Thinking Out Loud.....

I'm having coffee and a temper tantrum over the stupid carpet installer.
-
I thought you needed a really good cigar!
-
Mention of a cigar is humorous given the recent tone of this thread
-
Sorry Sheila. I admit I did have a DM - I LOL'd. Tho I didn't know who Mr. C was.
-
Mr. Clinton??
-
Diane, Sorry about the carpet! I just read about it on FB. GAWD!!!! Are they going to reinstall? You should hit them up for moving all your furniture too, plus your aggravation.
-
((((Deb))) I hope you and your Dad are OK. It must be so tough!
-
They wanted to order it a third time - each time we have taken everything down and moved it. We don't want them to install anything or measure anything anymore. Plus either Joel or I has taken time off, driven up there to wait around. We want our money back. We'll eat the rest.
I did something new yesterday. I went for a shellac manicure. Considering how short and pudgy my fingers are, it looks awesome. Supposedly will last a minimum of two weeks.
-
Good for you!
-
Got our money back - yay!
-
YAY!!!!
-
Stopped by to see if everybody behaving ...
Diane ...Good for you....SLAP the carpet people
Yes Linda...I meant Mr Clinton.....
Is cigar joke another DM statement?
I was a good girl today....I cleaned the back yard....OMG what a mess
It took me 3 trips to take the garbage out....DD and her friend will come to pick up all the leaves etc....
I have 1 Mr Sam left...it's chilling......Didn't have Ms Zin for a long time...
Thank you God for my almost normal MH......I appreciate it when i have energy and desire to do things....
i'm still pure...leftover fish and a bowl of blackberries.....avocado wasn't ripe enough to make a salad....
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE DON'T HESITATE TO ASK.....

Diane, I did come across that website when I googled. I'm looking for the sachet drawstring bags to put the Avon hand lotion in, I work across the street from a printing company and they also do work for our Marketing Dept. I went over there and choosed a cute logo with wedding bells and put their names and wedding date on small tags that I can put onto the drawstring. I have to ask DD's maid of honor the colors, I know the maid of honor is wearing teal green but I forgot to ask what the others are wearing.
-
Wow Deb - you have it totally under control and then some
Try Oriental Trading http://www.orientaltrading.com/api/search?Ntt=organza+bag If you don't want organza, they have muslin, etc.
-
When is the shower? I like your idea of the bags. I will be assisting FDIL's Maid of Honor with the shower. Down in the LA fasshion district there are stores with wedding stuff, and they have the little organza bags in all sorts of colors and sizes.
try this link, the bags are fairly reasonable: Bags

Meece...Deb.....
i'm very happy for both of you about the Bridal Showers......
i don't know if anyone is throwing a party for DD...She has friends there...I can't even ask.....
Meece when is the wedding again?
good Morning all....another beautiful day....I want to be at the beach so badly........
I'm hoping you are all having a good day
(((♥TOL♥)))
-
Weddings will be coming up soon! I'm excited for you both!
I went to the beach today and left the kids at home. No fires, or police so I guess it was successful. I had an awesome day. I watched a seal sunning itself on the sandbar!
-
Linda....Was it some type of honeymoon?
-
It felt like it. It was so nice to be alone!
on a sad note, my BFF, who had BC a year before me, DCIS, MX, is now going in Thursday for surgery for Ovarian cancer. Shes a single mom of 3 young kids. I'm so sad for her and her family. We grew up together and she happens to be DH's cousin. I've known her longer than I've know DH, which is a long time since DH and I met when we were 15....just 10 years ago!
-
(((((((Linda and her BFF and family))))))
-
Linda...It is sad...this *^%^&*& Cancer is effecting so many lives....enough is enough
I'm sending you and your family all the hugs and the love I have for a good outcome.....♥♥♥♥
Being on the Beach must been heavenly....i'm glad you had good time.
I jumped in a bus and left town today....Walmart...Target couple of other stores...
After shopping all afternoon was too tired to go to Galleria where Macy's is.....i'll do that another time
OK..as of today in almost 6 weeks i lost 7 pounds...still not my regular overweight numbers but i'm getting there...once I see 169.8....i will be very happy....feel lighter and i'm not out of breath anymore
Good Night ♥
-
Good job, Sheila - keep up the good work!
-
Oh Chris - you are reminding of all the effort we moms put in to our kids having the best possible experiences. Doesn't he buy the flowers for her?
Linda - good for you - would give anything to hit the cape just one more time in my life.
Sheila - wow - you really got around today. Good for you and congrats on the weight loss.
Why are you east coast ladies up so late tonight? And should I bother with SNL tonight?
We stayed home this weekend - went to the winery region to return some wine that was "corked". Then we went to the Woodinville Whiskey distillery. I don't drink brown, but others were happy and the tour was very good - rated # 4 tour in the country by Forbes, not that I read it.
Meece - Have you gotten further with the wedding planning? I was too scared of my DIL to have an opinion. She has discovered that I have value now that she is a mother.
-
Linda sorry about your friend, Cancer sucks!!
-
Yes - I think he is supposed to get her flowers, but she asked him to her prom, so I don't know how it works in that case. He is just a friend, not her boyfriend-
-
Oh chris...we love our children but sometimes it feels like it never ends. Good luck ♥
Day 4 of a gorgeous day in NY....i don't know what to do with myself.....Beach is calling me..i can hear it lol
i told my friend let's go to raspberry picking...I think I'm loosing it......
you all have a nice day....see you later

"Our wedding" in in November. Six short months away. Nothing more has gone forward as far as planning. Yesterday we went wine tasting and ended up at our friends' winery. In walked another friend who is a wedding coordinator. I asked her how you kick start a bride and she gave me some suggestions, most of which I have already tried. But I need to get the kids over here for a talk. FDIL says she has two mothers and I want her to continue to think that way.
Our friend the winemaker had another health scare a couple months ago. He needed to be cleared by his cardiologist so he could have a knee replacement surgery. Well they found a 80% blockage so he had a stint put in. So now he is feeling as if his time is limited and he broke out several of his library wines yesterday. Wines I thought were long gone tasted sooo good.
-
Another beautiful day. Off to Neices grad party later. Hope you are all enjoying your day.
-
Beautiful day...was out all day...and mildly lost my pureness
Meece...It's so nice to hear how your FDIL feels about you.
(Linda)
