liz and Madison ~ I sent a small box to each of you today.
Joanne58 ~ Welcome! Hopefully, liz or Madison will contact you either by pm or here on the board.
And with that, I'm out of here.
Take care, everyone!
Love, Artemis -
Thanks,Artemis! I'm so glad the project is still going
Hope to hear from someone, soon!

Thanks girls! I have 3 boxes of hugs ready to go out Friday. I can't tell you all again how much you are appreciated! Thanks for helping with the pics. My brain just couldn't figure it out!
Hugs!
-
Thought I would post this for any new girls. The squares should be 7"x9". Crotched or knitted, multi-colored or solid color yarn (medium weight, acrylic). Be creative! If you are able to add the solid black black border, it should be a double-row. Have fun!
-
Hi Girls! I'm posting this for Liz.
She just finished this MASTERPIECE for a dear sister in Illinois who has been courageously struggling with the bc beast. I'm sure some of you will recognize your squares. Isn't it a beauty!
Thanks Liz for coordinating, stitching and shipping. I really appreciate your dedication!
-
^^^ Cathy rcvd the afghan!
She LOVES her afghan and appreciates such a kind and loving show of support.
Liz & all the girls who contribute...THANKS for making Cathy feel extra special!

i definately recognize some of my squares !!
hugs to all - hope the project is still ongoing ....

Hi, all,
Just wondering if this project continues? Are blocks still needed? If so, could someone PM me with an address to send finished blocks--thanks!
Hugs all around,
Binney -
Hi, Binney4 ~ I see that there's been no response here, so hopefully you got a PM, maybe?
I, too, am wondering if this project is still going on. Liz hasn't posted since November, and Madison hasn't posted in over a year. I loved being part of this, but I haven't been making/sending blocks because I just don't know what's happening anymore.
Not that I need to know every little detail, but it would be nice to know a little something.
I hope this post doesn't sound angry or snappish or accusatory because that's not how it's meant at all. I'm just curious.
I hope everyone's well!
Love, Artemis
-
waving at everyone too !
i have a few squares but also haven't sent any because not sure the project is still ongoing ....
-
hope the hugaghan gang in the mid-west is safe and sound !!!!
-
Waving back. Stay safe everyone
-
purple !! looking at the weather hope you all are hunkered down safe and sound on the hill !!
-
Hmm. "My Favorite Topics" told there were new posts here, but now I see there aren't. Wonder what that was all about?
Anyway, does anyone know anything at all about this project? Has anyone heard from Madison or Liz?
I hope you're all well!
-
It may be because we moved this to a different forum, and it alerted you. Sorry for the confusion!
-
I was never alerted
-
Ok, thanks, Mods!
-
ahhhh a new home ... thanks mods !
hi to all ...
i have a box of squares ready if anyone needs them ...
-
I just found you all. I knit and crochet and sew. I would love some info!
Lynne -
Hi Lynne, our "squares" are 7x9. Any pattern with a double crochet black border.
Sorry we've been Mia - Madison and I have been caring for our aging mothers as well as working. With the cooler weather coming in, I'm ready to start getting more boxes of hugs in the mail.
Hugs. -
clarification ..... 7x9 before the black border .... medium weight machine washable/dryable ....
liz !!! so nice to see you and to know that the project is still going ... i have some nice fun squares that mari has been doing (at night during those pesky ole hot flashes) and of course more of my more basic ones ... so will try to get a box off in the next week ... hugs to you and madison - i feel for you ... we have 5 family members 85 or older and 4 are having serious health issues ... michael and i have been back and forth between santa barbara, central california and washington state a number of times in the past few months due to broken or cracked bones, cancer surgery, kidney stones, moving dh's step dad into a retirement residence --- you name it ... hugs to you both !!
-
hope all is well
ok back to bordering .....

almost have a box put together - have to run up to central california to finish clearing out father-in-law's house after his move into a senior residence (which he seems to really like thank goodness - might have to do with bingo three times a week, a good chef for the dining room, and of course all the ladies)
will try to mail in 7-10 days depending on when we get back and how many squares still need borders ....

hi kids, I've had network issues. Sorry I haven't been by. Hugs to everyone. I did mail a box of hugs ( most squares made by myself) to a precious 2 1/2 year old going through chemo. I work with her grandmother.
These boxes arrive at just the right times.
Hugs to you all.
