I just talked with John and DEB! Things are about the same and her follow up with her onc. was rescheduled because he was out of town on Monday. John is taking Deb to a neurologist tomorrow to see if there is anything they can do with rehab. Oh it was so good to hear Deb's voice. I'm not sure she knew who I was but we visited anyway. John said most likely in about an hour she'll tell him I called her.
I will call next week and find out how she's doing. I told her we all loved her and lots of prayers were being sent her way.

Hoping you and your family Deb are well Deb.

Dear Deb and John, Nope, it's not warmer here in Oregon. We are just beginning a long cold snap. It is currently snowing and it will be in the teens and 20s all week long and supposedly into next week. I guess I have Alaska to thank since this is arctic air!! I hope Deb is doing better. I think of her every day! Anne
PS I am attaching a picture of the snow on our deck--it is now about 2 inches deeper than when I took it.
-
Good to hear you are making progress Deb. Remember the turtle won the race!
Dear Deb and John, we are getting some of the cold weather we get every year called the Artic high, however, more like a low lol. Experiencing -37 with a wind chill last night, and if it weren't for the company Christmas party...hubby and I would have stayed in last night with a warm fire. Soon as we got home, yes indeed we put the fireplace to good use
.

Deb, John and Girls: would love to hear a "Merry Holidays" from y'all!!!

Sending thoughts for a wonderful Christmas Season for the entire Clonan family! Thanks to John for keeping us posted and for doing a wonderful job of keeping Deb comfortable during this set back. You seem to have one of the strongest families (and fun) that I've ever known.
My Christmas wish is to see even the smallest of posts from Deb.........I wish, I wish, I wish.....

I SPOKE TO DEB!
She was outside at a ski meet.
SHE SOUNDED GOOD - like the old Deb!
She needs all the prayers and good vibes and white light we can send her because they need to find a better med that will not give her bad side effects and more effectively fight the mets.
We are working on it! John is willing to take her anywhere and if we can find a good doc in NYC I have plenty of room for them here!!!
She really sounded good tho!!
Love to all,
g

Gina - Thanks for the update ... I'm sure it was wonderful to speak with her and have her sound soooo good. I'm praying that they will find a better med that will effectively fight the mets and allow her to not have those dang side effects. It's fabulous that John is willing to take her anymore and that she might end up in New York!! Deb and her family are in my thoughts and prayers every day!!

Deb, I am so jazzed that you are sounding good and feisty!
Don't you know better than to stand out in the COLD!?! Take Gina up on some options - NYC will feel positively balmy after the frigid weather out your way!
I am sooooooo happy to hear this news, Gina!
