolutely discusting Diane....Good for you...
So glad everything is good....
Is there a AG shortage?
-
There was a time when I would not have said something but with the proliferation of rudeness and lack of manners in today's society I don't consider it rude to quietly ask for better manners and propriety. Personal grooming has no business in public areas. She was the ill mannered and rude one. I have been known to politely ask people engaging in loud, personal cell phone conversations to "please find a more private space for the call." I will admit I'm sometimes ignored!
-
I feel better now
No shortage of asparagus out here - maybe you should come get some.
-
We have AG but either it's very expensive or they are no good like wood sticks...I just threw a bunch in the garbage.....
-
GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But a good distraction for you. Glad everything is fine!
-
Glad everything is fine, Diane. Sorry that person was so gross. I wonder if the tech wished she could take back her sympathy for the rude lady when she saw the nail clippings.
Sorry you can't find good AG, Sheila.
-
Oh she didn't extend sympathy at all! Any news on Sandy ladies?
-
Nope. I hope she's OK. I just posted again on her FB hoping someone will respind to me.
-
(((SANDY))))
What a disgusting lady. I really don't have nails to file, LOL
-
(((Sandy))) ((((TOL))))
She wasnt filing, I might have dealt with filing - she was clipping!
-
That is just gross! Nobody is teaching our children proper etiquet anymore, so you were right to give her a bit of a lesson. Oh, Emily Post, we miss you!
You too, Sandy!!!
-
i'm so happy we are all here..

TOL...TOL...TOL..Are you all sleeping? or doing other things?????????

-
Good Morning. Heading to the gym now. I'd much rather go back to bed!
-
Much rather stay in bed, but time to get ready for work.
-
Still no Sandy.
-
Good Morning....

Maybe we can send a message to her daughter through FB.....
Diane ...I watched Clinton speech last night.....
-
Rain............I could not believe what I was reading..................... clipping her nails, and then her toenails...........I would have gotten off the chair, and "bitch slapped" her.................OMG..........that is horrible..........I can't even stand when someone slips their shoes off anywhere (with strangers).................
I was in a restaurant one time and a women had her 1 leg over the other not crossed, but across her thigh, and her shoes off..................I said "excuse me, if I wanted to look at someones "gross feet", I could have gone to the Spa down the street and eaten my lunch there..........................do me a favor....................put your shoes back on, put your feet down, and sit like a lady.................regardless of how hard you find that to do.....................or would you rather I ask the "hostess" to have you do it..................................she said "I'm just making myself comfortable"...............I said, well then, get your food take out, and go home and get as comfortable as you wish........................they left.............................as she started to walk away, everyone nearby clapped...........................lol.
-
Good for you Ducky!!!
-
Got a PM on FB from a friend of Sandys from her Big Brother group. They have not heard from her in a long time too. Lets keep Sandy in our thoughts and prayers. WE MISS YOU SANDY!!
-
Dear! I pray everything is okay, and perhaps it is just that her internet is down.
I have seen a couple of females (I refuse to call them ladies) sitting indian style in restaurant booths. It jus t amazes me that they don't look around and see that this is not how you behave in public. These were probably the children who, when taken to a restaurant, stood in the booth or ran around the tables while their parents sat oblivious to how disruptive their kids were.
-
Good Morning..
Sandy today is Macy's One Day Sale....missed you ♥♥
I love my TOL Friends♥

Still no word?? Bummer!!
I went to work today for the first time in 13 years. My BIL owns a copany and needed a part time reception, admin, order entry etc. I said sure. Not sure how long it will last for but it was nice to get out of the house and be around adults! I could get used to that!!
