Good morning all...good night Peter, did the storm pass you by or is it still storming there? Get yourself a peaceful night sleep, we'll watch over you. Hmm...maybe you need to give a yell to Nicki as I don't see her yet.
Good morning Jankay...thanks for tweaking my toes. Need that this morning...
CY...sending you gentle hugs. Sounds like your computer needs a new fan which is pretty inexpensive and easy to install. I have put them in a few times...although you're may have a differnt problem...just a suggestion. Can't wait to see you at Pinkstock!!
Had a little good news on the new job front yesterday but it's still a wait and see game so I'll let ya know when I know (which I hope is soon).
Off to shower...getting late already! Geez...used to pop up at 5:30, read and post to you all...now I get up at 6 or later and have no time...this has to stop! Gotta talk to my sisters and brother in the morning to start my day out right.
Love and hugs all around
Vickie -
Good morning! Time to wake up sleepy heads.
Just a quick drop by before I head out to work. Goodness heaven must be in need of angels. So many passigns. This is such a reminder of what this disease can do. It may sound a bit naive (or maybe denial speaking) but I only entertained the thought of death when I was first diagnosed. All along I refuse to even think of death as a possibility. It isn't until I hear about others loosing their battle that I am reminded of how fragile I (we) all are. May God shine his healing light on us today.
Vickie - hope you get the job. Good luck and keep us posted.
Peter - are you tucked in for the night? I hope you are staying dry. So strange to hear this is your winter when we are battling with the heat index. How cold does it get in your area? How long are your winters?
Nickie - I know how it feels to wait for the coffee to brew in the morning. Would you believe I bought a coffee maker with a timer built in so now I prepare it at night, set the timer and the coffee waks me up in the morning. I know, I know, I am addicted to the stuff.
Okay, I better get going, don't want to be late. Love and (((((hugs))))) for everyone. Have a good day. -
Woke up late and waiting for my coffee.
I am so lost, I guess I will just have to move backwards and try to reads everyones posts..
Denise: Beans, beans beans. Your surrounded by beans. I hate when I lose a post. Usually it happens to me if I take took long of a time writing to everyone. So either save it to wordpad like others do, or save and then edit your post and you go along like I do. Now I dont lose any posts.
Suz: the song is hilarious. When I heard him playing it I made him stop and wrote down the words. After my pig roast experience, I say good for your daughter trying to go vegetarian. That pizza did sound good.
MargaretB: Boy you said it about the lasting effects from chemo. Im 2 years out also. After my last chemo, I thought I would feel like a million dollars. Didnt happen, but Im getting there now. Just took longer than I expected. I had no intentions of buying anything when I got the black dress. I like the nylons that dress barn has so I went in the store to get a couple of pairs. I saw all these pretty dresses on sale and couldnt resist trying them on. Some of them looked silly, but this dress was made for me. Hope you have fun at the wedding on September 8th. That day has special meanings for me. And hope your in a smaller size. After the pizza I gobbled down last night, Im gonna have to walk twice the distance today.
Vickie: Thanks for the update on Puppy. Both procedures sound a little scary to me - we will really need to crank up the magic carpet for Angel on Friday and Puppy, whenever they schedule the surgery.
Puppy: Just remember you are loved here and we will all stand strong for you.
Jan: Remember me? Im the one who doesnt own a camera! I have Tmobile and they give you a new phone every year, so Im gonna see if I can trade this phone in for one that takes pictures. Im a bigger party pooper than you. I hit the bed around 7:oo pm.
Madison: Your daughter is so pretty. I forgot she wanted to be a vetinarian. But I do remember bad Jake! Youve done good by her. Your a good mom.
Liz: Will you finish that bathroom already. First of all Im tired of just hearing what your doing, and second of all I miss hearing from you. Bet that bathroom is gonna look great when your done.
Well - as usual - Im running out of time, so I have to be quick.
Petter: Hope you survived the big storm. Miss you when your not here.
Joy: So sorry to hear about your SIL. 49 is so young. Sending hugs to you and your family.
Susan: Good to see you.
Tricia: Im waving at you.
Shokk: I gotta tell you, Prairie Home Companion has become one of my favorite movies. I keep watching it and watching it.
CY: Glad to hear from you. So sorry to hear about your friend too. Can only send lots of love.
Karen: Yikes - the surgery sounds hard.
Cheri: Rats ass? Hahahahahahha
Jankay: I love the new avatar.
Charlene: We will round up the magic carpet for you and will all be with you on Friday.
OK - gotta go hit the showers. See ya all later.
Nicki -
Good morning Happy Campers. Another bright sunshine day on this side of the Circle. Hope everyone has a fantabulous day!
Quote:
A Policeman stops a speeding car and tells the woman driver; When I saw you driving down the road, I thought to myself, sixty-five at least.
The woman replied: I dont think that is quite fair. I think this hat makes me look older. -
Amy---
I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. It's so hard to lose anyone we love but parents are especially tough. I'm carrying you in my prayers.
Jeannie -
Good morning, all.
Angel-happy anniversary. Have a great day.
Nicki-thanks for the Dress Barn info. DS#2 is having a garden wedding next month. I've been looking for a new dress. I'll have to try the Dress Barn. We have one less than a mile from our house.
Cheri & Jankay-love your new avatars. DD#3 is moving back home, I hope, and has said she'll teach me how to get photos on the screen. I'm a slow learner when it comes to computer stuff. Keep her in your prayers. She's breaking up with her boyfriend, but it is not going well. She keeps relenting. Afraid of hurting him. I'm concerned because he's showing a jealous streak, that could be a bad sign. Hopefully I'm worried about nothing.
Have to go now. Having a new baseline mammo this morning. The girls are very different after my reduction and lift surgery last fall. I have A rad onc appt after the mammo. Should be just routine.
Hugs, healing, and prayers for all.
Laura -
Karen - Thank you for your thoughts for Friday and I'll keep that in mind. I'll be thinking of you Monday as well. I'm sorry to hear you have to go for repair. I'm sure you more than just want this over with. Get good pain meds!
Margaret - ahhhh, got it. I guess I'd hold off on the coffee then too!
Cheri - LOL I thought the same thing. Only My SO remembers so many dates when it comes to our relationship. Everything else in life he is so forgetful! I blame my hormonal med for messing with my cognitive function! Thank you for being with me Friday.
Nicki - It warms my heart knowing you'll all be with me on Friday.
Jaz - Good morning, very funny!
Laura - Thank you, you have a great day as well! Best of luck at your appts. today.
Goodnight Peter, Good Morning Vickie, Jankay, Odalys, Jeannie and everyone else up before and after me today! I Really need to get moving. I'm Never going to get done what I need to today and my sister arrives tomorrow! Oh well, there's other things more important in life, like coming here! I'll be back later.
Love and Hugs

Amy - So sorry to hear about your dad. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Holly - Sorry you are having such a hard post chemo time. I did not have CMF but had A/C + T. It took 7 months post chemo for my liver enzymes to come back to normal. Scared the H#ll out of me. Keeping you in the center and in my prayers.

Angel - Will be with you on Friday.

Well looks like I missed all the contraversey yesterday. Given my rescent low BS tolerance lately I guess that is a good thing! LOL
Have a day off of work so will try to check in on and off. Love to all,
Sue -
Sue missed you yesterday.......all the drama that went on yesterday was just alittle entertaining......I sorta of drug Gina into the middle of it but I just knew who was behind it and got sick of the bs and the hypocrisy (I think I spelled the correctly).......brb..........
-
Well, I have it from a reliable source that our little friend is gone for good so the Circle can get back to what it was meant to be....a place of comfort, friendship, and support.
-
yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
-
MB---sent you a PM.
Vickie---heard anything about the new job?
CY---try to cut yourself a little slack. No one expects you to keep up the same schedule and obligations except you.
Colleen---the Miss Manners handbook states that if the (jerky) guy breaks the engagement, you get to keep the ring. Burn the clothes! also change your e-mail address and don't give it to him! glad to hear Warren is doing well.
Angel----woohoo on the new part! Research should be interesting.
Marsha--- No bragging on the nip here---it's the original model and has scars all over the place since he lifted it twice. Was still droopy after the first time so he did it again---double scar tissue. Still can't get used to the Girls being so close to my face! Guess you weren't here yet when we all got into a nutsoid conversation about the names we have given our boobs----The Lone Ranger and Frankenboob here. One free TRAM=Frankenboob.
Gina---for your typing pleasure may we suggest rat's tushie?
Peter---g'night mayte. (That is how you spell it, right?)
I know I omit many but that doesn't mean I'm not following along on your lives via your posts. Gotta book out for the PCP (liver panel screwed up---if it's not one damn dumb thing it's another) and then on to Sam's. He just gets cuter and cuter---not that I'm prejudiced or anything. He's become what my Mother called a Smiling Charlie. Thinks everything is funny and just tickled pink with absolutely everything (except a poopy diaper). Want pics?
Everyone have a good day. Probably won't be back until the weekend---hope to see you Friday MB.
Jeannie -
Alwayshope I always feel like you have our backs no matter what happens......I told Gina yesterday the side cracks about prayer groups was directed to you and Gina was so right about Karma........better be careful about whom you are poking fun at.......anyway your right the circle is such a place of comfort......I think everyone responding to Holly yesterday made her feel alot better......such a great group of women and now our beloved Peter......well chicas I sure miss Vickie posting during the day......I finally got used to Nicki not being able to post except in the morning and in the evening but geez.....where in the heck is Robin that girl has a nack at being able to disappear better than any girl here......someone asked about Deb she went camping again for a few days she will be back soon..........for all the girls that just read but don't post much (Sige and Tina) we know ya'll are out here and we love ya'll too........don't forget.........ok chicas will check back in a bit.......love to all.........
-

love to all -
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...better make that a really long drawstring for some of us!
-
Good Morning Dears. Time for bed Peter. I have nothing planned for the day except to bind the quilt.
Amy, great big hugs for you and Tucker. Your family is in my prayers.
Susan, we are missing you. How's the job search coming?
Robins, been awol for a while. Has anyone spoken with her?
MB, I'm here all the time and I always seem to miss the drama.
Holly, hugs for you too. I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time.
Gina, your welcome
Denise, I'm sure I was blonde in another life. I've got the search for your car look down pat too. And I drive a Mini. Not the easiest car to lose.
Jan, woohoo on the 5 pounds. I wanna go RVing with you.
Margaret, a laptop would be lovely. There is nothing that is easy at 5am except tipping the coffee cup.
Marsha, thanks for sharing the video.
Nicki, too funny.
So were not supposed to say rats ass? OOPS
Suz, 3 cars? yikes I would forever be lost in parking lots. Hope daughter put some roasted garlic on that pizza. There isn't much better than roasted garlic and goat cheese.
Vicki, thanks for the update on Puppy. Looked it up. Scary, facinating, and amazing all at the same time. Your neice was only 9 and had a stroke? WOW!
Puppy your gonna stay at the top of my prayer list.
Holy smokes Madison. I have never in my life looked that good at 5am. Her apartment looks pretty darn good too.
Liz, its almost done right?
Awww Vicki, go watch the video. Sometimes crying is a good thing. The stories behind a lot of the hymns are amazing.
Joyce, I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your friends SIL.
Cy, I am very sorry to hear of your loss as well.
happy belated anniversary Charlene. Hope you made up for forgetting.
karen, donate the bras to a womens shelter. Got you on my prayer list for surgery.
Jankay, deb is camping, robin is awol.
Jeannie, of course we want pics.
I have missed many. You all are in my thoughts but my brain is to darn foggy today. Day 2 of decaf. No headache just not quite with it. I'll check in later. -
Hey everyone
Thanks to all of you for your support about the Tim/ring situation. I'm definitely not giving it back to him, and still deciding if I should just e-mail him back and tell him, say something sarcastic, just ignore it, etc. Just trying to figure out what will make ME feel good about it.
I'm a little behind at work due to too much feeling sorry for myself this week, so read but didn't take notes. Love to you all... -
Colleen...JMHO...a gift is a gift, whether it be a ring , car, or chocolates....you don't have to give them back but you may return them for something in a different size...
hugs MB -
Hi all! Update from Puppy...she got a call from the cardiologist and he gave her the green light. So now she is waiting for a date from the hospital. Will keep you posted.........
Pm me for her snail mail if you want to send a card. She can use the cheering up. Although after the doc's call today she sounded more chipper than yesterday. -
Hi all, dropping in from work today - we're having a huge two-day meeting so everyone is gone and here I sit so thought I'd take some time. Another day of boot camp done - it's like tracking my chemo treatments - I have 7 more boot camp days to go this month. Think I can do it?
Odalys, it took you long enough to figure out about the coffee maker - I've been doing it for years. I had a cuisinart one that actually ground the beans first and I could use it as an alarm clock because it sounded like a helicopter taking off. It finally broke and I ended up with a plain ole Mr. Coffee with a timer. Timer is very important!
Cheri, the funny thing is we used to get along great with his ex and over the years she has lied so much and done so many things that we decided it wasn't worth it to stay friends for the kids. And the kids eventually saw her for what she was. She has actually been jealous for the last 25 years for whatever reason. Anyway, we get along with the entire family except her.
Nicki, hate to say it because a lot of us sisters don't like the saying, but everything happens for a reason - and you wound up in Dress Barn and lo and behold found the PERFECT dress. Look what it has done for your spirit.
Charlene, do what I do - I save it up for my sister and she does everything for me!
Shokk, the funny thing is my dad was a big tall Texan and my mother a tiny Japanese woman. My dad is buried in Arkansas and need to get back there one day to "say goodbye" for good (long story, maybe I'll tell it one day).
Oh, Colleen, I didn't even think that you can set your email so that his emails to you go right into junk mail where they belong so you don't even see them. And I wouldn't even respond to his email - that just leaves it open for more dialog.
Jeannie - rat's tushie!!!! Of course we want pics.
Shirley, roasted garlic and goat cheese....yum.
Ok, work beckons. More later.
Margaret -
