Thinking Out Loud.....

Seyla, do you go shopping every day? Is it a local market. I just hate fighting the crowds in the grocery stores.
-
I love to go shopping everyday to get fresh fruits and veggies. I don't go every day but do go several times a week.
Thanks for wearing the hat!
-
Sey what unmentionable things?
Thanks guys for your thoughts.....hopefully the one I got will be on the road soon about 2 weeks maybe....got the insurance and maybe the title and tags this week and then the work and inspection..
Deb thanks for the hat and the thoughts on the trip.....the pix are beautiful so glad you had a good time and very proud of you, I couldn't do it.
Linda how are you doing now that the kids are in school, are you doing things for yourself?

Sandy
Work tomorrow and Michael is finally getting his cast off, oh and he didn't go to school again, says he is sick, he just might be this time, flu it appears, so of course the rest of us will get it....does it ever end.
-
I'm starting to get stiff sore muscles right now, Rebekah keeps telling me to stretch. But it hurts.
-
You need a warm bath Deb! Go relax!
You don't bitch Sandy. You vent!! I vent too. Teenagers are tough! And you have grandkids too.
Unmentionable things..................are they green or do they have salted fins?
-
I bought Cadbury milk chocolate, Dove very dark chocolate. Goldfish made with whole grain I checked the difference has more fiber in it. Already gone
And an individual cup of friendyl's ice cream sundae 6oz.
Meece everything is walking distance here. i usually go in the middle of the day when its at least crowded. I have one small supermarket around the corner I do shop there too.
Whoever has a sale Im there.
Hi Sandy...I will be thinking of you Wednesday.♥
This week they were doubling $1.00 coupons so i had to go.
-
MMMMMM Chocolate. Rebekah and I built a campfire on the banks of the Saco River behind the place we were staying (Sky Valley) and made Smores.
-
-
Linda, thought of you when we drove by the Squam Lakes. The Inn At Golden Pond, the Boulders motel.
-
I stay about .5 miles from ther boulders, diwn by Walters Basin. I just love it there! Your s'more looks like a healthy breakfast to me!
-
-
The nurses that come in to help my father in the morning woke me up a 8:00, they said he was refusing to get dressed. There was a resident breakfast going on and it stated in the agenda to wear you PJ's all day. The CNA nurses did not know that until Kim the event coordinator was passing by his room and said everyone is to wear their PJ's to the breakfast. My father just didn't think to say, "look at the agenda." I guess it's the dementia. So I was up at 8:00, GOOD MORNING!
-
zI think the nurse needs to look t the agenda. I hope your dad had fun!
-
I hope so too, he kept telling them I'm going to breakfast in my pajamas and they were saying no. Dummys.
This is a sample of the trail we hiked.
-
Thanks so much for posting the pix ........Sey where do you find them?
-
Wow, Bonnie, that sounds wonderful! So does the chocolate!
-
Bonnie...I never tried that.
Now I'm 1 person grocery part is lighter.
But fruit and veggies if you saw me you would think I was shopping for family of 5.
Deb...good for your father that he spoke up.
Sandy...Are you talking about my Good Morning picture? If you are I'm always googling images.

May all of You wonderful people be blessed
and please take care. God love You and so
do I,
PS having a hot flash at 10 at night, fun to
grow old.
-
I have had them every night for the past week, they are keeping me up all night. No, Foots, growing old is not fun!!
GOOD LUCK TODAY SANDY!!! I WILL BE THINKING OF YOU! ♥♥♥
My onc appointment is at 10 and it should be as useless as always!
-
I will be thinking of you Linda, I have a good feeling that everything will be just fine.
Hi FOOTS, in the beginning I had a lot of hot flashes but they seem to be far and few between and not as intense after being on Arimidex for over 3 yrs. Knock on wood.
PeaPod from Stop & Shop has home delivery for groceries around hear. Never tried it.
-
Linda, I am curious. Why is your onc appointment useless? Do they not confirm any tests you've had, or do an exam?
-
Good Morning, wow you are up early Meece.
-
I am on staycation this week, my biological clock is still set to work time, darn it.
-
I am up by five every morning. Just don't necessarily get to this thread in my 45 minutes of computer time.
-
Hi Meece,
SHe does a breast exam and asks how I am. Nothing else really. My BS and her NP do and read my mammos, ultrasounds and MRI. The onc gets copies of them too. It's like I see too many doctors. My primary is really good too. What does your onc do for you?
Enjoy your staycation DEb and good luck today. I hope it doesn't hurt!
-
Thanks for the flowers Sey, nervous not sure what it is just a meeting with the interventional radiologist, and blood work, maybe cause I know that after today my life will begin to change yet again because of this stupid disease. I know that it is cancer in my lung, it was just a matter of time til the nodules got big enough to biopsy, my concern is that this mass wasn't there 6 months ago and now it is like 4cm....anyway, it is what it is so I will have to plug ahead and do it, not really having a choice. The first time I got chemo etc. was started November 10th and then radiation 2 weeks later, so through the holidays and I feel like I am going to ruin the holidays for my kids, no matter how old they are.
Again, thanks for listening....
foots thanks for checking in
Linda thanks for you kind words
Deb continuing to love the hat!!
Let you know later on how the interview went. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!!
ME
-
Im so happy to find all of you here this morning.
Good Morning.
-
Hi ladies - checking in
Sandy and Linda - thinking of you both today at your appointments
Deb - Wow - what a hike! I don't think I could do it. My feet were killing me just walking around a track for a few hours - 7 hrs up a mountain? What an accomplishment. Is your soreness subsiding, I hope?
Sey - LOL on your unmentionables you bought at the store. That looks like my grocery list!
We have PeaPod here too. I haven't used it, but I'm glad it's available if I need it. My in-laws have used it.
Hi Meece and Bonnie and Foots! Now who did I miss? I claim chemobrain!
Trying to catch up on my ironing today. Joy. And trying to get up the nerve to email a resume. I'm putting that off pretty successfully.
