Dear John -
I'm sorry to hear of Deb's difficulties with swelling in her brain.
AlaskaDeb is a huge part of the "Recurrence and Mets" section. All of us know her there. She's been a great source of inspiration and humor.
One of the other posters in that section alerted us to your post ... but I think you'd get some great support and info at the Recurrence & Mets" section.
You're both in my heart and prayers,
CalGal

Dear Deb and John,
I'm so sorry this road has taken a bumpy turn lately. I can't imagine the frustration over it all. It finally hit me yesterday, being treated for a staph infection in my port, cancer is dangerous but then so is the treatment! Hang in there, Deb, I keep feeling that good days are still ahead for you!! Have hope, and know that we are all thinking and praying for you all the time. We really are. Use those docs to move heaven and earth for you, that's their job and promise.
John, hang in there and thanks so much for keeping us posted. Ring those bells and make those docs do what they're supposed to. No complacency allowed!
Big, prayerful hugs,
Susan

John. We are all so grateful for your example of partnership-thru-it-all. Use the energy you garner from the community here, to minister to your loving wife in our stead.
Prayers of abundant blessings for you and yours.
