Thinking Out Loud.....

I'm feeling fine now, had a reaction to the percoset they gave me for pain, couldn't keep anything down. I'm feeling better now. Tata is getting better, about 10 ppl have looked at it so far, I guess you loose your modesty after BC. It took two trys to put a new IV in, got some really neat looking bruises on my arm. OH well. Most like I will be going home tomorrow, I hope.
-
hang in there we are a short click away...
hope all is having a nice Memoral Day Weekend....
Sandy

((Sandy))
-
I hope tomorrow is a better day for all. I'm thinking of you Deb.
My friend died today at the age of 46. CANCER SUCKS!
-
I just noticed that this forum is listed under 'forum and games'. Has it always been this way?
CANCER STILL SUCKS!
-
omg, Linda - she was fine just last week and has passed this quickly?! What a shock. ((((((Linda))))))
I don't remember what forum this was in, but I don't think it was humor and games. Maybe they looked at this thread when everyone was joking around and thought it belonged in humor and games, but there's no humor going on here now... (((((TOL)))))
Hope you are feeling better today, Deb. When do you get to go home? Today?
-
It is a shock, Chris. She had something called Signet ring cell carcinoma. Starts in the stomache and spreads quickly. Extremely aggressive which is why she died in one week. Im so mad this happened to her of all people. No one deserves this.
-
My sympathy to you, Linda, and to her family.
-
Awww Linday, I am soooo sorry, HUGS. and Hugs to her family. YES CANCER SUCKS!!!
-
(((TOL)))
-
How are you feeling this morning, Deb?

-
Thank you for all your kind words.
Deb, I hope you are feeling much better today.
-
Hope you get over that stomach bug fast, Sandy! I live in fear of stomach bugs...
Ha ha - several of us might be hurricanes - hope we don't do any damage. Looks like I'm up next? Hurricane season is starting early this year.
((((((TOL)))))) ♥
-
Oh Linda - what a terrible thing to have happen to your friend and her family. Many hugs ((((Linda))))
Deb - I hope you are resting comfortably and without any reason to worry at home.
Sheila - Tomorrow we will have soupy weather too.
It has been a very busy weekend here. Several groups of visitors plus my son, wife, the baby, daughter, boyfriend and of course, DH and the two dogs. Baby had a rough weekend after her shots, which means we all had less peace than we wanted. Doesn't matter, love that little girl. Now that it's close to summer, the sunrise in the cabin is beautiful but way too early. Just finished putting up black trashbags with thumbtacks. We are so classy
-
LOL - black trash bags - that's what my father does when we go on vacation in upstate NY.
-
Chris - you are up late tonight. Waiting for kids?
-
Seeing if I can upload a video of one of the pieces they played at their concert the other night to YouTube. It's taking a long time. It was recorded on a hi-def camera. I don't need hi-def video of a concert - I'll have to see if I can upload it with lesser quality and maybe it won't take as long...
-
Hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day.
-
Anyone else planning on watching the Hatfield & McCoys?
-
-
Wishing all my friends a healthy day......
I'm almost soup.....no AC in the window yet
Other than that nothing new......
♥
-
Are you home, Deb?
-
Hope you are doing better, Deb!
I'm melting... Guess I missed a spot with the sunscreen. I got a sunburn on the back of my neck/shoulders at the parade today.
(((((((TOL)))))))
-
chris i already melted...AC is not in the window yet....
i keep drinking water....It's 82 with a humidity of 68%
Yes I'm complaining
-
Complain away. Hopefully it will cool off tonight for you. Stay hydrated.
I'm really melting now - went for a "run." Despite the heat, I "ran" my best time this year. Breeze in the beginning helped. But it disappeared in the middle - now I'm dripping.
Better get showered.
