We're heading toward the beach!!!
We're heading toward the beach!!!!
-
Sometimes I just come here and look at all the beautiful photos. Aaaaahhh.
-
Faith, soak up the sun rays and have a nice splash for us! I know how you like polka dots, so I found you Polka Dot Beach!
-
Welcome, Maya!
-
Indeed, Maya, WELCOME!!!!
This little thread aspires to gentle images to bask in & friendships to savor.
The sun just popped outta the clouds for my hour of real ocean-side beach!!!!
I feel so very fortunate!!!
I see sailboats in the inner-coastal!!!!!
Here I come.
*****Maya, will have to find you some flip flops at a later date.
The real thing is just across the causeway, now!!!
-
MissyB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How on earth did you ever find a gen-u-ine polka dotted beach???
I just inserted a slide in my power-point presentation for tomorrow of a little dittie, "Ladybug, Ladybug fly up high............."How very delightful to see those ladybug polka dots covering a whole beach!!!!
You're the best!!!!!!
-
Faith, well then, the vista of Ladybug Polka Dot Beach is just what you needed to see today, to fill you up with more joy for those very special kiddos that you make so happy!
-
Maya is this the best place ever or what?
To all.... I don't do the "I love you all" thing so often, but tonight I'm feeling that, so please know that I truly have a kind of love in my heart for you all. If for any reason you're reading this and it's one of those nights where you feel like crud, and wonder why the F this is all happening ... stand back, stand up, take a deep breath, exhale ... and know - we love you. Sometimes, that's all it takes.
-
Ah Marlegal, we love you too!!! I know what you mean though. I get rushes of love for all the women who put their lives out here, the good, the bad and the ugly. We ARE truly amazing!!!
-
Love you, too, Marlegal! Faithie, so glad you are back here where it is warm. Here is a pic of my beach town. My house is at the point of the red arrow.
-
Our collective heart.....
Barbara, you are a lucky lady! That is like living at a resort.
-
Had lunch today with 5 other women from the boards and/or chat rooms. Faith - PatMom did join us...she's a regular now
At least until she moves to North Carolina anyway! We were all so busy yacking for three solid hours that no one remembered to take a picture - duh! Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon
-
Hey Mary! It's good to see you had a great Saturday!
Happy Mardi Gras to all you beachies.
Be sure and pick a mask to match your flip flops:)
Always gotta have a King's Cake too ---
-
Oh, Coonie. Thanks so much for the Mardis Gras inspiration.
We are home.
Safe & sound.
Twelve days on the road.
Today was utterly ridiculous on so many levels.
It would take a novel to explain.
I'm so glad to be home.
Everything worked out well in the end.
It took a committee of two dozen to make it work.
I kid you not.
Anyhow.
We got to the beach.
The actual beach.
The Atlantic OCEAN!!!!
Those are my well-worn, well-traveled flip-flops!
Maya, I extend them to you for your use here on our virtual sands.
-
I know you're glad to be home Faith.
It's fun to travel, but then, there is NO place like home!
~~ Enjoy~~
Welcome Maya
-
It was so good to have nearly an hour to walk the shores.
I found a good 'reed' to write a few heart-felt blessings.
CurlieQ...... I've been sending you the very bestest of my thoughts.
The ocean is so very restorative, even to walk the sands for minutes.
The wind was howling.
The surf was pounding!
-
Thanks so much for the mask, Coonie! They match my flip flops perfectly.
Glad you're home, safe and sound, Faith. Ridiculous days are memorable, though! They always give me a good laugh (after the fact).
-
I forgot to take a pix of the beach, went to Atlantic City to take my grandson to lunch and we were at the beach, it was cold out so he didn't want walk to the water. Sorry, but the beach at AC is still there.
-
Those are some seriously great flip-flops.
They make mine look truly mundane.
Here's a bit of the splash...........
