Thinking Out Loud.....

OMG - that sounds great. I already came up to bed, maybe DH will make me some. Is it wrong to text him from up here?
Blondie - I wasn't able to suck ice, drink water, roll around a popsicle or chew gum today - I just gagged and vomited. That was after two doses of Zofran and Ativan. Not a great day, not sure why it was so damn hard this time.
Mulling over getting the C via IV.
-
you can even try plain boiled potatoes.
RCG...Do you think if you get the IV form the SE will be less. Is that why you want it?
-
11 p.m. - just downed a bowl of mashed potatoes.....
-
Good for you RCG, if that makes you feel better. I sure hope it did!
Good Morning!
-
Thank you all for your good wishes - let's hope today improves. Still gotta swallow the caca pills.
-
I am thinking you ladies can call your favorite meal SAG instead of Salmon and AG
At the moment, my favorite meal is toast.
-
SAG is good! I just bought more this morning.
Sorry to hear your favorite meal is toast. Keep eating, I hope it helps you feel better
-
SAG it is.
RCG...How are you feeling?
-
Hi!RCG, Hope you are feeling good now. Get well soon!
-
I'll be having some SAG tonight. Hope you are feeling better. Hope you are napping.
-
No, but I am reading my emails from yesterday:
GOTTA PEE
---------------
Two women friends had gone for a girl's night out. Both were very faithful and loving wives, however, they had gotten over-enthusiastic on the Bacardi
Breezers.
Incredibly drunk and walking home they needed to pee, so they stopped in the cemetery.
One of them had nothing to wipe with so she thought she would take off her panties and use them.
Her friend however was wearing a rather expensive pair of panties and did not want to ruin them.
She was lucky enough to squat down next to a grave that had a wreath with a ribbon on it, so she proceeded to wipe with that.
After the girls did their business they proceeded to go home.
The next day one of the woman's husband was concerned that his normally sweet and innocent wife was still in bed hung over, so he phoned the other husband and said: 'These girl nights out have got to stop! I'm starting to suspect the worst. My wife came home with no panties!!'
'That's nothing' said th e other husband, 'Mine came back with a card stuck to her ass that said..
'From all of us at the Fire Station. We'll never forget you.''

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hahahahahahahahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
hahahahahaha

Too funny!
I had AC-T for my chemo. I am with Sheila, that Adriamycin was horrid stuff. The nurse had to sit there with me and infuse it so it wouldn't go out of my veins and eat away tissue... YUK!!! I couldn't tell you which made me sicker, the A or the C. I sucked on popsicles during the A. At the Cancer center, they gave me lavender lollipops. They helped the nausea but I couldn't stand the smell of lavender for years!!! I took Emend every chemo and it really helped keep the nausea to a minimum. You take one pill the morning of chemo, then one pill each day for the two following days. make sure it is covered on your insurance because it is expensive.

Meece...That red devil A
i was peeing red. I say that was the most sickening part of my treatment. I lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks. And I can tell you this much I wasn't happy about my weight loss because it was such an unhealthy way
Im having leftovers SAG+SP
-
I remember that well. It happened before I even finished my chemo for the day. So Gross! I got down to 123. I wish I could have struck a happy medium between that and where I am now.
I got sick on salmon 28 years ago and haven't got over it yet. Maybe next year.
-
Tonight is the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting.
I really enjoy all the music before and the actual moment.
All these years I'm here i think i only went there twice.
I don't go to the city.
-
I don't either, Seyla!
I have been decorating the house all day, in between breaks here and there. Have the main tree up, the diningroom tree up, and I even have a tiny Granny tree this year.
-
Hate the city too!
SAG was good.
-
I am making OCF tonight.
-
-
I had to think of something besides turkey leftovers, didn't I?
-
Yes, you did. I may have to do some ordering of OCF this weekend for my sons bday. He is having his friends over Sat and Sunday and he THINK he wants chicken fingers. That's the only OCF he likes. His friends love it all! Me too!
-
It's on Sheila!!
-
RCG, I glad you have your appetite back and that joke is a riot!!LOLOLOL
-
I have a friend in southern Maine who my dad mentored at the fire department - when my dad was dying, he assigned Rusty to watch out for me. That was 17 years ago and Rusty still emails me at least 3/week, mostly with jokes of that nature. I always write back that Charlie would not have meant for him to be sending me such things
Anyway, so the fire dept. part of that had extra meaning.
Deb, still no appetite. The metal taste is brutal this time.
Meece - we can start with a west coast event or try to get our east coast friends to meet us halfway - or even Chicago.
Sheila - I can watch the lighting on tv
Linda - OCF almost sounds good.....
I really really need to start decorating. I think it would help my 'tude.
-
I insist you put up at least 2 decorations tomorrow. I'm hoping they will help your mood.
-
I just asked my husband to bring up the boxes. That's a good start
I sent Seyla and Deb a joke but your FB doesn't have email - I asked them to forward to you. It's another slightly naughty. I couldn't get it on here at all...
-
I just PMed my email.
You mean my email on FB is not visible to my friends.
-
No it is visible to your friends but it ends with optimum which is not what you just pm'd.
