Lisa, how beautiful!!!!! Thank you for capturing the moment and sharing it with us. You DO have a talent Sistah.
-
Gorgeous as usualy Lisa! Well done capturing the feeling.
Sharon did you take that shot? I love it too! I was wondering how to explain it when chabba said "watercolor birds" and that's it!
Meece, these are Canadian gulls, that's probably his beak and this is the wrong thread for Cheetos, but VERY good eye!!!
-
Unlike so many here, I have NO photos skills. I am a Googler. I purchased a new camera this year and other than once when Kk downloaded the pics for me I don't even know how to do that!!
The pic in my avatar I did take and for the life of me I don't know how I even got it there because I have tried to change it to a new one unsuccessfully.
-
That's funny because I have trouble changing my avatar picture too! And everytime it works I think "Now what did I do THAT time that was different?" Never figured it out yet!....sigh.
-
The avatar pictures are probably the easiest of all the pics to change.
-
Just go to your home, click add picture then browse the files on your compter until yo find the one you want. It doesn't have to come off the internet, or be uploaded into PhotoBucket or the like.
-
Lisa, a couple of winters ago, DH and I were in Oxnard and stood on the rocky jetty watching the big waves like that for over an hour. It was mesmerizing!
I would post one of the pictures right now, but PhotoBucket seems to be down this morning.
-
"The avatar pictures are probably the easiest of all the pics to change."
LMBO, my photo skills have sunk to an all time low. Hehehehehehe.
-
If you haven't downloaded your camera, I guess that wouldn't be so easy.
-
I've downloaded it once. But someone else did it and I don't remember what to do.......plug the camera in to the puter I guess and see what happens?
-
Sigh..........
-
Photo Bucket is back up
We watched as this boat tried to leave the inlet to the harbor. It looked so precarious!
-
You CA ladies are so lucky you don't have to travel to enjoy the ocean. If I lived there I would be going daily to get my fix.
-
-
Radiation is over. Other than a really tired left leg.... I am on the mend. Will be glad to get off the steriod - they make me sweat so so so bad. Now is the time for a long rest on the beach.
-
Good to hear now you can rest up durring the holidays.Happy holidays Dream.
-
Perhaps you can ask santa to scootch over and you can both relax in the hammock.
-
Dream, what good news to hear you are finished rads. You must be so relieved. Gentle healing wishes to you.
-
Good to know Santa won't have problems finding us.
-
glad to hear that dream..lots of sunshine on the beach to relax
Meece, that poor boater..bet he is plum scared...thanks for the pix
-
Sharon, does your camera have a memory card?
-
Yes it does Lisa.
-
I also happen to know the boater was low on fuel because while we were at the harbor, he was trying to find someplace to fuel up, and the fuel wasn't working there.
Sharon does your computer have a slot for you to insert your memory card?
-
Yes, I bought a memory card when I got the camera. They put it in at the store. Not to worry, one of these days I'll take a fit and plug the darned thing in to the puter. How much harm can I do? Not much I assume.
-
If you can get it into the computer, perhaps I could walk you through getting your pic downloaded. PM me if you are interested.
-
If you plug the card into your computer it "should" automatically open a program to download the new media! You're more than halfway there then!
-
Thx ladies.

I miss being at my beach (to newbies, I have a place in a resort area in South Jersey where we go April to November) Went to some of my pics from last summer, and this one jumped out at me ... just love that sunlight on the water. This is the Delaware Bay, not the Atlantic Ocean, but at this part of the island, it's almost as big for my eyes!!
-
On my phone, first airport of my "red eye" home -- thru the night.
Today was THE most amazing day!!! My hostess family took me on a tour thru Zion Natl Park. We had several hours to explore and got to the end of our adventure just as the sun was setting.
To say it was breatth taking is an over-simplification. I can't wait to download them have several hours to layover in Salt Lake will see if I can find electricity.
