LIFE'S A BEACH!

That has to be one of the best things on a birthday, to get to sit around and not worry about the clock. Soak it up, Faithie.
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FAITH!!!
-
there even is a meteor shower up in the sky to mark your birthday...
if you are up, go outside and look up into the eastern sky
-
I couldn't see it with the city light reflecting off the fog. Bummer. Needed to see something like that tonight.
-
great cakes ladies, im still eatin, a long as you keep it comin!! congrats, again, faith! 3jays
-
Are you up late or up early, 3jays?
-
Hi! this is for Faith ..
-

ne for you on another thread, but it bears repeating!
-
I think Elizabeth's cake wins!!!
-
It is pretty, Barbe, and who wouldn't want to celebrate #25 again?
-
Oooooh, you're good! I saw those as squiggles!!!!
-
I saw them as numbers because my mind is always squiggled.
-
Crap -- I thought they were just decorative squiggles.
-
I could erase my post and we can all think they were squiggles. I thought it was in reference to feeling young, sorry.
-
My 90 year old mother painted this
-
I hope you display that year round. Beautiful and very special.
-
It's OK Meece!
Lisa -- I can see where you got your eye for beauty. I love your Mom's painting.
-
Looks like talent runs in your family, Lisa.
-
I certainly didn't get the drawing gene..but I love all her work
-
Lisa ..your mom,s painting work is very nice .Please keep it in the archieve for next generation.
-
What a gift she has passed on to you Lisa!!!
-
wow Lisa.. all that talent in your family.. my MIL paints beatifully, when my DH signs a ck. you can'
t even READ it. guess he got his dads' genes.. he's a dr., writes like a doctor.. my FIL; not my DH, unfortunately... 3jays

WOWOW!!!
KK!!!!! It's terrific to see you beach-side.... AND that cake seriously must have been designed with 'me' in mind!! I only saw squiggles, until Meece interpreted them for us. I think the back side of the cake has a squiggled 29 -- because I am now officially "faithandfifty-FOUR!!!
I decided way-back-when, that I would not add a year to my name, each Dec as I thought that might be confusing. So I am frozen in time as the youthful faithandfifty, but having no secrets, of course you best buddies can do the math on your own.
Milestones all over the place. Today was my last "official" visit to a program that I've been going to monthly for the last 14.5 years! Sigh. It's a good thing, this moving forward, but these farewell passages are pulling on my heart strings a tad.
Since the grand-kiddos are here, I will always be swinging thru OH to see them & will create return 'surprise' visits to my various schools around town...... so this isn't saying goodby forever, or not exactly.
Now I ramble.
Lisa. I am soooooooo impressed with you mom's painting. Such an inspiration to think of that capability as a 90 year old. I think in this next chapter of my life, I will be investing in some paint brushes!

DH is bringing a trailer home later today & the packed boxes will be stowed inside..... he's taking a trip down to FL on Thurs with this load of what we've been able to get organized so far.
Reality is starting to dawn.
But tonight I have a 'big' dinner with some hob-nobbing to do, so can't think about it just yet.
Thanks again to all for the birthday "fun" and I'll add that lovely charm to my charm bracelet. Thanks Raj.

KK....... I forgot to ask, have you made your genuine, IRL, beach reservation yet? Have you decided on a location?? Are you using the Mum travel registry for your decision making??
-
We are off on Friday for Mexico again.DH says its just too cold here.
He took this photo last time we were in Mexico I suggested he use it as his Ecard. So Happy holidays Ladies from Tinyfishy.
-
Love it Mum! I happen to know that poinsettias are indigenous to Mexico. I do though, wonder why they need so much watering when they come up here?????
-
We have lots of poinsettias here in S. Cal too...lots grow
around houses...but occasionally we get a frost and they
do not like that..
Muma..your ecard is beautiful..have a ball in Mexico
vaya con cuidado
-
So true, Lisa. My brother who used to make regular travels into Mexico on scientific trips, says he will think twice before the next one.
I ditto Lisa, Go with Caution, Mum.
-
Sorry I'm late Faithy but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!! Hope you had a great day and have many, many, many happy returns!!!!!! YAHOO!!!!
