Ack, you win hands down. I have lovely imagine in my head now!
-
Lisa!! You and Dennis broke up? I can't believe it! I thought he was your Prince Charming. I'm so sorry! Are you doing okay?
-
Annie's user ID was HeatherBLocklear. I'm sure you remember her now, don't you Lisa? She was sooooo funny. Always signed her posts with something like "Annie Camel Spit". She was one of the smartest ladies on the boards. I loved reading her posts. It's so sad that she's gone.
Hugs,
Karen
-
Oh my gosh I did not realize who Annie was either I would read many of her posts, you are so right she was a hoot- this stupid disease.
-
Cathi - thanks for the invitaton - UB & I might take you up on it if Sue decides she is only going to Florida - but we definitely are NOT into disco. haha. UB is a huge jazz fan though.
It's sickening that we lost another fabulous lady to this freakin disease. Its getting VERY old.
Lisa- ??????????????? You & Dennis are no more????????? Is that why you have been so down lately??
Fumi - where the heck do you think you are going??? We need you here.
Gotta run,
AE

I know ladies...I am kinda surprised myself by the break up...even though I did it.
Long story short..I had not seen Dennis since the day after my b'day..which didn't go well, due to snowstorm and all. Anyhow..I think his feelings changed some...then in the absence of seeing him...we both felt differently. He is very, very involved with his business...and doesn't have much time to share with me. At first I understood, because I am busy too. But then it was more and more, no time. He has been single for many many years...and is very much set in his ways. So...I thought, if things have changed and all...lets just let it go. I am ok...not really down about it. I was a little several weeks ago, when things began to change. But I just told him last night. Not really sure how he feels. You know men...who knows. I am better off single...no men for me!
Fumi...get back her right now missy!
I do realize now who annie is. I went looking and realized her screen name....I do know her..very smart lady! Damn....so quick....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
xoxo

I need a new avatar. My hair is always curly now..and almost to my shoulders!! Maybe Olivia can take a new one for me.
-
Ae we also love Jazz (Ed's favorite music) so we do play some at parties (of coarse Ed wishes more), Our Jazz collection is almost as big as our Disco, I am completely and totally in love with Michael Buble at present, we have 3 HUGE Jazz concerts IN THE SPRING THAT ARE JUST AWESOME.
We saw Rick Braun and Richard Elliot not to long ago also.

Hi Sisters xxxx
Ok a couple of things... I keep getting strange private messages ???
Also I dont mean to be sad or anything... but often a certain sister will pass thru my mind as she has done with the sad and sudden passing of Annie ... but do you remember way back when I first started posting...I think she was having chemo the same time as you Karen...she was called Karilynne or something and worked in a peoles home...she was real sick with a bloated tummy one day and she was going visitng friends...a frequent poster that never ever came back...well I really wish I knew where she was ...if shes ok ... or not...
I am just waffling here I just need to let her know I am thhinking of her...was it karrianne ermmm cant quite remember....

-
Oh no no no no...what am I talkin bout...sisters ...tell me the states you live in ...we say if I come on my own I can travel xxx
-
Fla just means Florida Sue, you have to decide on which coast and then what area. I am on the West Coast and closet major airport to me is Tampa - TIA.
If you are looking at East Coast and Disney area that would be Orlando.
-
And whats the mileage between the two airports ...
is there a south east
is this the states everyone lives in..
Ok strategically ...I drop off in FLA... How far is everyone time /distance/wise from this state...AND WHAT STATES DO YOU LIVE IN....XX
-
Netty
Where are you tonight xxx Pm me your phone number I can call you Thursday if you like xxx
-
Sue I think we are all spread out through the states. As far as Florida Orlando is about 2-3Hrs from where I live, there are lots of places in between however.
I'll help you anyway I can, and if we do plan on meeting up here in the Sunshine State I'll do my best to help everyone with arrangements. While we don't have Disney on this Coast we do have Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and lots of cool things to do - and of coarse the beach is always just the perfect place.
Are you planning on a summer trip, as AE mentioned it is real hot, even us natives swelter sometimes.
-
Indian Rocks Beach
Great Hotel about 3 minutes from my house -great pool and Tiki bar
-
Wow thx Cathi...I will look at that link tomorrow !!! I need hot sunshine and a beach and a rest !!!!!!!!
Hey this is great.... but most of all in the big wide world I need to give you ALL MANY HUGS AND LOVES .....

Much Love xxx
-

I will look too tmw xxxx
Sweetdreams mini muffins xxxxx
-
HUGS right back at ya.
-
Sue, AE, I feel bad having to tell you that Karilynn died last summer. I remember reading about it on a thread in the Recurrences and Metastasis section.
But some happier thoughts: my sister has a beach house very near Cathi in Florida. If it isn't rented for the time you plan to come, I think it would be a great place to have a bunch of us stay. She lets relatives have it very cheap ( I think one of my brothers and his family is getting it for their Easter break).
So get some dates together, girl, and we'll come up with some plans. I'm in New York, close to New York City, but there are lots of flights to Florida from here.
-
Nancy there was a karilynn that died but this sister had a name like karilynanne or something...ooohhh AE what on earth was she called xxx
I cant wait to come to the US
I really must get to bed its gone 1
karilanne ... AE help me out... xxx
see ya tmw ... have some nice moments living in them and just being xxx
-
Also ladies if there are enough coming and it is off peak season the hotels will do discount/package rates.
-
Her name was Karyll, and you're right, AE, she was from Canada. I was thinking about her just the other day. She just dropped off the boards. I'm very concerned because she was having issues and feared mets. I wish there was some way to contact her.
Hugs,
Karen
-
Judy, I love that name hugaghan. I hope you feel all of the love and hugs from all of us when you wrap up in it.
-
Jane - I like the story about your cat and I like what you said a "Trill", I have never heard that before. I think that's almost as cute as your cat. LOL
-
Oh - I remember Karyll well. The last time I remember her posting, she was feeling very unwell and had an appointment with her doctor the next week. She was going to stay with her friend or sister (?) for the weekend to distract herself & get some TLC. That was the last I remember hearing from her. We kept wondering where she was and what was the outcome of the doctor's visit. I remember saying that, if one of us were to suddenly die in an accident, nobody would know why we stopped posting so we should leave our log-in details somewhere in our house so that our nearest & dearest could post the news here and that would prevent the sudden mystery of our disappearance off these boards.
(((((((((Fumi)))))))))), with all this sadness of these wonderful women being taken by this stinking disease, I understand that you want to get away. However, I hope you will just take a break and then come back. It wouldn't be the same without you.
Cheryl, gentle hugs to you too. It's so good to see you back here. I hope you are feeling better each day. Once the drains come out, you should start to feel less discomfort.
Dink, that's the best way I can describe the sound my cat makes. If you have ever heard a mother cat greeting her kittens you will know what I mean. It seems to be something that female cats do more than males - it's such a sweet sound.
Lisa, I am so sorry about your breakup with Dennis. I think you deserve a lot better. I do think that some people can get awfully stuck in routines and don't allow enough time for relationships. Sure it's important to do your best in the workforce but, when all is said and done, relationships are the most important thing in life. Would love to see you with your long curls - sounds gorgeous!
Love to everyone
Jane xoxxo
