LIFE'S A BEACH!

Here is a picture I took a couple years ago when my son lived in Northern Ontario: (I just had to get a water shot in!)
-
Here's one of my favourite shots from that weekend:
-
Here it is again to avoid the ad!
-
loving the photos Barbe..
and Crissy, they even have beaches at Legoland if you look closely
-
-
This is our bay
-
this is N. Cal. but in the summer
-
-
Ok, those were the ones I saw on the way to this one Barbe, in Photobucket my photos get
very mixed up..
I took that in Buchard Gardens near Victoria BC
-
Thought that last one looked familiar.
-
chabba, that was a thrill to see the gardens
-
Some day I hope to get to see them.
-
My neighbor got a new boat! We are going sailing this weekend!
Saw these and thought of Lisa.
-
Bougainvillea, lovely!!!
-
Thanks for the pix keep them coming!!! Am going to the beach this weekend (hopefully I will get to the water) I will take pix!!
-
BARBARA, can I tag along??
-
I think this beach needs some sun...somebody might recognize Oregon
-
Do they have sun in Oregon? (Sorry that just slipped out.) My dad's family settled in Oregon and I have been there on many a warm day.
-
My sister lives in Portland..well Lake Oswego, Portland.
We used to have a power yacht. We called it Haven on Earth. Amazing how everyone read that as HeAven on Earth!!! People just don't pay attention. We got rid of it when it got to $750 to fill the gas tank for the weekend.
edited to correct a typo as I wasn't paying attention to myself!
-
Wow, that is expensive. Best too rent something so at least you don't have the monthly payments and insurance as well.
-
We worked out that it cost $21,000 a year. It was 40 feet long so it couldn't be brought out of the water by a trailer, but had to be lifted and then shrink wrapped for the winter. Nice at the time, but those days are over. We have such a short period of time to enjoy it in up here, too.
-
Thank you, Barbe, SoCAl, for the beautiful pictures, wow these were great to come home to. Barbara, have fun on the boat!!!!!!! California, here I come, not yet but soon. Have a great night. Kathy
-
So when do you plan to visit your sister Barbe? I can hit Portland for a weekend.
-
Her ass is burning in the Bonfire of the Goddesses....sorry!
-
I kinda thought that might be the case after I wrote that (had some faded memory somewhere). Oh well! You can come to Oregon & visit me-our weather's better!
-
Barbe, I bet my sister is burning with yours...
-
I can't wait to see So. Cal pics from you, Kathy! Awesome pics, ladies. Lisa, I love Legoland! When you are on their rollercoasters, you can see the ocean. I used to have a season pass, and was there a lot. They are so fantastic with special needs kids. I'll dig around my photos, and see if I can find any pics.
Lisa, the flower fields in Carlsbad have just opened for the season, according to their website. Do you visit there? I would imagine you would love their ranunculus.
-
Hi Beachyettes.....
I need a peacefull night at the Beach.....life is so ...........LIFE!
-
We were on a boat ride that had a great view of "New York". Legoland, in Carlsbad, Ca, has a central attraction that has all the major cities of the US built completely out of legos.
This is the French Quarter in New Orleans, complete with a Mardi Gras parade.
Still standing in front of New Orleans. A flatbottom paddleboat is in the foreground. San Francisco's Golden Gate bridge in the backround.
Thanks, Julz! Those are beautiful, serene pics. I'll look at them again before I go to bed. They're so relaxing.
-
Faith you very eloquently said a lot of the same things I feel about this site, both in chat and the boards. And yes, meeting our sisters when possible is such frosting on the cake it's unbelievable, at least for me!
Barbe that red leaf picture is unbelievable ... I copied that to my pics!!
Blondie where are you going this weekend? I'm jealous!!!
