Hello everyone,

Just popping in quick to say hi. Having a party for dd graduation on Saturday - need to get the house ready. Family coming from out of town on Friday. Feeling a little stressed. Have appointment with PCP tomorrow. No real issues just seems that for the past four years every time I see her she decides to order some test and they find something major wrong with me. Hopefully, no surprises tomorrow.

My vegetarian dd made the goat cheese and red pepper pizza the other night and it turned out really good. She even made the crust from scratch. At least she is learning to cook. When she said she wanted to go vegetarian I told her she would have to prepare her meals because I have a hard enough time preparing one meal. Her dad and I would go veggie with her but the little one would have a fit.

CY - So glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. Make a big fuss and get in to see the doctor sooner.

Liz- praying for heat rash or an allergic reaction.

Nicki - glad you are feeling better too. Most likely this up and down weather messing with your sinuses.

Odalys - Happy Anniversary.

Charlene - belated Happy Anniversary to you.

Madison - your daughter is beautiful. Naughty Big Bad Jake - guess he is not big and bad for nothing.

Vickie - Good luck on the job and hope Nate is feeling better soon. I just hate when my kids get sick.

Jankay - sorry therapy did not go well yesterday. Loved your funnies.

Marsha - if it weren't for this site - I wouldn't know a lot of things - hate being my own doctor - isn't that what they get the big bucks for.

Colleen - I agree - sell the ring on e-Bay and then go out and buy yourself something nice. You deserve it.

Mena - congrats on selling your house. Good to see you posting.

Laura - hope you hear from your daughter soon. I have three of them and know how I worry when they don't call.

Shokk - that sounds like one nasty virus.

Amy - thinking of you and your family today.

Puppy - so glad that they can do a less invasive procedure. I have heard good things about the coils. Will keep you in my prayers.

Okay, I have left out many but no time to go back and read. Need to get my real work done so that I can finish getting the house ready for the weekend.

Hey all sweet sisters (and sleeping brother too...I'll tiptoe around so not to wake you).
Just sitting around waiting for Nates dr's appt. It's a 2:15. I can't get his fever down no matter what I do...cool bath, washcloth, Tylenol, Motrin...nothing is working and I can't get it under 101. I suspect strep throat again and the dr's do too so off we go. I guess they have had a rash of calls today and there are tons of virus's floating around so be careful out there!
Hey Jeannie...oh I love the Prince Charmless...I've had my share of them too.
Colleen...what are sister for? Come and rant whenever you need to...we will listen and give you a hug. I actually have something I should send to you. It's a doll thats called "the perfect man"...he's on a keychain and says all kinds of really nice things. My daughter gave him to me and he's pretty funny. I think I have your address and you need him more than I do right now. I have given up on men. Gonna be a virgin for the rest of my life!

Shokk...ewwww...tongue virus...now that sounds scary and a wee bit strange. I'm sorry...trying not to laugh but imagining myself calling in to work to say my tongue has a virus heehee. I know it wasn't just your tongue but had to run with it LOL. I am glad you are better. Thanks for the wishes for me and Nate.
Puppy...where are you...come on out and play a bit. We love ya and miss ya. Let us know when you will be going to the hospital for your procedure so you can get a special magic carpet ride!

Hi, now that MIL is gone you'd think I'd have more time, but have been very busy this week.

Shokk, just got back from the ortho. Joe had his braces put on. Two hours and a $250 down payment later...

Went to a lyphedema specialist yesterday. My arm is only 2 inches bigger, but she wants me to wear a sleeve. Surprisingly, it does make my arm feel better, it was starting to hurt. I have a temporary one and am now battling with insurance to get a better one. They said elastic things aren't covered, but a care coordinator told me before I could get a lymphedema sleeve. The lady I talked to didn't seem to know what a care coordinator was, put me in to the nurse line (which disconnected and I had to call back), she then took the time to research who I needed to talk to even though it wasn't really her job, the benefits person should have done it. So it turns out the dr. has to fax the order to the medical supply place here in town, they have to call the insurance company and then somehow let me know. I still haven't heard back. Need to follow up.

My dh also is having trouble with his foot. Couldn't get into the pcp yesterday, so went today, before ortho. Come to find out he has an extra bone in his foot he didn't know about. They want him to see an orthopedic, the one in town doesn't take our insurance, so back on the phone I go. Now dh says to just forget it, he'll live in pain. MEN!

Then we have a picnic today for the original employees at the Cracker Barrel here in town. It opened 5 years ago and 19 people have been there since. My dh is one of them, so it should be interesting. Micah has been going to an evening VBS, so that's been a lot of dropping off and picking up. When does school start? I think I wasn't as busy then.

I have a lot of work to do to get ready for school, so may be "lurking", but will pop in. I love you all. A special hug to Amy, I feel close to you since we have met.

OK, REALLY supposed to be working, but sneaking in anyway!

shokk - hhmmm...sounds like the dreaded hand/foot/mouth virus (cocsackie?) It's a little kid thing, but adults can get it. My ex-husband's little ones gave it to my son who gave it to me - delaying my full axiallary node dissection and therefore the start of my chemo - fun times! I hope it's not that, but if it is fluids and rest are the only thing for it. And also, you made me shed a tear (in a good way), thanks for your comforting words, and for getting to the heart of the issue...

Everyone - again, thanks for supporting me with the relationship nonsense...

Madison - You're far better at taking notes/making responses than me despite being not caught up and leaving for vacation! Have a great trip. Funny about the stethoscope - how do they always seem to find the most expensive thing to destroy?

Jeannie - My friend (no bc) swears by her chiropractor for her bad back. She says she doesn't know if it's completely psychological or if he's really doing something, and she doesn't care, because he makes her back feel better!

Suzfive - I LOVE goat cheese! LOL I love all sorts of foods now that I wouldn't have touched with a 10 foot pole 15 years ago! Don't get too stressed about the cleaning, I know it's hard, but people truly don't care and half the time they don't notice if it's messy!

Vickie - you are too funny! Someone asked me why I don't "get out there again", I just looked at her - I've had enough heartache to last me a lifetime! Now, I'm not saying never, I never say never I guess, but I can't imagine I'd make anyone a very good partner for a long while! Hope Nate is feeling better.

Cheri - I can't see Mena's original post either - glad it's not just me! Love the new avatar!

OK, need to get on the phone with TechLine to figure out my connection issues. I dread it, as I have no idea what they're talking about most of the time, and unfortunately, sometimes they don't either - a bad combination!

Hey guy and gals. Have another update on our dear Puppy. She said her surgery is scheduled for next Thursday, 7/28, unless they get a cancellation and then will take her sooner. That was all the time I had because a cop was sitting there looking at me while I was on the cell phone, hehe. I should have used the hands-free! I will post more if Pup knows more.

Healing hugs and kisses to all who aren't feeling well, especially the kiddles, Nate and Shokk's daughter.

Anybody else having problems getting into page 630? I can into pages before and after it but when i click on it I get the 'page cannot be found' thing. I'm not MIA, I just posted last night. Still can't find Menas post unless it's on the page I can't get.

Did they delete a whole page??? And I'm the last to know??

To Funny about 'Bad Jake' chewing DD's Stethoscope!

I had a Dementia Patient one time........true story........I left my Stethoscope and B/P cuff at her house accidentally. She took it apart.........thought it looked like a 'snake' and flushed (or tried to) it down the toilet! Family offered to buy me a new one, but I figured they had paid enough out with the plumber they had to call in!! God, I love my job!

Just got back from Nates dr's appt. Just a virus...no strep or ear infections whew!! I guess there are lots of nasties floating around so everyone be extra vigiliant washing your hands and remember to wipe down those nasty shopping cart handles!

Good afternoon all. I was finally able to get into page 360 thats where this mornings posts were. I don't know what the deal was sometimes I get the 'page cannot be found' thingy. Amber's not working today so I'm not babysitting. She got in and fixed the boys rooms all up and has cleaned all day. Looks nice. Carried out a dozen big trashbags of clothes to put in a yard sale. Ethan is just growing too fast, he helped carry out and clean alot. He'd crawled up in my bed this morning after I woke up and we were talking and he just knows so much stuff. It doesn't seem like anytime since he was Kevins size. He's growing up too fast!

Hi everyone, sorry I didn't mean to confuse anyone, there is not a visible rash. I was talking about the petechiae on my stomach.

Saw the doc (and PA-LOL). She said the petechiae is nothing to worry about.

Since I'm going to Pinkstock, she decided to go ahead and treat me for shingles just in case it's trying to develop. Works for me. I told her I was not staying home for any reason.

So all is well. Thanks for all the help and concern. I'm off to paint the bathroom now and will be back later.

Mena - when I opened the page and saw your name I had a smile from ear to ear. I am so glad to see you. I've missed you so much. You always brighten my day. I sure miss exchanging notes with you on DWTS. No, have not seen the show you mentioned, too busy trying to juggle family and new job. I barely have time to watch TV but I will sure find the time to watch the next season of DWTe, hope you can too.

Good news on the sale of your house. You were lucky cause the real estate market is at a stand still. Anyway, I got to go now. DH is waiting for me so we can go to dinner.
