WELCOME KAROLINE!!!!! -
Good Evening Everyone: got to sneak home early today. Your not gonna believe it. Its almost 6 weeks to the date that I caught my last cold - and I think Im getting another one. Already took Zicam and praying the humidty outside just made me feel awful today.
MargaretB: Man you can tell Im old. So simple a coffee maker with a timer. Still have my old Mr. Coffee - no timer. How nice it would be to wake up to the smell of coffee.
Gina, Angel, Jasmine, and Marsha: Im laughing my rats arse off. Boy I missed some fun while I was at work today.
Jankay: Hope you PT went well. So what kinda hair cut you thinking about?

good afternoon ladies,
Yup...I'm home early...got a call that Nate is sickso I had to pick him up from daycare. Headache, stomachache, fever...the ususal run of the mill 24 hour bug I hope! He's crashed on the couch with the fans going full blast. I'ts hot and muggy here. Looks like rain but I've been fooled to many times now to thing that's possible LOL. Oh how I hate it when my kids are sick.
I went out and got 9 yards of tulle and 3 yards of a really pretty sheer pink overlay that has gold stars and swirly things all over it. I have a pink tank top that I am embellishing and making the skirt to match. I am using elastic in the skirt and actually tying it so it will fit everyone and everyone will have a chance to play in the Glenda dress! Should make for some interesting pictures.
Angel...Happy Anniversary today!!
Ha Nicki...I am actually getting to post to you before you go to bed! I can't wait to see you in your new dress. You have to post pictures!
Margaret...only seven to go..you can do it. I still haven't touched a cigarette although I will admit to being tempted a time or two. It's hard. My nerves get the best of me and that's when I want one the most.
Beth...thanks for the Puppy update...she sounded really upbeat in my conversation with her. The doctors are very encouraging and she is stronger than she gives herself credit for.
Colleen...sendin a hug...I still say sell the ring on ebay and go spurge on something you really want! Subscribe to a dating service heehee.
Boo...a whole day off...lucky you. I could use about two weeks off. Can't wait for Pinkstock!
Jankay and Cheri...great new avatars...I love them. I should really change mine someday...
CY...sending you a hug. A loss is the last thing you needed right now. So very sorry.
Laura...looking for an update here...hope that all went well.
MB...do you want me to bring the green candles? I'd be happy to. Bringing yarn and crochet hooks along with the knifty knitter and hopefully copies of the instructions.
Hey to Gina...wish you were out of treatments and could come to Pinkstock. I am going on Thursday and returning home Saturday late afternoon (or Sunday late morning) if you want to meet up with me and ride along. I'll take good care of you as will everyone else. Sending you a hug.
Shirley...I am soooo excited about seeing the quilt.
Which reminds me...I have to post the pics of the latest afghan that was mailed out...yikes...forgot again.
Love and hugs and I'll be back
Vickie -
Nicki...back in the twilight zone LOL!
-
Just a quick peek in from work -
Karoline, welcome. I'm sure they would love to have you at Pinkstock.
Back to work. I'm getting a new computer shortly so don't want to be on a message board when they come by LOL.
Margaret -
Welcome Karoline...check out the Pinkstock thread. Come back and pull up a chair by the campfire and tell us all about yourself. Or just listen to us ramble...we are quite good at that!
Hugs
Vickie -
Hello all..having computer problems..using another so may not see me for a while..hasta la vista..SoCal
-
Vickie: unbelievable. Its actually giving me goose bumps. We are way too connected and dont even realize it.
SoCal: Oh I hope your computer gets fixed. Im missing you already. -
Karoline: Very nice to meet ya. Its never too late for anything in the wagon circle.
Nicki -

Good evening all. Been pretty slow around here today.
Charlene, where in the world did you find your rats ass downloader? hahaha That is really too funny.
Shirley, no, you cannot say rats ass.
Karoline, welcome to the Circle. So glad to have you. Read up on the get together and then, like Vickie said, come back and pull up a chair and visit awhile.
Vickie. i do hope you hear soon about your new job.
jankay, I finally see your avatar but i still don't see mine.
Laura, can't read my notes on you. say something about jealous and good luck. hmm
Odalys, I was like you, when I was dx I just knew I was dying, but not anymore.
Boo, nice to see you posting. lol
Nicki, whats a rats arse? lol
Hey Sheri, Janny, Marsha, Jazz, and Amy to Z.
pals
cheri -
Happy afternoon folks. Hope everyone has had a lovely day.
Vicki, keeping all appendages crossed for the new job.
Odalys, the first week after my dx I spent hours planning my funeral. Then I got over it and said Hell No. I've gotta live long enough to truly annoy my children.
Hope you had a grand day at work Nicki.
Jaz, to funny.
Laura, prayers for your daughter.
MB, I'm kinda afraid to ask what the huge painted squirrels are for?
Marsha, tattletales always get their comeuppence.
Boo/Sue, hope you've had a fabulous day off.
jankay, how did PT go today?
Jeannie, Miss Manners is a very smart woman.
Shokk, I just love reading your posts. I think our brains work the same. Go from point A to B all the way to Z and back again.
Colleen, a very smart decision. Personally I would ignore him. He doesn't deserve a response.
Beth thanks for the update. Got your PM, thanks bunches
Margaret, of course you can do it. Isn't goat cheese and garlic the best. And o my gosh add bruchette (sp?) to it and you have the perfect meal.
Hi Iris, the albuterol is helping a little. Not much tho. I just got a letter in the mail today from the doc that I was referred to setting up my appt. He's already got a bad mark on my check off sheet. What kind of doctor sends a new patient a letter without calling them first? One with a God Complex perhaps? AND the stupid appt isn't until sept. How ridiculous is that. So I have to decide if I'm gonna whine about it or just suck it up and wait it out.
Nicki, I'm doing the anticold dance for you.
Vicki, can't wait to see your Glenda dress. I'll say a prayer for Nate.
Jankay, gentle hugs. I'm sorry PT was bad.
Cheri, why can't I say Rats Ass? Should I say Rodents Hindquarters instead?
Off to accomplish something before manperson gets home. See you later. -
Hi everyone, wooohoooo! Found the flooring I wanted. Now I need to get the painting done, put the floor down and etc. etc. LOL Don't care if it's done before Pinkstock or not.
Need advice from my dearest friends. I have petechiae all over my stomach and a few spots on the tops of my legs. The left side/left waist area of my stomach feels tender like the nerves are on the top. I'm thinking all kinds of wild things of course. Has anyone had anything like this?
I hate this kind of crap.
I'm going to go back and read and I'll catch up. I'm not working on the bathroom tonight.
Hugs
Liz -
Holy smokes Liz. I had to look that up. I have those little red spots all over my tummy too. I never thought twice about them. Just figured they were another SE of the radiation. Don't have any tenderness tho.
Why are you doing all the work in the bathroom by yourself? -
So I did have a nice day off! Thanks for asking! Cleaned the inside of my car(boy did it need it) and other stuff around the house. Went grocery shopping and bought salmon which I grilled with Emeral's fish rub. Wow was that good!
Karoline - Welcome. Pull up a log and enjoy the campfire.
Cheri - Nice to see you too. I like your new avatar.
Have to go watch The Godfather 3 with DH. Hope you all have a wonderful evening.
Hugs,
Sue -
Liz - Sorry no answer for you. Is the petechia something sudden and new? Are you on any new meds? Wish I could help.
Hugs to you,
Sue -
Thanks girls, Sher - I'm not. DH is helping when he's awake. He went back to work this week. Plus he's driving me wacko! How long have you had the petechia?
Sue - thanks hon. No new meds. My mind started working overtime as usual.
Hugs -
what an odd word that is. I started getting the spots after rads. So for about 3 years now. Started on my boobs then spread to my tummy. Doc has seen my belly a gazillion times and has never mentioned it so makes me think it's nothing to worry about. Tho when I looked it up wikipedia said when it happens in an adult it needs to be checked out immediately. Who knew? I say if you are having some kind of pain you should call your doc.
-
Liz, medline says it can be caused by radiation.
-
I'll call tomorrow but she's usually off on Wednesdays. I'll be fine. Just kinda freaked me out earlier. LOL Old age is my diagnosis.
-
I didn't do rads. My first thought was Thrombocytopenia from when I worked in oncology. But I think it's nothing. DH said I might need to stay home from NY. LOL I just laughed at him. NOTHING is going to stop me from going. Pain feels like appendics on the left side. Right by my ooph scar. I'm thinking pulled muscle. Heck, I'm going to quit thinking.

Thanks hon, I actually was thinking shingles myself. Just trying to think it's something else. I'm going to call my doc tomorrow.
-
I looked at more pictures. I don't have a rash, just random red spots.
Tell hubby I said only in his wildest dreams
