Good Morning...
It's raining like it never rained before....
Deb...I saw the pictures on FB...you all looked so relaxed♥
-
Good Morning - raining here as well and I think it is going to last through the weekend! Given that we are having lots of houseguests at the cabin, I'm a little nervous, especially for the young kids! Am I ready for this?
-
No rain here. WHy? Because I am still trying to fill the dang pool! Send some rain please!
-
Good question Linda......

Not a busy evening in TOL last night.
The kids came over for dinner last night DS3 & FDIL cookedfor us. She made her mom's enchiladas, mexican rice, and "Mexican" guacamole. She tells me my guac. isn't like real Mexican guac. The food was yummy but the clean up was...
It is the rule in our house that the person who cooks doesn't have to clean up. FDIL needs a little assistance in the organizing skills. For six of us eating I'll bet she used 12 plates. two skillets, a casserole pan, and several bowls. But at least she made the effort.

She's learning, meece!
Just drizzle here. Need some good rain,
Could go to gym this morning since my yougest was up throwing up all night. I'm tired but he feels better.
My friend is back in the hospital as of Saturday. Her boyfriend found her on the kitchen floor, yello and barely conscious. He took her from Townsend MA to Boston and they admitted her. She was supposed to have her surgery for Ovarian cancer yesterday, but they ddn't do it. They need to figure out whats going on with her. They think she has some kind of obstruction. I feel so bad for her and the kids!
-
Meece...When DD#1 was still home and loved to cook......the kitchen looked like actual war zone...including the floor....and yes we had the same rule you cook I clean....You should see her now...when she eats something she washes her dish before she leaves...........
I had a very productive day in this soupy, humid weather.....i did some cleaning....Daughter did her wash and fixed my computer issues...didn't try it yet...something is decluttering or doing something...so i'm suppose to leave it on....
and she showed me what she did so i wouldn't have a panic attack when certain stuff looked different.......
I'm clean ....
Sun came out...much appreciated...i talked to my best friend (my little angel's mother)
No complain...Just extremely grateful for my mental & physical health...for my daughters...for my friends
I hope this feeling will never go away.......
Hugs & Love to every one of you...Thank You for all the caring & being my friends
♥♥♥♥

Concert tonight! DD's last (unless she plays in college). sniff sniff Excited and sad at the same time.
-
Well, listen to this, woke up this morning with a very sore dark pink swollen left breast. Scared the living daylights out of me. It's the same breast I had surgery and rads 5 years ago. Thought I had IBC. Called my BS and the nurse said come in as soon as you can. I made it from Westford to Woburn in just a little over a half hour.
The nurse took my temp, 99.7 check out my tata, said it is an infection. WTH is with that, how did I get an infection? They said I was the second case today and only IV anti biotic will work so they were going to admit me for 48 hours. After a few other doctors looked at me and me not happy going into the hospital just for IV's they said we will try an oral anti biotic. I have to go back Friday afternoon and if there is no change I will be spending part of Memorial Day weekend in the hospital. I can't believe how hot and sore and swollen my breast is. They may take a biopsy Friday just to make sure. Keep your fingers crossed that the oral anti biotic works
-
Oh Deb....I can imagine how scared you were......
I hope oral antibiotics work....
I'll be thinking of you and wait for your updates
Love & Hugs♥♥♥
-
chris...enjoy the DD's concert....
Linda...hoping problem will be fixed ASAP.
-
Deb scarey let us know what happens....
-
(((Deb))) Scary!!
I just found out my sons classmate died. So sad. She was only 13. She was born with a heart defect and had many, many surgeries over the course of her life. I'm so sad for her.
My friend, the one I mentioned before does have liver cancer, ontop of ovarian. SHe had BC a year before me. They are still looking for the priimary for her liver cancer. I am just so sad for her and her kids. Her Mom died of cancer in her 40's when we were kids.
Computer is still not working. DH brought his home foe me.
Miss you all and wish you all the best.
-
Oh Linda....that is so sad...So sorry....
(♥Linda♥)
-
My DD was not too happy that she had to find out about me on FB. WHATEVER!!!! Temps 100.2 gonna take some asprin.
-
Deb - that would scare the shit out of me. I would be reassured that your doc didn't order anything extra for tests. Drugs just have to work! And this is crappy timing for you too.
Linda - so sad when someone so young dies and sadly that leaves you to fight for those living. Terrible news about your friend. I almost don't want to know if the primary was BC.
((((Deb)))) ((((Linda))))
Chris - these "lasts" you are experiencing only lead to many, many more firsts. Hang in there.
Sheila, Meece, and Sandy - just hugs for you for no particular reason other than we all need them.
