That is so sad Linda. Too young.

Good day today, even with the aches and pains......................had a 1 hour massage, and then to the hairdresser to get the "mop" cut...................I hadn't seen this "male" hairdresser for several years......stopped going to him when his receiptionist gave me some shit about an appt......................my "now" hairdresser had a baby, so she isn't available, so I went back to him......................he did a great job, but funny thing.
He said to me..........now keep in mind this is a lot of years..................he said "my God you look wonderful, I would have recognized you anywhere"................I said "and guess what John, there is an opthomologist about 4 doors up, and I suggest you make an appt...................he roared...............then he said "good Lord, you have not changed at all...................................I said.................exactly how bad did I look last time I was to you................he said "I can see compliments are getting me nowhere"................we both laughed..............love the way he did my hair, will be returning to him...............he said to me "love your color, and your highlights, but the cut is not good.....................so he fixed it..........glad its done

FDIL came over to exercise after work yesterday and we talked about the wedding. We are going this weekend to get the dress, and we will also look into bridesmaid dresses. It will just be her mother, her and myself so it should go fairly smoothly. We should have at least four hours in the car to talk things over.
Good luck with the proms, Chris. No one is going to be checking out your mending job, they'll be focused on the kids.
-
Good luck with the wedding planning. I hope she finds the perfect dresses and everyone likes them.
-
Happy prom weekend, Chris!
Happy wedding dress weekend, Meece!
For me, it's paperwork weekend. Ugh. Nothing happy about that.
-
Sounds like a fun weekend for you both. Diane, paperwork on Monday, enjoy the weekend!
Hope you are feeling better Sandy. -
Happy weekend for Meece and Chris.....
Happy paperwork Diane........
Sandy how are you/
Deb...how about you? When is the shower?
Linda....A big hug from the bottom of my heart is coming your way...♥
ducky...how nice about the massage.......
Where is Judy...maybe she moved to Belize
-
The shower is June 23rd. Moving right along.

Since FDIL's Maid of Honor is in the Army, I have offered my home as the "Shower Venue". I have already been planning some fun games but wishs she'd stop by next time she's on leave so we can get this thing planned out.
FDIL graduates on the 16th. Unfortunately we will be out of state at Patch's 1st Birthday Party.
We are heading to LA shopping tomorrow.

Deb...love the pix and hope they got the crap under control, how is dad?
Ducky...don't like the lump thing, splain please
Meece wow you are right in the middle of the wedding thing....better you than me, she will get like Diane's did you are valuable...
Where is Diane btw?
Well thanks for your thoughts, I think it is alot of things, the gall bladder is to come out on the 22, but the spleen is acting up (dr said) and the white blood count is not being cool either, so who knows what is going on...stress is off the charts.....ok have medicare now offically, no co-pay or 2nd back up thing until the income goes down which it will soon, since the boys are losing all their income and the child support is gone after they graduate....the pharmacy is what I am concerned about cause I don't have one and if have medicare can't get anything from the drug company so not sure whether getting chemo this week or not.....she put me on blood pressure medds cause it is 160 over 90 all the time....said she can't give antibiotics cause I don't have enough of an ammune system to help get it where it needs to be.....so sick of this crap....enough about me
Sandy
-
We're sick of this crap for you too, Sandy. ((((((HUGS)))))) So there's not part D for pharmacy when you have medicare through disability rather than social security? This country has GOT to fix this mess.

Went to Chili's and had my spinach and artichoke dip and 1/2 of the bacon ranch quesadillas (sp?) and a couple margaritas, so I feel better now - lol. I'm so full. I want to go for a run, but I'm so full... I lost a couple lbs in the last couple weeks - I want to make sure I keep it off...
Need to fight with FB to try to post tonight's pix. FB gave me such fits last night.
-
Chris - good for you to go get the margarita's! You deserve them. What a weekend!
Sandy - you sure have a lot going on right now. I think you are going to have to call around to see which pharmacy will take Medicare if this is new to you. What kind of father stops child support just because of graduation, especially under these circumstances.
Deb - how is the tata?
Linda - how is your heart? Many hugs.
Sheila - where are you????
-
Tata is very slowly getting better. Thanx for askin
Dad is having some bad days, when I went to visit him yesterday, he was sitting in the wheel chair at his kitchen table eating with his fingers and his nose was running. Very unresponsive, I read the nurses notes that he is yelling at the nurses and the hospice nurse also. She put a fork in his hand to eat with at lunch time in the dining room and he started yelling at her and saying something about you women. She couldn't understand what he was saying.
-
Chris...Your DD looks absolutely beautiful and i like the dress....
Meece...Sometimes when you want to help...maybe too much was expected from you.....
Sandy...i hope that RX part works out for you....so the boys didn't apply for continuation of their benefits? Take care of yourself ♥
I'm here Diane just was busy the last few days....I think i hurt the ribs at the radiation area again...moved furniture and stuff.....Everything is good ♥

Is there another kind of support the kids can qualify for? If illegal immigrants can get government aid, 18 yr olds should be able to get something until they can get on their feet - especially in this economy. I hope there is something they can apply for. ((((((Sandy))))))

Good Morning....
Wishing all a peaceful day....
Sending hugs to all of you....

Just when you think the sun is going to come out it goes back in and it starts to drizzle.
-
The same here except the drizzling part...
I'm watching Bird Cage.....I just love that movie......
-
That is a fun movie. Sadly, I am looking for a menu idea for company tonight. I did not extend the invitation but what's done is done. I don't even recall the conversation about doing so. Not sure if that is selective memory, chemo brain, or early dementia. O should I make reservations?
-
I'd make reservations - but I'm lazy and can't cook.
Sun is shining brightly here, but there are rain and storms on our doorstep...
-
I can cook but I made reservations.
Hope DD can keep all her dates straight
Perhaps another Margarita, Chris?
-
HAPPY SUNDAY!!
-
Hi Sandy .........was down the shore for the weekend........just got your post........well I went for the Onc. visit the other day, and she felt the both breasts as usual.........and said................did you always have this small lump here?.............I felt it and said.......not sure, but I had a mam, just 6 weeks ago, so it can't be anything.......she said well I want an ultrasound........I said......" its moving", not still or hard, so what could it be.......she said maybe lymph fluid, but I'm not going to guess.........I want an ultrasound..............same side as the tumor that was removed........right side................I go Tuesday........I'm sure its nothing..........well at least i hope its nothing..................
Hope your doing good kiddo............thanks for thinking about me..........hugs.......will let you know how it goes................
-
Did someone say Margarita?? Actually having a chocolate martini now. Love them too.
How was the second prom?
I know you can cook Diane, everything you make sounds soooooo good!
Been missing you all but am having a hard time dealing with anything cancer right now. Hoping this is a better week for me and my family.
-
Get that Linda, just take care of yourself!!
