Hi there,
I just came across your post. I'm sorry no one has seen it. Looks like you posted last summer. I just joined in September.
I live in Sunriver OR (and part-time in Redmond, WA) and would like to chat sometime. You can PM me and we can figure out logistics.

Hi Esther! Gardengumby and I were talking earlier today about putting together a get together for NW friends sometime after the first of the year. There is a bunch of us in Western OR, WA and BC.
-
Cool - sounds good to me!
-
okay found this thread. Will put it in my favorites. Get together sounds good. Hope we can figure it out.
-
I'm sure we will.
-
Yay I might actually get to meet some of you!!!
-
Found this thread. I am definitely interested in getting together. I will make it a favorite.
-
Welcome fish. Hope you stick around and get acquainted. You will find BCO to be a wonderful place to make friends and help with questions you have about our mutual problems and issues.
-
I'm in Portland and would love to meet up with you ladies!
-
Finally found the thread...
We've so far been chatting about maybe sometime early next year (2013) - I don't know where a good "central" place is, but Chabba said she could get as far as Olympia, but probably no further. How would that work for everyone else?
A long lunch???
I still work regularly, so either weekend day would be best as far as I'm concerned.
-
Saturday is best for me. Sunday I volunteer with Breakfast at the Senior Center. I am not able to as much as I used to (I've been doing it since we opened in January 1994) but even the other volunteers who take up the slack get upset if I'm not there.
-
Saturdays work for me.
-
Saturdays work for me too - I can take my computer job anywhere but I will probably have to make that a 3 day trip - Don't do well with all the meds and driving that far... As I said in the beginning though - I have kids in Battleground, WA and Portland, OR.
-
Saturdays work for me also.
-
Saturdays work for me too.
-
Good, it is looking like a consensus.
-
I would love to join this thread and possible get together as well!
Hi Chabba! Been missin you on TOL lately.
ptdreamers - where do you live?
I live about 10 minutes from Seattle.
-
Dianne - Glad to see you, and do hope we can get together. I would love to meet you in and the others here in person. I'm making a list so we can be sure any interested parties are included in planning.

Hello girls, im near the Calif border, id love to meet up!! I have to tell you last April, i meet up with 12 ladies, our thread is (June chemo 2010) we all met in Florida,2 years after Our DX. we are from all over the US, plus one in Israel, and one in Canada.. We got each other through. About 150 pages in our thread. We stuck together!! How much fun it was to have got together!! We plan a Vegas trip in May, and every year after that.. Nothing better then having women that know what im going through and thinking!!
Its so neat to have something like this so close to home, and we all have BCO. What an amazing web site!!
Im hoping your all well,

Hi Ladies, I just saw this thread - I'm in the Eugene area, and am definitely up for a get-together. I work weekdays, so a weekend would be my preference.
-
Rain, I am on the Hood Canal about 100 miles from Seattle by car.
-
I would be interesting in meeting up you ladies, too. Weekends are best as I am working during the week.
-
I would be interested in meeting up also! At this point, weekends would work for me. I live in Oregon.
-
Wow, I posted this way back in July of 2011! It has just now fired up at the end of 2012.. Thanks SoCalLisa... This is overwhelming for me.. I was starting to think there were no Ladies on the west coast... Nice to know we might be getting all together After the holidays.. We just have to figure out where...
-
OK. Sounds like we've settled on a Saturday...
So now, as GMA says - where? We mentioned Olympia earlier. Will Olympia work for everyone?
-
Goodness there are alot of us in the northwest. I live near Issaquah 30 minutes east of Seattle. A saturday after the holidays sounds fine for me. Olympia would work. Diane
-
I'm in Roseburg, OR but family in Battleground so I can make a stop there. Anyone down here that wants to carpool?
-
Esther, glad you don't mind that we hijacked your topic!
This is getting exciting! Over a dozen of us now. Olympia seems to be the consensus so far which is fine with me as for me it is the easiest to get to.
-
May I join in? Saturday works for me as does Olympia. I have grandchildren in Hood River Or, so am down that way fairly often.
