Sue,
SO glad to see you are ok!! Sorry you had to spend the afternoon in the recliner, and sorry that you have to work tomorrow.
Kerry,
I think we are alot alike! I LOVE to shop, too! I am always glad when my SIL comes to visit, because she always wants to go shopping, and for me, I look for ANY excuse to shop!!
Wish,
I am feeling a little better... my neck still hurts some, but I think it's better than it was... I've been taking Ibuprofen, but I really do think that the pillows are helping, too. Unfortunately, it doesn't correct itself INSTANTLY!!! Oh... and I am going to start using a smaller purse, since I think that carrying a heavy bag also contributes to neck and back pain!
gsg,
Sorry you are having trouble with sciatica! OUCH! I had a bout with that back in March, and man, did it ever hurt! Hope you are feeling better soon!

Sue, Glad that you are O.K. Pedicures are my favorite. I just enjoy the moment and some wonderful person rubbing lotion on my feet of course and painting my toenails. I tell ya, I should have been born RICH, like maybe a Rockafeller or Ford or Trump Jr. Maybe some nice RICH family will adopt me.
Wish, Be careful of the salt. Can lead to water retention, as you know. I am sick of salads.Could go for the chocolate anytime.
Hanna, No, I did not have the Chicken Alfredo, but your description of it had me drooling. Does not take much to make me drool over food though. Sure sounds good though. Salads, YUK!!!!! Don't worry, when you are in the Nursing Home and you say that you are thirsty, we will get you a drink because we will all be in the same one. That would be some Nursing Home Administrator's WORST NIGHTMARE. Don't worry, No link needed, to get a drink. We would be the old broads sitting on our shiatsu massagers. We would drive our nurses to drink.
G, Where can I get a shiatsu massager? Sounds interesting!!!! Hope that you get some relief soon. You are far to busy for that.
Harley, I am up for shopping anytime. Never used to be like this. Just the last 1.5 years. Someone turned on the switch and now I cannot shut it off, and do not want to. Hope that your neck feels better. I have heard the heavy purse thing also.
Kes (Boy, am I HUNGRY!!!!!)
-
Kerry: You can order the shiatsu massagers on-line, but I would encourage you to get one like mine. It's got a professional-strength motor. I can't remember the brand. I'll look at it when I get home and post a link.
Wardrobe Update: LOL. Black skirt and paisley jacket and shell that it's in fall colors. Not sure how it reads on TV. Has black, olives, browns and gold thread running through it. I'm going back down there from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
I'm in a hurry. Gotta run.

-
gsg,
I'm going to watch you right NOW!!!
Hope to see you on CSPAN2!!!
Harley -
Hold it....I'm not on, Harley. I went down there but then somebody else showed up to do it and so I came back to my office. I'll be down there probably 3 times at least tomorrow for a total of 3 hours. I'll let you know the times.
-
Oh Crap! I missed you too then!

Oh Crap! I missed you too then!

Okay, Patrice, question? When you are down there, what do you do? Where do you sit? Or stand, or what? WHat's your job again? Brain fiasco here! Been around too much cement mixers today!

-
Yes, Patrice, I also would like to know if you are sitting at that desk that they show when no one is speaking... cause I thought that is where I saw you last time. Today, my dh and I watched, and we could not find anyone dressed as you were... so that is why. You weren't there! Please let us know WHERE you sit, so we can find you... or better yet, wave at us, when you are on camera! LOL
Tomorrow, I have to go see my surgeon, but I'll be home all morning, til about 1:00pm or so. Let me know if you'll be on, so I can watch!
Harley
-
G, I just wish that I had CSPAN2 so I could see your wordrobe!!!!! You must spend a small fortune on it!!!! Working tomorrow, but don't know what I will wear. It is supposed to be sunny here so will probably go with shorts or capris tomorrow. Summer is still here, I hope.
For dinner had spagetti and meatballs and SALAD!!!! I HATE SALAD!!!! Lost 3 pounds, don't know where it went. It sure didn't come off of my stomach!!!! They take on a life of their own!!!! The stomach wants to be it's own entity with it's own identity.. No wonder why they call it the battle of the BULGE!!!!! I think that it is still the baby BULGE!!!!
Kes
-
G, Just look at the camera and pull your ear like Carol Brunett used to do at the end of her show. When you are done you can do it. Not that I can see you do it at all!!!!

My first time down there today will be from 11:00 to 12:00. I'll post the rest of the schedule when I get to work.
There's two tables in front of the dais. As you face the dais, I sit at the one that is on the left...and I'm in the far left chair. Sometimes I have to get up and get stuff from the Senators or from the people at the dais, so you may see me walking around a bit. If there's a vote going on, I get up and stand along the wall to the left of the dais.
Today I'm going to wear a leopard print dress with a black tuxedo jacket.
Kerry: Good going on the 3-pound weight loss!!! You can wear shorts and YOU'RE losing weight!!!! I wish I could trade places with you. I don't spend a fortune on my clothes....I try not to anyway. Usually look for stuff on sale. Also, I never know when I'm on camera so I can't really gesture to people.
I'm late. Should have been in the shower 10 minutes ago. Story of my life. Later, everybody!
-
Patrice,
So now I know where you sit, so I can keep an eye out for you! Yes, I DID see your cream color skirt last week! You look GREAT!!
I was only kidding, about asking you to wave... My dh is retired Navy, and he was in the U.S. Navy Band. Whenever he was playing for a ceremony that was being televised, I would ask him to wave... He told me that he would be in BIG trouble if he acted up in front of the camera!! LOL
WoW! Leopard print!! I wish I had something in leopard print.
-
Seriously, you need something bright red or ORANGE like the lady yesterday! WHEEWwwwwwwe! She stood out from everyone and everything on there yesterday! My TV isn't getting a good enough pic, so unless we catch a close up, I probably wouldn't recognize you from ADAM!

But I'll watch! The lady in your seat was so hard to see on my TV, that untill she actually MOVED, I didn't even know she was there! That background is enough to blend in with easily I would suppose!
Looking forward to 11 again! Be there and we will too!

-
Wish,
That is so funny, about the lady who sat in Patrice's seat yesterday! I thought the same thing, because she was dressed in BROWN, and her hair was BROWN. It all blended together, and the desk was brown, too!
I'll be watching at 11:00!!!
-
Me 2~ I've got an appt with the pcp for these hips this afternoon. Sure he won't find much, but hoping he doesn't say to deal with it! I took 3 motrin before bed again and woke up from the pain even then!
And now I can't put full weight on going up stairs. This is not going to work for me!
Man, I hate DOCS and this DISEASE Even more! Patrice, we need an update on wardrobe before 11!

-
Wish,
Patrice is wearing a leopard print dress with a black tuxedo jacket... I'm going now to go watch for her...
I am also going to see my dr., my surgeon this time, to see what he thinks of the lump on my breast. I think it is just scar tissue, but want his opinion. Hope your pcp appt goes well. You are so right... I hate drs., and this Disease, which makes every pain so scary! I still have neck pain, but it seems to be feeling better today...
-
Patrice--Can't tell on my TV if the dress is leopard print (no HD here), but I think I see you!!! How awesome to see you live!! You look great!!
-
I SAW HER! I SAW you Patrice!
-
Hi, girls. I don't have much time. I'll be back down there from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. I couldn't signal you all, but I was thinking about you and did a mental wave!

Thanks, Sherri and Harley, for the compliment!
I'll try to think of something brighter to wear tomorrow. hmmmm. Choices are limited as not much fits.
-
Patrice,
Yes, I SAW YOU, TOO! You looked GREAT! I have HD tv, but CSPAN2 isn't in HD, the picture is kinda blurry, so I couldn't tell what print was on your dress, but you looked just GREAT!!!
Harley
-
Thanks, Harley! I'm heading back down there from 11 to noon. Then:
1:30 to 2:30
4:00 to 5:00
After that I'm not sure. Today I'll probably blend into the carpet. I'm wearing cobalt blue. I have an idea for something brighter tomorrow, but didn't have time to try it on this morning.
Hope everybody has a great day today! -
I will go and watch for a few minutes, before I go to work today. I have to work from 12:00 til 6:00, but I should be off the rest of the week! Can't wait to go watch!!
See ya!
Harley
-
ok... I'm back! I just saw you, and I LOVE your outfit! I LOVE BLUE!! You look just wonderful!
Now I really gotta go, so I can eat a little snack, before I go to work!!
Harley -
Hey Patrice, I'm waving!!!! Love the blue outfit! You look gorgeous, dawlink!!!
Sherri -
Missed you all day as dh was home and helping me get the 'big chores' done. Moving bushes and pulling out timbers and oh way too much
My legs and back are sore tonight! Should have done housework, as I'd not have been as sore tonight! UGH!Will watch for your schedule and wardrobe update in the morning!

-
Thanks for the nice words, girls! I'm in the worst rush. I'll be down there from 11:00 to 12:00. Will post the rest of my schedule when I get back. I'm wearing a black and white wrap dress with a white jacket. See ya!
-
I'm back down there from 1:30 to 2:30 and then 4:00 to 5:00. That's as much as I know for today so far.
