Yes RCG what Linda said......

I had a persimmon.
It became my favorite fruit.

So tired tonight - totally stressing about return to chemo on Monday. Plus we had to sleep on sofa's last night because painter didn't get my room finished. I am so happy though that it is no longer builder beige. Now it is warm and cozy looking and I cant wait to get everything put back together...will have time to send all kinds of jokes on monday. Tomorrow is about getting ready for the next two weeks. So Costco, grocery store, drug store...you all know the drill.
Tonight my son called to meet up for dinner and drinks. I am so confused - she is so hot and cold. Either way, I got to sit and chat and laugh with my son and that is what really matters. He would like to go to one of my chemo appts with me - did any of you do anything like that?
-
I didnt but most people bring someone with them.
Thank You all for a fun evening.
Its time to watch some TV.
Good Night
-
My DH always goes but not sure if I want DS to see that, but he is a grown married man, right?
It's time for HOUSE.
Loved all the jokes and virtual cocktails tonight.
-
There is nothing wrong if he is the one who wants to come.

When my mother was having chemo she didn't have a port they did what was called the push. So she didn't spend hours in the treatment room. I don't think they were aggressive enough with her treatments. She didn't loose her hair it just thinned a little, then 3 yrs later it returned then she got the aggressive treatments, but it was just too fast for them the keep up with the cancer.
I didn't go to any of her treatments which makes me feel bad, I should have.
-
Don't feel bad Deb, she wouldn't want you too.
Good luck tomorrow Diane. I know it sucks. We will be thinking of you.
Good Monring!
-
You guys really racked up the posts yesterday.
I took a break from the boards and baked. I made fudge, stained glass window cookies, sugar cookie cut outs, peppermint bark, spritz cookies, and . . . . for you Seyla......persimmon cookies. They are my DSs favorite, and there are no more left. I am making a care package to send to japan.
-
Wow Meece, you are one cooking machine, LOL. I have a cousin that is in Afghanistan last year we sent him Christmas presents. I'll bet he would like homemade cookies.
-
Just make sure that when you send cookies, you send plenty. The guys (and gals) use them to barte, or to jsut extend to friends.
-
I would love to post a picture of him, he is about 5 years younger than me. He works over there as a guard in Kabul.

HI....Nothing exciting or interesting going on today.
To Be Cont..................

Sheila - Good Morning - I think most days I don;t have something exciting, but it is always interesting in some way, even if because you post something funny

DH, DD and I will probably go out for dinner for our 40th.

Enjoy your day Deb.
Dawn dish detergent is on sale at CVS for .88 maybe I go and get some.

The CVS sale sounds exciting
Deb - have a great evening...
-
LOL on the CVS sale. Sheila is a wild one!
Hope you all had a nice Sunday. I've been busy decking the halls....which is better than the kids!
-
No CVS today.
Tomorrow I have to go to post office to mail Christine's package and I can stop then.
I will ask for a raincheck if they sold out.
Now I will proudly and happily have my Avocado salad.
-
I'm back, and stuffed again. We went to the Glenview in North Chelmsford. Never had a bad meal there and their portions are large.I had Prime Rib med rare and a baked potato.
-
I had salmon and AG. Deb, you eat like I would love to!!!! YUM!
-
Still haven't tried Salmon yet. This week I'm starting to cut back a lot on my eating. I have to loose weight.
-

Did someone mention salmon and AG.
That will be my tomorrow nights dinner.
My nice friend/neighbor upstairs sent some Apple pie but I know I did the right thing put it in the garbage.
I didn't snack for a week now. I had tea that really feels me up.
Enough about food.
Deb...I envy you, so happy you had a nice dinner.
-
Is there a rule in this club that you have to subsit primarily on salmon and AG?

I used to hate salmon before BC. Since I am trying to stay away from estrogen, I also gave up meat, for the most part. Now I love salmon.
