I'll be there, too

Bumping this.
So far we've got Sept 28 at 1:00 pm in Olympia. Five of us definitely in.
Any more?
No restaurant has been chosen. Any food preferences? -
I like any kind of food
-
I think I can be there if I can bring a non BC friend as my driver. I just don't have the stamina or strength for a 180 mile round trip. I've been away from Olympia to know what local places might be good and reasonably priced but they do have a Red Lobster and I think an Olive Garden.
-
Olive Garden salads is my favorite - I kinda like to stay away from soy protein.
Chabba - Drivers are great! If you can find a friend that doesn't mind being with a bunch of BC ladies - She is welcome as far as I'm concerned!!!
-
OK with me, Chabba!!!
-
Olive Garden sounds fine to me. Chabba, your driver is more than welcome, as far as I'm concerned.
-
Olive Garden would be a good choice. Chabba, your driver is more than welcome - if she can stand us, that is.
-
Yeah!!! We have a date, a time and a restaurant!!! Let's see if we can get a few more ladies interested in coming!!!
I'd sure like to meet everyone!

Any other NW ladiess want to meet for lunch?
-
Would love to, but way to far for me
-
Sorry you can't join us. Maybe next time we'll try for a more southern venue.
-
I would love to meet you ladies. It's too far and trafficky for me, even on a Saturday. I am north of Seattle.
-
How far north?
-
About twenty-five miles, I think?
-
Maybe someone else will see this and be able to pick you up, or carpool or something. Unfortunately, I live in Tacoma. People who don't live in or around Seattle often don't understand the traffic problems here. Building the biggest city in the state between the sound and the biggest lake wasn't conducive to good traffic 100 years later...
-
Is there mass transit or train that can get you closer? I've driven in and around Seattle- it is a mess.
-
I'm out-I have a wedding reception to go to that day.
Jeannie57-I live in Shoreline. Are you further north than I am? Keep me in mind for future get-togethers as far as a ride. I don't mind driving in the traffic since I don't have to do it very often. I walk to work.
Mary
-
Mary, I am only a little more north of Shoreline, in Mukilteo! Yeah for carpooling at some point!
-
Any NW ladies are welcome to come. Just let us know.
-
I plan on being there.
Di
-
That's wonderful Di.

Do we need reservations? Do they take reservations? How many of us are there?
-
Hi everyone! I just saw this thread. I haven't read through the whole thing yet but wanted to introduce myself. I live in Puyallup, WA. Will post more once I read through everything. I'm doing this on my phone since I'm still in my postop period. :-)
-
I think there are 7 of us so far. I was thinking about calling for reservations and maybe using the "cancer card" in a low-key approach. Any objections?
-
no objection here
-
Hi-would love to join you ladies in Olympia, but just had Stage 2 DIEP, and am not sure if I would be in any shape for a trip that long......it is about 2 hours from Portland to Olympia......can I let you know a little later on in the month?
