i want to live in a small fishing village where I can eat fresh fish every day.
Im exciting myself.
-
I will live with you. DH too, only he wont eat fish. I will buy him meat and potatoes!
-
Dont laugh but when I watch the Discovery or whatever channel I see bears catching fresh salmon and i get jealous. I love to go fishing too. OOOOOOOOOH it feels good to dream.
Your DH can hunt for wild pig or something.
We will have a garden with all fresh veggies and tropical fruits.......................................................................................................
-
Sounds good! I love to go fishing too.

Hey there love reading and seeing what you are talking about. Working this week 3 days, bridal person coming back. DIL going out of town until Wenesday night so have to stay over night at my sons in case the baby wakes up when he is delivering the papers....then he will take him to babysitter and I will go to work, then same thing the next 2 days. Unfortunatelly had to file a lawsuit against daughter and the father of my grandson Andrew to get grandparents right visition, cause daughter won't let us in this family see him (he is 4) she has a baby but don't qualify with her and her father really doesn't want me to see her anyway. Daughter will let me babysit them when she works but won't let me have them for 3 hours for visitation, sorry don't want them for 9 hours....the boys are really acting out and I see it being a really rough holidays, they are really being mean to me and I have tried to reach out but no one seems to want to help except them wanting me to call the police on them all the time, called their father, he is worthless.....physically I feel fine, taking the chemo pill every night, have to go back on the 28th I think....alot going on and the holidays are almost here, trying to be positive about them, but you know when you have stage 4 you never know what the next day will bring, let along the next year.....thanks guys for listening, and sorry haven't been here much but as you can see dealing with alot....talk to you soon....

I already started to look for our perfect village.

Sheila - could we aim just a tad higher on the housing?
I don't want to live someplace that is small because I cannot justify my monthly cleaning lady
I will bring the DH - together we are good gardeners and he lives to fish....seriously.
-
Monthly? I would think we need daily...
-
Well I didn't want to seem like a diva or anything
You will bake for us? Those ladies can garden and fish. I will cook fabulous meals.
-
My best friend for life lives in Portland ME - we always joked that if for any reason one of us ended up alone we would have an all white condo, white rugs and furniture and bedding and towels....not sure if i could actually enjoy that now as much as we imagined when we had kids messing up our homes...so I will go with the village posted above, but I need a shingled cape cod on the waterfront.
-
I can bake, but only if I can play in the garden some, too.
DH said tonight that he thinks I cooked the best TG meal yet this year. That's a real compliment.
Where ever I end up, I want a hug kitchen with plenty of counter space. (And a maid to clean the floor
).
-
Hmm......I have a HUGE kitchen with tons of counter space. I am very lucky with my kitchen. In a few weeks, a James Beard chef is coming to do a cooking lesson and private dinner in my home for two friends' 60th birthdays (combining their parties) - he would only do it if he was satisified after checking things out. Maybe I shouldn't go anywhere
This is the first year that I didn't cook TG. My friend is a good cook but we all have our little TG things - like the kind of gravy and veggies, etc. I know it's silly but I really wanted creamed onions and didn't realize it till I was there.
Back to chemo tomorrow, I have heard #3 of 6 is the hardest to go to and that is sure proving true but by mid-december, I will be halfway done. Hair is thinning so so so much that people are starting to ask what I am doing differently. Um, duh, you all know I am on chemo!
-
Good Morning. I want a new kitchen!
-
My house is onl 4 years old, but I would love to remodel the kitchen.
-
-
Doesn't matter how big the kitchen is today - it doesn't change how crappy I feel at the moment. Just got home from #3, blaaaaaachhhhhh!
Gonna crash for a bit
-
After a hectic work , I always wish to return home to get relief where I can find peace and harmony though it has small space. Home is always sweet for everyone no matter how big or small it depends on one,s satisfaction. Moreover, small house does not need much time to clean up. My kitchen area is also too small. I put daily use items only in easily reachable place and other items on top rack of the cabinet.
-
Time for dinner and a sweet potato.
-
-
Hmm.....given how I feel this evening, I will probably be eating oatmeal.
Did any of you do IV Cytoxan? We are discussin me changing from pills to IV and I want to know how that was.
-
Sorry, I'm no help to you, I did not have chemo.
Called my Gastrointologist to make a colonoscopy or virtual colonoscopy. Normally my insurance won't pay until the 5 years are up but the doctors office said they will cause I am having issues and a polyp was found upon my last colonoscopy. They want me to call Wednesday and talk to the doctor.
-
RCG...I had A/C chemo regimen. If C stands for Cytoxan then I had it.
The only think the part of the A (sorry I don't know how to spell it) wasn't pleasant and I was getting sick by day 3.
Sorry you are not feeling like yourself.
-
Okay I just checked my journal.
Yes Cytoxan 4 X with Adriamycin.
After that 4X Taxol.
-
(((((((((((RCG))))))))))))) Hope you feel better. I did not have chemo, only radiation.
-
Hope you feel yourself soon.
-
thanks guys, love the village let me know where it is and send the jet i will be there... that meat is really red......yeo the 3rd one is really difficult and as you go just make sure you chew gum, keep your mouth with silvia in it...
-
RCG....How about some cream of wheat. Its very comforting for your tummy.
Hugs
