Oh, Amy am stretching my arm all the way there so I can hold it...
Jankay..almost birthday girl...
Circle girls.. after chemo, I seem to have a limited amount of emotional energy..I just can't spend it on bickering...
Nicki..we are having left over Italian sausages tonight too with peppers and onions..I always make twice as much as I need just for the leftovers..I have a butcher here that makes them and I get them an hour or so after he puts them out..yummy
Gina..sorry that the chemo is causing so many problems..(((((hugs))))))
Peter..I was watching a documentary on Australia last night and they talked about an earthquake center that was western Aus.
Interesting. Then they went to a beach that had the most gorgeous water colors I had ever seen...
Liz and Madison,..how was the lunch??
Hugs from A to Z...

Duh.. posted this on party thread accidentally
I am about two days behind but wanted to pop in and say hello before I go back and catch up. Us Circle Girls always seem to have a knack for always having something going on! I am tired but ok. My Girl Child's wedding is tomorrow. It is supposed to be an outdoor ceremony, but we have rain predicted (I asked for it a couple of weeks ago so I guess I have to be grateful). She has a carriage coming (like Cinderella's) to deliver her to the downtown square where the wedding is to take place. It will be a beautiful, tearful bittersweet day. So many of those over the last couple of years! Anyway, I got to leave work an hour early so I could come and stay with Sara, Vicki's autistic child. The babysitter couldn't handle it at the last minute. Aunt Pam to the rescue!! Gotta catch up... and I pray there is so much good news to catch up on!! Later.... Pam
Post Extras: -
Just home from my wonderful visit with Madison and her DD. They are both soooooo nice. Had a blast and I'll see how the pics came out and post them. We sat in the restaurant for 4 hours. LOL
Off to see how the pics came out. Be back in a bit. -
Good Evening all!
Amy: Dear, Dear Amy, I am so sorry to hear of your Daddy's health. Please know that I will keep your whole family in my thoughts and prayers, and a special one that your Daddy remains 'comfortable.'
Well ladies and Gent: Hard to believe, but I really don't have the energy to post. I have notes from last night and notes from today...............I think I'll tuck them away and start fresh later in the weekend.
Have to say that Peter, I think you must be a very compassionate Man. Your posts are witty and comforting at the same time. You seem to be able to hold the hands of all of us ladies, and dole out humor and compassion! Do you have kids?
Anyhow, All I have right now is this. I agree with Lisa, I don't have patience for bickering anymore. I want to say that I love The Circle and wouldn't (couldn't) consider leaving. I have met some of my best friends here...have become like family with so many. You all are great. Yes, we are jovial alot of the time...to this I say Thank God. We need to laugh with each other as well as cry. We need to pass out congratulations along with hugs. I have a Big Brother now and Several Sisters...I have White, Black, Italian, Southern and so many more............here, we are all one race and nationality......we are Circle Girls! I have Christian Family as well as Jewish. Some are Catholic and some aren't religious. What do I care about? I care that you all care. Let's continue the Friendships and love that the circle as afforded us. We need each other as friends do. We can cheer you up, we can lend you a shoulder to lean on, we have hearts as big as Mt. Everest, and emotions that are like roller coasters. We can laugh until we cry. We can cry until we can't.
I love each and everyone of you and I thank you for just being you and accepting me for just being me!!
Have a great weekend, one and all!
Hugs,
Denise -
Shirley, Marsha, Gina...thanx for the info on BRCA. I've really been totally in the dark. We have a problem where I live because there is only one oncology practice in our health system and I don't have any alternatives. I did get a second opinion from a very highly recommended man at UMich, who by the way has already differed with my onc on a few things already. Maybe I'll go back and ask him about this...
On my rather enigmatic disappearances...I'm done with treatment, finished rads about a month ago. I've been a very active member of this forum in another thread, a group of women who are very close, and it's been very wonderful to have all the support that I've had, but at some time, you have to get back to life. I have been spending a large part of my day on these boards, and I think I need to focus on other things (like getting a business going!!) I really belong to another group, and I've been posting over here in the Wagon Circle because I have very dear friends here who are very ill, and for one reason or another couldn't post themselves and asked me to post for them. Thanks for all your help & support. I may need to come back if things get serious for my sisters, and thank you Gina, for pointing out that this is the place to come when things get scary. We need a place like this. Thank you.
xxxooo Mizsissy -
Oh Denise, I just cried at your post. AMEN
-
Gina, don't say nothing can be done so quickly we are sending afghans, that's something. maybe we could chip in money once a month and send a care package to someone struggling with treatment. Keep a list and send cards and letters. I would have loved to get more cards during my active treatment phase. I just might find some way to cheer you up yet!!!
And Beth, I haven't been around much so i'm reluctant to speak. I think this group is what it is and you would be happier if you were with a group of like minded women. That's not to say I'm telling you to leave, I'm not. I'm thinking about what you get out of it. I had a support group in California and all the women there had breast cancer except one who like you had her breasts removed to reduce her chances of cancer. It just wasn't the same. She had different problems.
I wish we could all just get along but we also need to celebrate and honor the differences.

Here's Madison and her daughter: They are gorgeous and so very nice.
And Madison and I: Okay - the sun was in our faces and we didn't do any primping. My hair looks better than that - I hope. LOL
Meeting them was wonderful! Okay - off to read and will be back later.
Hugs -
OH what great pics!!!!
-
Thanks Liz..soooo good to see you both...
-
OK Great big warm fuzzy hugs all around.
Nicki, thanks for the song. I remember standing in the bathroom with my brush belting out that song. O my did I squeak.
Jan, hubby has that on a Tshirt.
Vicki, I'm so good at diagnosing myself I should have a degree. Glad your finally gonna get the test done.
Susan, as I sat on my butt today watching What Not To Wear I had the passing thought that I should be doing something more productive and maybe should get a job. Then I got a snack and the thought passed.
Deb, your already gone....but.....HAVE A GREAT TIME!
Marsha, I think it's pretty cool that your getting your boosts in the middle. Wish they had done that with me. They didn't even tell me I was getting them till what I thought was my last day. I bawled like a baby.
happy birthday early Jankay. Telling you now cause I'll forget by tomorrow.
Suz, I'm seriously rethinking my hair decision. Gonna have to figure out how to make it do what it is supposed to do. But the color is fabulous.
Socal, Hola
Pam, the wedding sounds like a dream. Have a fabulous time. I will do a no rain dance.
Liz, glad you and Madison had a good time. Pics are fabulous.
Mizsissy, I am happy that you feel you can come here anytime. Did you see my post about your nightgown? wowsers it is gorgeous.
Well I have once again wasted my entire day. I did go work out. But that was it. Shame on me. Shoot I just remembered I forgot to water my flowers. Darn darn darn. -
Good evening dear CGs,
JanKay, Happy Birthday!!!! I hope you keep making good progress!
Pam, good luck with the wedding tomorrow. I'm sure it is bittersweet, but everything will be fine.
Amy, I am so sorry that things are not going well for your dad. I remember when my dad took a turn for the worse and it was just terrible. You are in my thoughts!
Liz, what great pics of you and Madison & her DD! How nice that you could meet!
OK, we are now moving on, enjoying our lives. I didn't want to cause a rift in the circle, but that being said, lets all move on. We know what we have had to endure and that is the truth. Enough said! We all KNOW! I love each and every one of the circle girls and guy. I think of you every day. It's been a long hard trip, but we are still here. Laughing, loving, enjoying life. That is moving on. -
Amy - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. This is a difficult time and know that we are all with you in spirit. Let us know what we can do for you please.
Hugs
Liz -
Liz and Madison, great pics. I love to put a face to the posts! Sounds like when Boo/Sue and Sheir and I got together. Looked at my watch and thought OMG!
Susan, did you hear? Cheri has graciously volunteered to hold Pinkstock '08 at her place. And since you live so close, looks like you might be asked to help out. I'd say, you are definately going to be asked to help out. LOL -
Good evening CG's. Just a quick hello before I have to get busy and finish cooking shabbat dinner. Everything is in the oven, but I need to make the salad and I have lots of fruit to make a fruit salad along with rum cake (that stuck to the pan) for dessert.
Amy - I am so sorry to hear that you dad is doing so poorly. HUGS to you and all your family. I wish I was closer to do something to help. You are in my prayers. I hope that your dad is not in any pain.
Who posted the beautiful picture of the naked ladies? I actually forgot what real boobs look like!!! Thanks for the reminder.
Jankay - happy b'day tomorrow. I hope it is everything you want it to be.
Deb - if you are still around, enjoy your get-a-way.
Gina - you are never far from my thoughts. I love when you check in so we can hear how you are doing. Please let me know if there is anything I can do long distance. do you like cookies?
Well, I better get busy. Wishing everyone a good weekend. Hope to be back tomorrow night, if not it will be Sunday. Hugs from Denver, Karen -
good evening sweet sisters and dear brother.
Time to make my rounds and see what I can do to bring some smiles around our wonderful circle.
Liz and Madison...wow...what a pair of beautiful ladies! Madison...your daughter is as beautiful as you are. I love putting a face to the names. Tucking you two in after your busy day. Glad you had a good time.
Bring some cool washclothes to Marsha and some aloe. No blankets on you sweet girl...keep those burns uncovered and cool. Hugs and love to ya. Sweet dreams.
Shirley...great big warm fuzzy hugs to you too. Can't wait to see the quilt! I am so excited about that. I may get a hold of CNN...seriously. Wouldn' that be cool.
Mizsissy...glad you came back and posted. The nightgowns are lovely. Wish I weren't in the "poor folk" group or I'd think about ordering LOL.

Well my dear that says it all...made me tear up and thank you because every word is true. Hugs and love to you.
Jankay's birthday is tomorrow but we are starting a cyber party tonight to last all weekend in celebration for her. Come over and join us ladies. Sweet happy dreams Jankay.
Cheri pal...where did ya go. hmmm...seems that someone said that me and Marsha are troublemakers...not sure if it were you or Jan...I lknow how the two of you are LOL.
Gotta stop and give our Amy a big hug and a prayer. What a terrible hard thing it is to go through. I know...try to sleep if you can. We'll put you in the center for lotsa love.
Pam...I was ready to jump on Jankays scooter to come round you up and here you are. Welcome back...sounds like you have your hands full...tucking you in with some prayers for happy dreams.
Odalys...where are you? Hiding is not allowed. Hugs.
Puppy...when are you going back to the doctors? Sending lots of love from me and Nate. I will try to get the pictures out to you on Monday.
Gina...it was so wonderful to read your posts today. You have been sorely missed here. What is it that we can do for you...that is the reason we are here...to do for each other. We need to learn to ask for what we need though. I know that many just sail along and pretend all is well when it isn't. It's hard to help when you don't know what to do.
Susan...I sure have missed your smiling face. Wish you were around more too. hugs and sweet dreams.
Iris...hmmm...I do believe you are out of town again busy lady. Miss you when you're not here too. Stayin clear of your wagon though...don't want the cops after me.
Robin...are you lurking and not posting. Don't make us worry again...please. Let us know you are ok.
Shel...where are you? Hoping they gave you an easier position at work. How's that girl of yours enjoying her summer vacation?
Tracey...gee we miss our snowman in thongs...sniff sniff.
ok...reached my limit for tonight...too tired (yadayadayada...same old same old). I am sorry to all I missed but you are all in my heart and mind all the time, not to mention my prayers.
Love and hugs
Vickie -
Well I think most of you are sleeping and hopefully peacefully.
Amy - So very sorry about your dad, thinking of you and your family and holding you close.
Peter - not good about the chest infection. sounds serious to be off work for 3 months. Sorry to hear that but we look forward to you hanging out here.
Nicki - wandering away from the circle can be dangerous, that's for sure! I can't blame you for feeling as you did, I felt the same way! I'm so sorry about your sister dying so young. Reading your post brought tears to my eyes. It's a terrible shame.
Jankay - your last day of therapy is my birthday! We'll have a double celebration! that's awesome how well you did at the pool .. I'm glad to hear you're feeling so well!
Jan - In this day and age of SUV's and minivans on the road the motorcyclist needs to be watched out for even more so. Stay safe out there!
Liz - your bathroom colors sound so elegant and sexy! I know you can't wait until it's done! We want pictures when it is! The pics of you and Madison are Great, thank you for those. It is so nice to be able to put a face to a name.
Denise - ROTFLMAO at your "I fowd out of bed" story! That is too funny! And your other post was just beautiful.
Shirley - thanks for the tip about the aliens coming for my Audrey! I'll try and steer myself for that! And I'll be sure to keep her clear of the haystacks!! lol
Gina - I'm so glad to see your posts. You are the one who started this forum and I feel such gratitude toward you for it.
Shokk - I have four sisters but it's not the same as the sisters I have here. None of them have BC and cannot even begin to understand what I'm going through.
Deb - enjoy your vacation! It really Does sound like heaven!
Vickie - Best of luck to you on your job interview! I hope you get answers and help quickly next week regarding your fatigue.
Pam - wow, the wedding sounds like a fairytale! Have a great time!
Cheri - Missed you on the boards tonight.
SoCal - Always enjoy your posts; and your wisdom.
Well it's way past my bedtime and my eyes are trying to close on me. I'm going to have to get up at 6:00 a.m. for another softball tournament that starts way too early. I'm told they'll play at Least 3 games so sounds like another long but enjoyable day!
Thinking of everyone from Amy - Z with love
Angel -
Good evening boy & girls. Well, I got busy today but popped in several times. I jotted little notes down each time i dropped in that are a mess. I don't know if I can make any sense out of them or not. Then when I came on here to post tonight I had a gazillion more posts to read.
Jankay, sounds like you're really doing well in therapy! I know that's hard work, too. You posted a joke I thought was really funny.
Boo, three boys, 2 of which are teens. Are they all yours? I asked because the 2 oldest are close in age. Ambers 3rd son that we lost to SIDS was just 12 months younger than Kevin.
Janny, you are such a good person and I sure enjoyed our talk today.
Puppy, hoping you start to feel better.
Liz, you've got you some sensual colors working for you in your bathroom. Sounds very pretty.
Denise, it can be quite a handicap for parents when toddlers can't talk plain yet, can't it? Funny story.
Sheri, hey.
Amy, so very sorry about your daddys failing health. Prayers for you and your family.
Shirley. Excellent post today. BTW, don't be telling people that I'm a push over, don't want the reputation that goes with it.
Gina, you write so eloquently. I agreed with your views and you phrased everything just right. Hope you're feeling better. You DO fit in and i wished you felt like you did.
The Circle has changed but I, personally, think it's better. We are good friends that make each other laugh and take our minds off the harshness that has become our lives. Yet, we have never failed to rally around when one of us needs support and comfort.
I take the most pride in the way we treat people that are new to the Circle. I remember when I joined back in Nov. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. I'd read some of the posts & knew I wanted to be part of something so special. So I posted one day and asked if I needed an invitation and i've been here ever since. That was a difficult time in my life and you wonderful ladies reached out to me and made me feel like i was exactly where I was supposed to be. Like I really belonged and I just snuggled right in and in no time felt like I'd known all of you for years. I'm awfully proud to belong to such a group. I treat new people that come into our Circle like I was treated and I do believe we bring comfort to those that need it. There's a family feel to it. I think we all realize what we have is special and don't want to do anything that causes any problems within our Circle. Which brings me to...
Buffalogal. My good friends Jazz and Marsha are some real smart cookies. They figured out that you joined back in Feb. and have only posted 4 times, 3 of which were in the Circle. I feel flattered that you only posted that amount of times and you chose the Circle. You must've felt welcome. I did read the post of Marshas where she'd found us welcoming you. I hope you didn't feel too foolish since she posted after you did. I cannot imagine why anyone would go to the trouble of having extra user names to post under...can you?
Nicki, thanks for the delicious breakfast this morning. I haven't had a chance to wander around the neighborhood since this morning. Hope you found it to be a nice day.
Shokk, your post was nice as they always are. I enjoy reading them.
Gus, glad to see you around. We miss you if you're gone.
Iris, my dear friend. i haven't heard from you in a couple of days. Maybe we can chat tomorrow.
Jazz, keep your dollar. I'll do a turbo charged wheelchair ride with Vickie on the back for free. Me and Jankay may just race tomorrow. hahahaha
Marsha, I've enjoyed your posts as usual. I've always liked your sense of humor. You're great fun.
Suz, sure Pinkstock '08 if ya'll want to. Branson, Mo.
Pam, congrats on your daughters wedding tomorrow and I hope it's nice weather for it.
Liz/Madison, great pics of you all and Madisons lovely daughter. You guys are just cute as a little bugs ear. I just knew you both would be.
Angel, sounds like you're busy with all the sports but that's a good thing so it keeps you out of trouble. It's not good when you wander too far from home. Love your sense of humor.
Peter, you post such lovely flower pics in the mornings. Thank you.
CherylCy, I hope you're feeling better. Please let me know if you need anything.
Vickie, I sure hope you start feeling better and find out why you're so tired. I will see you at the Cyber birthday par-tay tomorrow for Jankay.
Wishing everyone from Amy to Z a peaceful nights rest.
I'm glad to have my little Circle of friends here. You are as Real to me as anyone I've ever known in person. I'm proud of us.
For the record, Buffalogal, you are every bit as welcome here as you were before. I know you were just being silly about having applications to fill out because you've been treated very well here in the past. You're so funny.

Good Mroning Everyone: I was so busy yesterday, I forgot to tell you about my dress. We have a wedding to go to in August. The groom is Captain on a ship for Wendella Cruises - which is a rather large boat that takes you out on Lake Michigan. Anyways he is getting married on the Wendella and then the reception will be afterwords. All on the boat. Sure sounds like fun. I go to Dress Barn for nylons and found such a pretty dress. I put it on, and thought wow - I look pretty sexy. Even hides my scar from my port. Its a pretty black dress, and I dont care, I was impulsive. I charged it. Brough it home and DH says that is the nicest thing you have bought in along time. So I cant wait to be dancing in my new dress.
SoCal: Darn, my Italian Sausage comes from the store. But I do remember when I was a little girl, my parents made their own sausage. Fresh Italian sausage sounds so good. You are a special person, cause you always get the point across in such an eloquent way.
Pam: The wedding sounds beautiful. I could picture it as you described it. Hoping the rain holds off and that you and your family have a wonderful day.
Denise: Going back to work really cut into my time this past week. I have been popping in, reading, taking notes, trying to catch up - but still feel a little lost. I sure am greatful the week-end is here and I can actually share my feelings with our circle of friends.
Susan: Its always so good to see a post from you. I miss you my friend. Your smile face always lights up my day.
Liz: The pictures are great. Your hair looks really cute. Thats the style I was trying to grow mine back to, but alas - I dont have the patience for the growing pains. Think Im gonna stay short. Seeing a picture of you and Madison made my heart sing.
Sherloc: boy we sure sound alot alike. When I get my hair cut, I leave the place thinking it looks so cute. Then after I wash it, I can never figure out which way to go.
Jan: I do believe we are moving on. Day by day things seems to be a little brighter. After buying my new dress, I feel sexy again. Geez - havent felt that way since this whole thing started over 2 years ago. I love coming to the wagon circle. Its a safe place for me. As you can see from other threads, I dont deal with bickering very well! Hugs to you for having courage. You have been a good friend. Honest, supportive, and caring. And your my drinkin buddy.
Karen: Your Shabbot dinner sounded so good. Rum cake - yummy.
Vickie: You have had a crazy week, just like me. Hoping you get down to the bottom of what is causing you to feel so tired. I think I have accepted that fatigue is now part of my everyday life.
Angel: I just need to remind myself not to wander far from the circle. Seems like the same people who claim foul on other forums, are the same ones who start the name calling to begin with. Life is too short and I dont have time for that stuff anymore. Geez - I hardly have time to catch up here.
Cheri: Good morning to ya. I think this morning we will have waffles with fresh fruit and whipped cream. Got some great blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries yesterday. Sure do love summer fruit - especially when its on sale. Guess I need to go back and read all of the posts, cause I dont know who buffalogal is.
Jankay: Hope Jessica made it home safely.
NS: Weekly abraxane sounds pretty rough to me. No break at all. How many more rounds to go? Hoping you are at least half way through this chemo ordeal.
Im still trying to catch up here. Seems like I have missed pages of posts. So please bear with me.
Mizsissy: I was on prepro for 5 years. I do believe that contributed to my diagnosis as it is now considered a carcinogen.
Jasmine: Another person with different accounts. Oh please say it aint so. Not again.
Marsha: Im so sorry you are having to endure the burns from rads. Hoping August 3rd comes really fast. Hospitals and doctors use Silvadene all the time when dealing with burns. Hope you find something that gives you some relief.
Peter: I havent found the post yet, but it sounds like you have a bad lung infection? Hoping your ok.
Suz: Wash and wear. I just love it. Thats me. The more I play with my hair the worse it looks. Oh a BTW we sure have had a wonderful week with beautiful weather. Didnt do any swimming though - just a tad too cold for me.
Well I finially finished. Had to go back 7 pages to understand what many of you were talking about.
Cheri: Hahahaha, no Im not working 2 jobs yet, but I am looking. Nothing hard or stressful but resource pays good money for nurses and I want that check to be all mine! I really laughed when I read you stand by Jan. It reminded me of the song - stand by your man!
Sheri: Well its almost time for the house visitors to leave and once again experience some peace. By the way - you do have a way with words. Your post was very eloquent - I thought.
DebC: Rehashing old material. Yes - that seems to be whats happening. In fact, its the only time I have seen discord in the wagon circle, so I guess its pretty touchy to many of us. Hope you enjoy your time away. If you have a camp fire - remember we are with you.
NS: Talk about catching up? Man, it took 7 pages just to read what happened over the last 24 hours. Glad its Saturday and I had the time to read everything. Otherwise I would be totally lost.
Shokk: I sure hope you make a post on the week-end. Seems I have been missing you.
See ya all later.
