Amy, so sorry for the loss of your dad. Please let us know how we can help. Saying extra prayers for you and your family.
Margaret -
Jankay - love your new avatar. your post earlier was right on.
Marsha - wished I lived closer to Florida, would love to come see your performance. Mightly nice lookin cowboy LOL.
Cheri - that corn and tomatoes sound so good.
Denise - I am with you with losing my car in parking lots. We have three vehicles that I drive and I usually not only forget where I parked but which car I drove. Luckily, I can tell by looking at the keys - but who would think to do that?? I have an itty bitty garden and there is a bowl of beans sitting in the fridge waiting for me. I'm with Jankay - stick them someplace else.
Iris - where are you with your little tiny screen?
Nicki - I hear you got a sexy little black dress - oo la la! That song your husband is learning is too funny.
Holly - as the others have said - take it easy. You seem to be doing everything right. It takes time for our bodies to recover from chemo. Sorry it is delaying everything else but eventually it will all work out.
SoCal - you are such a gifted photographer - love looking at your pics. I had no problem seeing them either.
Charlene - I did not have reconstruction but am thinking about it - it would be really delayed LOL. Will be thinking about you on Friday and wishing you all the best.
Tricia - welcome back. Glad you had a good time in Vegas.
Shirley - can't wait to see the quilt.
Gina - thank you for starting this circle. It truly is a wonderful place to come. I lurked for awhile before posting but always thought the circle girls were a great group of women. Can't understand why anyone would feel otherwise.
Z - hello, your posts are always so well written - I really enjoy reading them. I hope your coworker is not giving you too much trouble.
Shokk - loved your description of Texas women. Now please tell your secret - how do you get your daughters to clean the house?
Margaret - I am not doing a boot camp but have been working with a personal trainer. It is really hard and I am so sore for days afterwards - but it is amazing what you can do that you never thought you could.
Okay, gotta go and see what is for dinner. I think youngest dd is making pizza. She has decided she is going to be vegetarian. They have all gone through this stage so she is making vegetarian pizza with goat cheese and red peppers. Sounds pretty good actually. Just as long as she doesn't trash the kitchen that I cleaned yesterday.
Hello to everyone I missed from A to Z.
Hugs,
Suz -
Holly, it will take a while for your body to recover from the chemo assault - you've been to war. You will recover from it. It sounds like your docs want to stay on top of things and get you back into conditions. Kudos to you for losing 15 lbs. so far, it's a hard process. I think someone else already said we're moving you to the middle of the circle so we can surround you with love and support. It's been two years since I finished my chemo and I still am not back to what I was, but I'm trying.
Margaret -
Geesh, Me thinks my computer time is really chopped up today!
You know, the 'invalid' has popped up twice when I complimented Nicki and Sheri! Guess, it doesn't always pay to be nice! In any case........they are first this time!
Nicki and Sheri: I am so glad to see the way both of you have 'perked' up! You now seem happy with yourselves and way more confident!! Can't wait to see Nicki in her Sexy Black dress! Keep it up Girls....puts a smile on my face!
Peter: I wrote you earlier and it went poof with the rest of my compliments! Hope the Anti's are making you feel better.......and thanks for being a big brother and sticking up for all your sisters!
Debs: Still Camping I think.
Margaret: Another one with such a positive attitude! Love the inspiration you pass along and I give you huge cudo's for sticking to the 'boot camp.' I have no motivation when it comes to exercise and I'm guilty of being an "I can't" person, too. Go easy on me at Pinkstock, please....between you and MB..I'm doomed!
Lisa: If I haven't already said it in one of the past posts....loved your before and after pics of tennis today! The pics you posted of your event this weekend with really nice. Looks like it was a good time. Another lady that I admire for your attitude and your daily activities!
Z: I think I already said that I loved the poem you shared with us today. Do you collect poetry? I know you write it, and it is very good! I love Maya Angelou
Boo: You survived the night with the teenage boys in the house! I sure remember those days!
Laura: I commented on your GS's earlier...but don't know if it was posted or lost with the rest! I can so imagine the 'big brother' saying "put the baby to bed!" Glad they are doing well!
Theresa: Sounds like you had a good time in Vegas and Reno, and the show sounds great. You're headed back to work full time....already.....glad you're feeling good.
Vickie and Madison: Haven't heard much from Vickie today and nothing from Madison. Hope I didn't scare you away with my news that I was coming to Pinkstock!! Promise that I will be good!
Vickie: Hope all is okay with you....mighty quiet today. I read something about you going to the Doc's. Hopefully for your Throid. Let me know what they say....I've had every symptom for years and the TSH and T4 come back "low Normal" so it hasn't been treated. I guess they want to wait until it's not easily fixable and then treat it!
Madison: Sounds like your DD is settling in fine! Did you say she starts her internship today? Haven't heard from you at all today........back to work? Hope all is okay!
Okay, everything I have written is starting to sound like DeJaVu to me............I've been on and off here so many times today, I don't know who I've said what to. So, my sweet friends, I'm signing off for the night.
Hugs to all,
Denise
So many missing.......Puppy, Pam, Theresa (I think), Kristen, Robin???? and the list goes on. I'm getting worried about Anne....armynavymom.....I even sent her a pm and haven't heard from her. She hasn't been on the Michigan thread either. Anne, do I have to gather some Michiganders and come see if you are okay? -
MESSAGE FROM PUPPY.....
The doctors has decided because of my age( young HA!!!}
they are going to do a procedure called Coiling this is wonderful because they do not have to remove the skull. I really don't understand it but what the heck
i gotta have them done but from what the surgeon said they will give me a mri every 6 months to make sure it is working and if be they always have the option of doing the Invasive! So I think this is good(crazy huh) will know when after my cardiologist gives them a release
form, Why?? don't know but spent 6 hours at the hospital today getting the
admission done , so i guess when they call all i do is show up! will let you
know as soon as they tell me
only have to stay overnight thank God the
Insurance pays for the surgery!!! sweetie, could you let the girls know i am so tiered and my head is killing me, which they said will probaly never go
away, but will give me some sort of patch that keeps pain meds. in my body all the time to help out!

Rats ass.
-
Good evening sisters and brother!
Vickie, thanks for posting the message from Puppy. She seems very positive about the procedure! I wish I knew what "coiling" was .
Nicki, you better post pics of you in that sexy black dress, girl. You are right, of course! We handled ourselves very well in that clique thread.
JanKay, I'm glad you got your avatar up. It looks great!
Cheri, where is your avatar from? It is really pretty.
Denise, definately put the beans somewhere else, like on DH's pillow and maybe he'll take care of them before he goes to bed. -
Rat's ass! Bwwaaaahhhhaaahhhhaaaa!!!! Oooooooooo Cheri!
-
Double Bwwaaaahhhhaaahhhhaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,
Just read a few pages
Amy, I am so sorry..you know we are all gathered around you and your family....
Holly, you are always in my thoughts and I am sorry you are having these problems. Please let us know how we can help you.
Vickie, thank you for the info from Puppy
Denise, I was thinking about ArmyNavyMom on my way home from work....we need to get the posse looking for her.
DD started an internship in small animal internal medicine (4 year program after vet school). She, big-bad Jake and her two cats are settled in. We shopped and completely furnished her place. She now has a warm place to come home after work, food in the refrig, pantry and freezer, etc. This is her at 5:00 a.m. Sunday (before we left for the airport).
Ladies and Gent....I am buried under files at work and couldn't spend any time on the boards today .hope to be back late tonight
Hugs to all -
Good night all!
I'm going downstairs to watch TV and hang with DH for a little while before we put our pitiful butts to bed around 9:30. Every party needs a pooper that's why we invited me, Party Pooper, Party Pooper .
G'day Peter!
G'night CGs -
Goodnight everyone. I'm too tired to read back. Vickie thanks for the update on Puppy. I have a friend who had that done and he's doing great.
Don't know what's up with the rats ass but I'll have to read it tomorrow.
I'll be gone tomorrow - have to go pick up our flooring in another town. Wish I would have known that when I met Madison, I could have gotten it then.
I'm sick to death of this stupid bathroom. It is getting in the way of my computer time as well as shopping for Pinkstock. LOL
Hugs & Prayers my friends,
Liz -
Rat's ass is my favorite saying too...always has been for some weird reason...are we being bad girls here?
Quick post tonight as I am going to bed with some tylenol pm and xanex to see if I can sleep sound enough not to be tired.
Peter...come on big brother...time to wake up. Never know when this crew might need some protecting. Looks like some of the girls are cruisin for a bruisin as my grandma used to say LOL.
Amy...once again...I am so very sorry. Too many of us know how you feel right now. That shell shocked, kicked in the stomach, empty ache. It will ease in time and in the meantime you have all our hugs and love to carry you through. Anything you need...all you have to do is ask.
Cheri pal...I love your new avatar! That's really pretty. Have a dr's appt on Thursday finally! Hopefully they will do the blood work then and we can get this figured out.
Marsha...Amazing Grace is a wonderful song but not a video I can watch without crying so I'm skippin it LOL. Hugs to ya.
Colleen...sending you a hug. Men are such...oh...rat's asses. We seem to have a lot in common as you know. Hang in there and I'm here if you need me. Tucking you in from one super single mommy to another!
Odalys...just love your posts...sweet dreams.
Tricia...glad to see you back...no more disappearing now!
Robin...well we can see how much you love us...big pout! Time for a posse.
Denise...just sending a hug.
Jan...Puppy does sound positive and I think this may be the same procedure my neice had (she is 9 and had a stroke and an anyuresm (sp?). she was on blood thinners for about six months after the procedure where they went in through a vein in her leg (I think) up to her brain to repair the tear (they had her "paralyzed" during the procedure or some such thing). She is fine now. Still has headaches oftem but thats all. I don't know if its the same thing or not but sounds like it and my foggy brain won't let me remember all the details.
Hi Suz...I miss Iris and her tiny screen too!
ok...I just can't do it tonight...too wiped out so I'm heading to bed early...think I'll grab some multivitamins on the way while I'm at it.
Love ya all and see ya in the morning!
Vickie -
Hey to Liz...thanks for being such a wonderful doll. Your so sweet. I have to still shop for Pinkstock and I haven't even ordered my tshirt yet. yikes. My basket will be interesting to say the least...if anyone has been to Ithaca they will understand LOL.
nite all
Vickie -
Madison...your daughter is beautiful! She gets her looks from her mommy! Hugs

Amy-So sorry to hear about your dad. My prayers are with you and your family.
I was in a great mood today. I got my report from the mammogram that I had on Tuesday. Normal! Yeah! Then I was kicked in the butt. My friend SIL who had breast cancer for thirteen years lost her battle yesterday. She was so supportive when I was dx. My heart is just breaking for her family. She was only 49 and had so much to live for. Please keep her family in your prayers tonight.
Joyce -
rats ass??
thanks for the update Vicki. Puppy sounded good.
Joyce, hugs for you. I just hate it when I hear about another sister who looses the battle.
Cheri, I think I like your new avatar better. Everytime I saw the picture of the little boy face (i know it's Ethan) it would startle me and I would think --who the heck is that!!!
have a good sleep tonite all.
susan -
Amy, I am so sorry to hear your Dad passed away. You and your family are in my thoughts.
Holly, I hope your body gets all straightened out soon. I would be scared, too. *hugs*
We have to get up early to take my car to the shop before we go to my ps appointment, so I am turning in early. time zone changes, and insomnia are no fun. I rode my exercise bike for 20 minutes this evening (let the penance begin for over indulging on vacation).
Marsha, I wish I could come see your play - you will be fabulous!
Puppy, I am glad to hear you are getting a non-invasive procedure. I will be thinking of you.
Sorry I can't stay and post more.
XXXOOO
Tricia -
Quick pop in tonight........Nicki I love the Prairie Home Companion......listen to it every weekend........Marsha thanks for the pic of the pretty cowboy but down here in Texas we think of John Wayne in True Grit riding that horse with the reins in his month while he is shooting his rifles........now that's a cowboy.........love to all and to all a good night....see ya'll in the morning.....hey Vickie see ya later alligator.........
-
Sorry I've been away so long. The pain in my side and my feet has made it tough for me to sit up after a long day at work. And I've had the grandkids this weekend and sister came back into town and trying to get all the shopping done for my DD's 25th birthday party at the Dunes!
I've been really down and tired but wanted to pop in and let you all know I'm ok. they gave me a break from the chemo last week cause of the side effects. we'll see what they do this week.
My friend Emily that I've told you about before, left us last night. Her husband posted on our care pages from the cancer center about an hour after she left us. I wish I could go and hold those to younguns of hers and remind them that their Mom was a very special lady and she will always be watching over them.
I haven't been able to read back my computer get's too hot and I can't stay on long. Maybe I can get it fixed after Pinkstock.
Can't wait to meet as many of you as I can in a couple weeks!
got to run the computer is getting really hot!
Love, hugs and prayers -
Amy, so sorry for your loss. Will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Hugs, healing, and prayers for all.
Laura -
My foggy brain completely forgot it was SO's and my anniversary. Actually I didn't even realize what the date was today until he reminded me. OOPs! He's waiting for me so this will be short.
Margaret - No coffee and you get up that early?? Oh no, that just won't do! I don't think I could handle that! You really are something else!
Nicki - TIA regarding my reconstruction and helping me get through it. You betchya I'll keep in touch! I'm so happy to know you've gone through it and know you'll be so helpful.
Jankay - It's so nice to see your sweet lovely face!
Denise - Thank you! Still dragging but head hurts much less. And thank you for your good wishes for Friday and the whole 'fam damily' thing. Things are about to get crazier!
Suz - I appreciate your thinking of me on Friday and your best wishes! Boy, that pizza your dd was making sounds delicious!
Cheri - Lmao ... one of my mom's favorite sayings is "I don't give a rat's ass" and "so put that in your pipe and smoke it!" I do like the "rat's ass" one myself.
Madison - You have a gorgeous daughter. Look how bright and beautiful she is at 5 AM! Oh to be young again...
Vickie - Thank you for the message from Puppy. Amazing what they can do these days.
Cy - It's Really good to see you posting but my you are busy and with being in pain and so tired. I hope you're not overdoing it. I'm very sorry to hear about your friend Emily. Very sad for her young ones too. Hugs for you.
Peter - hope you didn't find too much wetness
And with that I must go give my sweetheart some lovin'. Have a good night everyone!
Love ya
Charlene -
Good evening CG's
Tricia - welcome home from your vacation. Good luck with your fill tomorrow. Be sure to take care of yourself with working full time again.
Angel - will be thinking of you on friday when you have your expanders put in. I had mine done at the same time as my bilat. I had 3 fills total then was done - my exchange was about a year after mastectomy - needed to wait 6 months post rads. PM if you want.
Vickie - glad you finally got a doctors appt. Hope you get the answers you are looking for.
Shirley - can't wait till you post pics of the quilt. Now what am I going to do with all my bras that I never sent you?!
Bayyore - give youself some time to heal. HUGS to you.
Jan - way to go on the 5#
Puppy - you are in my prayers. I wish you an easy time with the neurosurgery procedure and a speedy recover. Please let me know if I can do anything long distance. HUGS.
Madison - your DD is absolutely gorgeous. My Miriam asked who she was and said sh is really pretty.
JOyce- yeah to normal mammo. I'm sorry for the loss of your SIL
Cy - hope the side effects from chemo get easier. glad you are getting a break. So sorry to hear about your friend.
I saw the nurse at the PS this morning for my pre-op visit for the repair to my implant on the radiated side. The surgery is next monday and I am a little nervous about it. Susan (the nurse) said that I will have pain after the surgery due to the sutures. The sutures are being put in the cartledge in the rib cage (I think thats where). I don't remember hurting after the exchange - more remember being tired. This surgery is 4 motnhs to the day since exchange surgery. I am not allowed to lift anything or drive for one week. For the first month, no lifting things over my head. After the first week, I can lift 5-8#. She kept saying how careful I needed to be not to pull out the internal stitches. Surgery is at 7:30am, so I will be home by noon if all goes well. I almost backed out of the surgery, but I'm tired of having to be careful what I wear since I am so uneven and can't even wear a bra to help out (not taht I want to wear a bra - just want to be able to wear tops that are not one size too big.
Peter, Xheri, Z, JAnkay, Nicki, Odalys, Shel, MArsha, MArgaret, Betty, Eachday, Colleen, Denise, Liz, Tina, Shokk, Gina, Sue, Tgirl and all the wonderful sisters her - sending you HUGS from Denver for feel good days. I love you all. Karen -
Checking in on everybody.
Madison, your daughter is a beauty.
Vickie, thanks for the update on Puppy. She sounds very positive.
Joyce, congrats on the good news on the mammogram. So sorry about your friend's SIL.
Holly, I forgot my sister was on CMF too and it took her quite a while to adjust. I had AC and you can tell what kind of week I've had because if it's been a busy week, by Friday night, I usually fall asleep on the couch for an hour or so.
Colleen, I'm going to have to go back and watch the video again - just saw it last night but some I recognized and some I didn't.
Lisa, I see your pictures.
Marsha, too bad we don't live closer so I could come see you in a play. Hubby works with someone who is an actor and we go see see his plays.
Suz, the advantage of boot camp is that it is almost like working with a personal trainer but not as expensive. We have three instructors and they tell each of us what we are doing wrong or right.
Denise, what's keeping me going in boot camp is the wedding coming up. No way is my hubby's ex going to look better than me if I can help it.
CY, thnks for popping in and letting us know how you are doing. So sorry about your friend Emily.
Charlene, can't have coffee before I go exercise at the park- it's not like at the gym - don't want any ahem intestinal distress while I'm at the park!
I'm going to have a Skinny Cow ice cream treat, take a hot bath, and then off to bed. Night everyone from Amy to Z.
Margaret -
Just did a real quick scan over the last 10 pages and wanted to give a shout out to Gina, I'm with yo every step of the way as it looks like you are now doing the same chemo as me. I got a break from it last week because of the nueropthy but think they will start back up this week. If you can take the glutamine they say it will help with the pain in the feet and hands.
Amy, you and your family are in my prayers. I'm so sorry for your loss.
now I really must get off before my computer stops working.
love to all and I'll try to check back in by this time next week. I'll be pretty swamped and going out of town on Thursday. -
CherylCY, so glad you posted. I'm awfully sorry that you're having a hard time of it and my condolenceson Emily.
Susan, wow, two posts in one day. Have you taught us to crochet yet? You know you have to learn it then teach me. I'm still doing the triangle thing.
Charlene, happy anniversary. You know the guy is the one that's supposed to forget. lol We'll be with you on friday.
Joyce,so sorry about your friend.
Karen, we'll fire up the Magic Carpet and all be with you for your repair surgery next monday. You're going to be fine.
Margaret, i see now why the boot camp. You'll be lookin fine..no..you'll be HOT compared to dh's ex. Sometimes it just takes the right incentive. lol
Vickie, so glad you got a dr appt. to see why you're so tired.
Hey to Shokk and Laura. And a good night to everyone from Amy to Z.
